  1. You are not understanding what I said. My family is not what I would consider wealthy. I said the my father was once like those you described. It has to start somewhere. He bettered himself and then had a family and continued to do so afterward. That in turn benefitted me to some degree. Do you get it?

Poverty is not a problem that can be solved by others alone. I had a guy work for me once that was from a war torn Country. He wasn't white. He was A very hard worker, came here with literally nothing. Another guy understood enough of his native language to communicate with him. He said that in his society if you don't work hard you are an embarrassment to your family and that is the worst imaginable thing. The point is, many of these problems are generational and cultural. Not really for others to solve. No one has to turn to crime to survive. There are jobs. Some people feel that some jobs are too god for them. Others want to work. That guy was a great example , poorer than poor. I see it in other countries I visit too. People came over with nothing. Some are poor, and others said heck with that I'll open a store. Just a different mentality. I don't really care all that much because there is nothing anyone can do to help someone who won't help themselves. Some will turn to crime and kill people in their way because they have zero respect for anyone. After awhile you realize that there are things that just can't be changed. You have a lot to learn but you seem smarter than the positions you are taking.

Why didn't you just type "blacks are lazy" since that's what your ramblings boil down to

"No one has to turn to crime to survive" - yeah sure buddy, why do people with no job prospects and unreliable transportation end up selling drugs to make money? And why do our politicians make money off throwing them in jail for marijuana?

    It's almost like they're...at a disadvantage

  2. You know what. My father was born into poverty and had nothing. He made something of himself. Did I benefit from that ? Yes. No different than the people you are describing. .

You just said that people who can't afford to have children shouldn't have children, but now you're implying that those same people possess the same "benefits" that you did, with regards to generational wealth

How do you "make something of yourself" when there's no jobs? It's almost like certain communities have to turn to crime to survive

How do we solve that problem? Do you care?

  3. It's a shame that people are so irresponsible to bring children into the world when they cannot even support themselves. It's best to focus on self improvement through education, hard work etc and getting a job where you can support yourself. Then possibly think about children if one can afford such things.

Ah yes, let the people born into nothing with no support system and no education just "bootstrap" themselves out of poverty

Let me guess - you're a white baby boomer

  4. Oppression? You are media brainwashed pal.

Buffalo has the second-highest childhood poverty rate in America

I'm glad you can go have a beer at Canalside and buy tickets for the Bills games, but most of the city lives in crippling poverty

Stop trying to make it about *my family* or *America* or *law enforcement* - can't we all agree that black people are disadvantaged? Or should black people who speak out get their face on t-shirts with gun cross-hairs over their chests?

  5. I'm not mad at all. You seem quite angry about something though. Going to tailgates to take photos of strange people , starting polls after calling people offensive names such as " racist". That is indicative of an anger problem that you may want to get checked out. Following the Bills may be just too frustrating for you. It's not nice to call people names and make snap judgements about them. Perhaps you could spend time more constructively. Perhaps look into getting a job in law enforcement. You can make a difference. It starts ... with one.

    You still sound mad

  6. You don't want to bash Ralph Wilson? Okay I will do it for you. Long before Tom Donahue or GM Levy, good old Ralph was running this franchise into the ground. He is the only owner in NFL history to lose the number one pick in the NFL draft to the CFL, for christsakes. Ralph owned the team for 20+ years by the time he drafted Jim Kelly; at which point Kelly saw what a mess this franchise was and jumped to USFL. Read Kelly's autobiography. They had to sneak the hiring of Bill Polian past Ralph, who opposed it. After hall of famer Polian constructed the best teams Buffalo ever had, Ralph fired him. He paid $25,000 for this franchise, which appreciated in value to over 1 billion dollars, and that wasn't enough for Mr Wilson. After realizing a significant profit every year, in addition to his billion dollar + windfall, he decided he needed an extra 10 million so he gives up competitive advantage by moving games to Toronto. The players hated it. John Murphy railed against it. For most of the years he owned this team, their win/loss record has been horrendous. The notion that most Bills fans have,m that is that Ralph deserves hero worship because he kept the team in Buffalo, ignores the huge financial award he received for keeping the team here. And conviently ignores the fact that good old Ralph, in the early 70s, threatened to move the franchise to Seattle, unless the taxpayers of Erie County built him a stadium. For which he paid nothing for. And named it after himself, despite the fact he contributed zero to it, and despite the fact that for all his whining about lack of revenue, he was willing to give up the 5 million plus per year in naming rights to have the stadium named after him, that stadium everybody here but him paid for. The great Ralph Wilson indeed.
