Ah yes, the world famous Rumble Ponies. I'll admit I hope he gets to AAA. I wonder who the Mets affiliate is

Vegas, but moving to Syracuse next year. Might be a chance you get to see Tebow there

This may have previously been posted, if so my apologies.  How do you take in the draft?  For years when I was in Amherst NY, a mile from UB north, we’d get together with a bunch of friends go downtown and have a fun night. But I missed alot of the analytical stuff with all the hootin and hollerin. Now in Florida for 7 years and not a ton of Bills fans around me, I tell the wife Im not available draft weekend, have the tv on, the laptop and ipad with draft trackers and kick back.  Wifey says Im the only one that does this.......am I lol?

Where did you used to go downtown to watch the draft? I'm a UB student and usually just watch it with friends at someone's house, but that sounds better.

  3. Genuine question. I've been following him for awhile, and have always seen his scoops being disregarded by others. Just followed him for the entertainment, because why not. Lately, I believe he's on to something. Yesterday he reported news was coming today about Bills and Browns. News came. I understand he didn't exactly break the story and it was vague, but kind of interesting he said he would have news the day before everything went down. He's reporting Bills are offering a second for Foles, and now there seems to be a lot of smoke around that. Reporting more major Browns news tomorrow involving trade talk for one of their first rounders. Does he just vaguely speculate, or is he actually on to something?

  4. "- The quarterbacks on the South roster all had an opportunity to impress everybody at the Senior Bowl — without a standout coming into the event. There were three that had the potential were Virginia’s Kurt Benkert, Western Kentucky’s Mike White, and Kyle Lauletta of Richmond. Of that trio, Lauletta has shown quite a bit of ability — and really was impressive in his work on Wednesday. Where he lacks in arm strength, he makes up for in his decision making, his placement of the ball, and athleticism to tuck the ball and run. I really liked his work in the red zone above all else. Considering the success that the small school QB Jimmy Garoppolo has had in the NFL, that’s certainly helped open some eyes about Lauletta — especially if he continues playing like he did on Wednesday"

  5. What are the thoughts on him? I admit I've never seen him play, but from someone who has, what do you think? I understand he's a FCS QB, but from everything I've read he seems to be a leader, smart, accurate, and has decent arm strength with good height. Would he be a good get for the Bills in the second, or is there even a chance he rises to the late first round if he impresses at the senior bowl?

  6. Looks like they didn't want to pay him when an escalator clause in the CBA more than doubled his salary from about $800K to $1.9 million (there are other FA safeties they apparently like better for the money):

Here's a list of currently available FAs at safety (notice something, other than where Boston is listed and it wasn't in alphabetical order--it's a stroll through our esteemed franchise's history):
