I feel with my hands and see with my eyes and dont think McPegula will Fire McClappy.....

Would be anticipating the Pegula’s to sell both franchises as the Sabres are riding a five game losing streak and profitability margins are completely down.  With third party vendors picking up a majority of the slack and with massive layoffs in the PSE controlled hospitality businesses. You cannot operate at a loss for to long and saleswise someone would be looking at a hostile takeover.

Folks seem to have already forgotten that McDermott was feeling good about using Nate Peterman as his starting QB this year while Josh Allen sat on the sidelines and "learned."

Getting blown out by the Bears, Chargers, Colts, and heart breaking losses by an over the hill veteran in Derek Anderson instead of finding a younger and fresher backup like Barkley doesn’t make me enthusiastic for the nepotism that McBeane has brought from Carolina.  Including sticking with KB while adding Star and Murphy who are rotation guys defensively.  For an elite level defense and mindset has neglected the offensive line completely.

i'm going to say it...i like the op's work.  he's sassy.  he's pointless.  he's everything we need in a look at me poster.  he's wonderful.

Super Bowl winning Coaches don’t usually get anything from Bills fans other then bitterness and anger.  How dare they be better Coaches and actually win.  Let’s be Uncle Chuckleheads and mock an OP who brings a dissenting opinion to a 4-9 year.

  4. Still say we should draft Sam Mustipher in the second round.  If anything we now need a body to rotate in and out with defensive ends and tackle; I think Tolen Avery out of being an UDF is that guy or else take him in the seventh.  Kyle Williams and Trent Murphy would need that support if Kyle stays another year or we need Avery to step in and rotate in and out with whoever is picked up.

The Bills of 2000-2010 are not the same Bills as today.  I loved Ralph but he was part of the problem.  We reached on too many 1st round picks and he should have nipped Donahue sooner.  Ralph still loved the game but he could not properly evaluate the direction of the team.

Ralph’s daughter Linda died of cancer in the early 2000’s and they bonded over the Bills.  Linda Brogdan (Wilson) had been tired of losing. She put forward bringing in Polian, Levy, and acted as a scout who went in early and stayed well after even they left.  Up until her death she was still working scouting even with the diagnoses for that though can see why it was such a heavy weight for Ralph to carry.

    What kids?

They should just go into these games with the mindset that the game ends at the 7:30 mark of the 4th quarter and then roll over after that.

Should be in that clip a dad took his daughter to see the game.

    Win the McSuper Bowl

A team which rolls over to the Red Coats; BRILLIANT!  I’ll go crack a Kaliber!

I'm talking 47-3 beatdowns. They haven't had 3 of those. The defense stepped up and the O did something in the 2nd half of the Chargers game. Despite the score of the GB game the D wasn't terrible. The offense was inept and Allen played like a rookie. If you think McDermott is on the "hot seat" then you are sadly mistaken my friend. He just coached an average team into the playoffs for the first time in 18 years about 10 months ago no matter how it went down.

So the defense is either as average as the offense or it’s just plain wasted by McClappy.

McDermott tied for 28th in the ranking.

McClappy has been fired in all of his stops as a failed DC and pretty soon he will transition to OC as Canned Chan Gailey had.

while I am not a huge fan of McDermot its just difficult to understand how Bowles and Marrone are ranked ahead of him

They are better Coaches who have done more with less.

  8. So, don’t protect the rookie valued Quarterback but have him gain “experience” while risking injuries in a lost season?  Wherein, the throwing elbow has already been an area of concern?  The logical fallacies of the arguments is that a veteran Quarterback was needed to groom Allen and we threw him to the wolves instead.  Okay, guys what if Allen gets injured again and requires surgery?  What if we lose him going into the pre-season and parts of the start of next season as well?

So bench our starters that are young and need playing time to develop in fear of injury? You're officially in the running for worst post of December... Good luck you have my vote.

We are at 4-9 not exactly losing face by working in a preventative measure to lower injuries.  I’d rather have a healthy roster of younger players going forward than riskany other fibula breaks moving forward.  Putting our best foot forward as well for next season.

  9. In order to protect our starters and prevent injuries think it’s time to send in the scrubs on offense and defense.  Preserve Josh Allen and prevent injuries in the defense since Matt Milano is already gone and done think we’ve honestly got to think about that.  No playoffs anyway so should just roll over not exactly any pride during home games or any games for that matter.

McClappy as you call him reminds me of Pete Carroll (in terms of sideline style)  .. he just doesn't chew gum .. seems to me that team (who looked good last night) wins with the run and defense ... I know there are a lot of commentary on the new NFL (KC, Rams, Saints style of play) .. but when you see Chicago shut down the Rams or Dallas shut down the Saints .. that's still shows that maybe .. just maybe .. a defense can win big games.

If the defensive side is better, more aggressive, and calls blitz packages with stunts yes; it does win.  McClappy on the sidelines though doesn’t win.  And, the media practice cemented Sean’s cluelessness.  Beyond Jauron in blaming Josh Allen for receivers dropping balls, mistaking receivers for tight-ends and telling them to drop into three or four point stances, and then the kids of death; demanding that Daboll slow down the rhythm passing drills.  Here we are 4-9 with Peterman a major contributor to it and Beane cutting him at the confidence presser. My view is sure they report to the Pegula’s it all depends on who can bend their ear more and to what extent Beane wants his own guy marching the sideline and not someone who brought him in.  Businesses make tough decisions all the time it seems like a no-brainer to fire McDernott at this point.

Lol I gotta admit Joe the paranoid side of me does think some paid media interns are running rampant round here. It's complete paranoia but there have been a lot of process missionaries this season. All hail the process.

This season sucked donkey.. I'm optimistic but I ain't trusting the process brutha. Just pulling for the Bills to get better. Not "trusting" they do.

I actually see McDermott getting fired after his decisions to keep Peterman.  It didn’t do him a solid to run the presser.  Beane may have been brought in by him; to save his own neck though, his process is to find a better Coach.  As well as his choice in Coaches and whose been someone he’s worked with that’s achieved a level of success not being fired in all of his stops so far.

He's entitled to his opinion..just because it's not popular does not mean you and the Bills defense attorneys should gang up and run people off the board for dissenting opinions.

Besides not every poster is as resilient as I am.

The moderators wait and give far to much leeway for some members.  It’s a little uncomfortable having them question whether or not I’m an immigrant or if I understand English comprehension.  Understanding that they are using corporate methodologies of Nixon-era practices with rats that I’m a little bit more acclimated to given my former professional background.  I know they want profanity or an excuse to get others tossed and moderators don’t want to see the gravy train of web hosting sponsorship ended.

  13. So for all of the blowout losses and confidence as well as profitability margins it’s worth it for some fans.  It’s not exactly inspiring confidence to go for the “money shot” when it takes time for draft picks and free agents to fit into the team chemistry and makeup.  Which means now more of the same 7-9 or 8-8 without really seeing anything but glimpses on what could be.

No its not...its the same thing we have been doing for 17 years

    Its time for something different

Yeah, tell that to the kids crying after that blowout loss to the Bears.  Watching the after video of fans who were completely demoralized and expected at least something.  No fight to the mat fish McDermott whatsoever.  So, now it comes down to team cohesiveness and the team gelling together which takes a year or two tops for even the most experienced Coaches and even the most talented.  So did you smile as Peterman threw all those picks in blowout losses?  You don’t exactly strike me as a fan just something to business to you.

    Actually its not

Going 8 and 8 and drafting out of the top 10 is Mediocrity

This is rebiulding......and drafting in the money rounds

Going 8-8 after a 9-7 playoff appearance was more acceptable then going 4-9 and watching home ticket prices drop to $5-$6 bucks.  It looks like Baltimore not drafting in the money rounds actually got them a pretty good mobile Quarterback who can also pass.  While in tanking mode McDermott started Nate Peterman pretty much indefensible.  And, yet Baltimore looks playoff bound with real Coaching f and management and we look like McClappy was a limp little mat fish.  We have management just not a Coach who’s ever worth a damn.

  16. We sick and we are 4-9 with many of those games including the Texans with the Bears tied and tethered to McDermott continually relying on Naren Peterman.  While, refusing to even move on from him.

There is a good reason why our coach is relatively conservative on offense: He doesn't have enough talent on offense to execute a more aggressive game plan. Our OL is one of the worst in the league. Our running game outside of the qb is poor. Our backs are clearly on the downside of their careers. Our receiving unit is less than second-rate. And our young qb is very raw. At this early stage in his career he is not very adept at making reads and going through progressions. Because of the lackluster talent on offense Daboll  has had to resort to a number of gimmick plays in order to keep the defense off-balance.

The issue isn't what you want to do as it is what are you capable of doing. The truth is our offense can't do much. When you have a glaring deficit of talent on offense you do whatever you have to do to get by. The conservative approach may be unsatisfying to the fans but under our restricted circumstances the conservative  approach is the right approach to take.

We were restricted from winning by his conservative approach, with a mixture of there is always next year, while blowout losses have effected and affected fan turnout.  With that in place though the business angle took a hit as well with unsold merchandise, unsold tickets, and ownership relying on third party vendors just to try and do stock sell through.

I can't speak to immigration status, but methinks your less-than warm reception had plenty more to do with your unintelligible posts and incredibly hot takes.  Which makes sense to me as you are pretty clearly trolling here, and you are being treated accordingly.  Good work through, you got the board pretty stirred up in the last few days.

Any signs of frustration or questioning is treated with insults accordingly?  Wow, even to children and elderly thanks but I’ll pass and ignore you guys when I post.

Um. What? Not really sure how any of that is relivant to what I said. But, erm, for what it’s worth I fully support your right to criticize the Bills.

I’ve gotten questions on immigration status and abilities to comprehend English.  When I see the McClappy die hards it’s usually their flinging insults or profile creeping as to how long I’ve been here on the boards.  Feels like a tool to divided rhe fan base or push out dissenting opinions with all the psychological force of a sledge hammer.

Tenhigh you guys ran your mouths collectively on my immigration status or comprehending English.  You folks got a lot of leeway from moderators on it.  See you folks insulting the elderly and disabled without any oversight.  Not a lot of answers though for if you would be this mean and snide toward family members with disabilities or elderly family members.
