Our team was built? With a QB who basically never started a game and was a complete unknown and several question marks on the O-line.
Maybe our defense was built.
I couldn't agree more with that. Our team wasn't built and isn't built.

I'm saying we are always going to be a mediocre team if we keep firing coaches after 1 or 2 years. Yes I know this year was disappointing , but look we had a ton of injuries that we couldn't work past on the D.

I know people are complaining about Rex and the staff. But let's give it time, I mean look what Cincy has. They've have the same coach for a long time even through hard years. We need to have the stability at the HC or else we will keep going through the same old same old mediocre team. I'm pro Rex and am just wondering what everyone's thoughts are.
I want Thurman as DB coach and Pettine back at D coordinator

Social media's a weird thing. We pass judgements on people we've never met because "they said something" or "haven't lived up to OUR expectations." I try not to do that. We're all different. But $10 bucks says you cheer next time he scores.
A lot of people like their athletes to "shut up" and work. People tend to view their lives of punching the clock as no different than that of an athletes. But I've always thought it a dangerous habit to compare "real world jobs" and pro athletes. They're not the same, not even remotely close. And it sucks IMO to make the connection/relationship with the players we root a purely fiscal one. It takes the fun out of sports and replaces enjoyment with jealously and resentment.
Sammy will learn that it's not always the best idea to respond to fans. But lose respect for him, naw. I'm good. I'm still psyched we've got a talent like him and have got my fingers crossed these injuries will soon be a thing of the past.
I hear ya and yeah maybe I am looking to deep into what he said. I too am glad that we have him on the team just hope that he gets healthy.

NO!! I don't do that crap it's stupid to do so, gets you no where. As for my feelings hurt hell no, I want the guy to show up, play, and be a positive role modal for kids.

I would like it if the Bills would cut EJ and sign Tim Tebow. He looked decent in the preseason (yes I know so did EJ) but Tebow is a winner. And he looks good in a Bills uniform.

Rex is calling the D, Thurman just holds the clipboard.
There's probably not a DC in the league who does less paretically on game day than Thurman does.
Do you think Rex needs to simplify the D?

We have way too much talent on that side of the ball and it's not showing at all this year. If not Schwartz then anyone but Thurman a change I think is needed.

I know yesterday's game wasn't the defense's fault. The game in my eyes was lost because of BJ not the D, but when we needed the D to win the game for us at the end they couldn't finish. I understand the Robey PI was crap but that didn't lose us the game.
My question to you all is who has calling the D? If it's Thurman get rid of him and bring back Schwartz.

Hey Rex I love that you are trying to build a team and love the city but Schwartz's defense last year was way better more pressure more turnovers and most of all a lot more disapline which is weird as I thought we took a lot of stupid penalties last year. That said can I suggest you take your defensive mastermind self back into the film room and look at what worked last year.
I completely agree, I think we need to stop blitzing all the time and do what we did last year like you said. We keep getting burned on short quick passes.

I think the only reason why we're not seeing all the sacks this year so far is because of how fast the QB's are getting the ball out of there hand.

It's a an accomplishment that no other team has ever done. Do I wish we would have won one of them Super Bowls? Hell yeah I do, but the fact is we can take pride in getting to the big dance.

I live here in Houston and on a local radio show they were going to give tickets to someone who could name 5 players not named JJ Watt. Well guess what no one got it. I also like asking the Houston fans "how many AFC titles do you have? " and ask them if they've ever heard of the greatest comeback in NFL history.

I'll be flying up from Houston, I haven't missed a home opener in 10 years. It's the game where me and my good friends always have a great time. We normally get to the lots early and start cracking beers.
