  2. yesterday, i had the opinion of  foreiting the bengals game and just moving on,i would of been fine with it. today im not so sure they can move on properly yet,the organization definatly has there work cut out for them getting these kids ready to play at the level they have been performing at all year,i feel whatever the outcome is i am going to be ok with it,if we lose to the pats ,(bengals??),and get bumped the first round,so be it i totally understand why

This is a potentially life threatening situation, there is going to be plenty of real-life drama not associated with football for this event. Roofs caving in, medical emergencies with no way of getting to the people, carbon monoxide deaths from people not clearing vents and/or being stuck in their cars, travel bans, etc, etc.  NFL needs to not be idiots and move the game. Football is a secondary concern at this point.

i could'nt agree with you more, its the fact that they think the band will be south of the stadium by 900 am,so everything will be fine,i guess they have no consideration either for the thousands that have to come from the south,219 between ashford and eville gets closed multiple times a year for accidents

So here are things to consider for the game...

What if Erie County issues a travel ban like they normally due in these situations?  Nobody who cannot walk/snowmobile can legally attend the game?

Those bans typically last far longer than you would think...perhaps they make an exception, but how does having 70K people trying to get to a single point help them? Could be a logistics nightmare.

What if the I-90/219 is closed?

Just not a good situation no matter what if they decide to play the game here.

    great point

With the Bills playing on Thanksgiving, what are the options here?

Could they possibly decide today to move the game to an unused facility Sunday? If they don't, and everything gets closed down, this game could get pushed back. Then the Thanksgiving game would have to be moved to the weekend. I'm sure the NFL wouldn't want that.

they have to move it to detroit,i really believe this is the only option,if they our correct on the band placement and timing the airport and 90 will b shut down sunday am(or for probably most of the weekend),then after the game the 219 will be compromized, let alone the logistical nightmare of the stadium and parking lots, remember this is consider a "crippling" event by many professionals
