Nothing to compare Pats to Dolphins rival series. Dolphins winning 20 straight created a tense atmosphere between the teams. Players disliked each other the media from Miami would write derogatory articles about the city of Buffalo.
Players did not change teams so much. There was more carry over from year to year. Nothing like watching the fans tear down the goalposts after the streak was broken. Bills got payback in the 90's. Not sure when the Pats dominance ends.

The guy is a warrior if you had 22 starters with his mentality this team would be really good.

Classic Hoody talk does not respect the Bills.

Nice write up. I thought Jets D game plan very solid kept Tyrod in pocket and overwhelmed the O line.
Poor adjustment by coaches to change play calling. Agree Tyrod has made progress.

Road to the playoffs win your home games split your road games 12 -4.

Tyrod was the least of the problems last night. Bills looked totally inept bad tackling, too many penalties and sacks. Cant stand prosperity.

Dont like what they got back but understand why he was dumped. Good article

Cleveland still has his rights. Only would take him for nothing and give him a contract with incentives. Guy has a lot of talent.

Class act , hard not to root for him. More players need to step up.

Like some one stated earlier a win is a win. With that said the NFL is a week to week league. AT least they did not commit a lot of dumb penalties. Look for them to compete this week

Really hard to get pumped up for another season. My expectations are low so if the Bills are crappy wont lose any sleep over it.
-
One game does not make a season, Pats have started slow before and have ended up winning it all. When they are 2 and 7 then you can bury them.

I took my kid when he was 10 to a dolphins game when Marino played my son was a fan of his. He heard all kinds of language directed his way. I was starting to fear for our safety. To top it off a couple was sitting near us with matching shirts that started F .., the dolphins. Last time I took the kid.

Browns cant buy a break sounds like a something that happens to the Bills.

If your a true fan you stick with your team no matter what. I have seen it all since 1960, in it for life go Bills!
-
Glad you are doing it again on this forum. Looking forward to another season.

Greggo came in boasting he was going to a real good defense even better. We saw how that turned out. McD made no such promise. Only time will tell how he will be as head coach?

A couple things about that article.
That Steelers game in the snow in Buffalo convinced me that we were ready to move on from the Rex regime. I've been watching our Bills a long time, and never was I more let down about the fact that our team got pushed around so badly in that weather. I mean, that's OUR weather. That's our home field advantage. Instead, some of our players (not all) looked like they had never seen the stuff before. So, the things that our former players said about moving indoors when the weather turned lousy certainly showed up to me in that game in particular.
Now moving on to today, I'm very optimistic that our new coach is so detail oriented. I'm thinking he won't let the small details that that Boston Globe article talks about go by the wayside for an easier life for himself or the players. At least this is what we've been presented so far. We haven't played a down yet...but I like what I'm seeing so far. I'm liking the discipline and detail. Heck, they even got Dareus out there sweating in OTA.
Like I said, lets see how it plays out. But so far, I'm optimistic about the future with McDermott and Beane running things. Lets hope to a long regime where a detail oriented and winning philosophy can become ingrained into the culture and we can go back to owning the division for a while.
Cant say it any better!

A coach who is able to make adjustments when the game plan is not working.

Gregg Williams made the same boast when he came to the Bills he was going to make a good defense" better" just like Rex predicated . We know how that turned out. Good luck Browns.
-
No denying his talent. There were reasons why teams passed on him in the supplemental draft, he was a blockhead in college. That did did not change with the Browns.
That being said if the cost was low worth a chance.

I feel for him and his family. I pray for a treatment to combat this horrible disease.
-
How about Walt Patulski. He has to rank up there with all those mentioned.

Hard is bad news if you add a disruption like him hard to build chemistry. Just pass on this one.

You could add another one amandola 3rd down catch ruled a first down. Romo made the comment to where the ball was caught.
