  1. I sit right next to the tunnel and absolutely love it. Those that have said there is nothing more exciting than having the play right in front of you is right. It's a bit tough when the play is away from us, but both sidelines have scoreboards now to look at.

I did have seasons in the upper level, on both sidelines. On one side the sun is out of your eyes , but it can get chilly sooner once it goes down. On the other sideline the sun gets in your eyes, but you stay warmer.

  2. Thanks for reminding me...the best place to park is at the (Sheraton, I think) hotel across from the stadium on Rt.3. $25 and they shuttle you right to the stadium gate. Easier to leave post game too.

I stayed at that place before one of the games. It was connected the service road that takes you right into the stadium. Pretty nice, and the shuttle also takes you to the train station if you want to go into Manhattan.

If you do drive the traffic pattern I thought was rather well put together. It doesn't take long to get to any of the highways near the stadium.

  3. I've been to two Bills-Jets games there and never had a problem, aside from a few smartass remarks (which I may have instigated). If you plan on parking at the stadium I would suggest buying a parking pass ahead of time, otherwise you have to park and take a shuttle into the stadium. I've never taken the train into the stadium, but a friend has when meeting me at the game and said it was pretty easy to use.

  4. I got my seasons in the tunnel end. I'm the last row on the left side (facing the field) along the tunnel. I love seeing the players come out and having whoever the former Bill is waving the flag right above. Plus the new renovated concession stands under cover behind those seats are really nice (especially for my girlfriend who doesn't like going when there is bad weather), and plenty of bathrooms in that area.

This will be my third year in those seats and I've gotten to know the people sitting around me, which surprised me how much I actually enjoy getting to know them. When I had seats in the upper corners, I feel like a lot of the seats around me were always sold on the secondary market because it was new people every game. So I like knowing who is going to be around me every time.

  5. My girlfriend and I are getting into town Friday night. We're staying at the Hilton at Paddington Station that night, then staying near Waterloo station/Westminster Bridge the rest of the week.

Anyone else going to the night before party at the Pipeline?

  6. A couple of tips:

If you fly into Heathrow, you can take the Heathrow express to Paddington Station. You can buy a ticket online or right at Heathrow. If you buy a ticket for the Heathrow express, you should also buy your return ticket as well because it is cheaper.

Another option (which is cheaper but not as fast), is to take the tube. If you are going to travel on the tube (either from Heathrow or traveling around London), I recommend buying an "Oyster Card." It costs five pounds, but it makes it easier to travel around the tube. All you have to do is tap in when you enter a station and tap out. Of course, you will have to keep enough pounds on the card to pay for your travel. I believe that you can return the card and get whatever money you have on the card (including possibly the initial five pounds but I am not sure). I go to London now and again because my wife's family is from Europe so I just keep my Oyster Card with my passport.

I also recommend that you go to a soccer game while you are there. I am an Arsenal supporter and certainly would recommend seeing Arsenal. There are plenty of other teams in London as well. Even if you do not like soccer, I think that you would get a kick out of the atmosphere. The EPL schedule comes out in June usually. I am hoping that Arsenal has a game that weekend that does not conflict with the Bills game so that I can go to both.

Of course, there are plenty of other things to do in London no matter what your interests are.

    Great idea.

How difficult is it to land a pair of tickets to an Arsenal game, or any other Premier League team in London? If it works out, I'd love to go to a game that Saturday before.

  7. Hey everyone,

I've been watching this thread for a while, but I've finally been able to post.

My girlfriend and I are heading out on Friday the 23rd out of Rochester, and will get into London around 9:30 p.m. London time.

The only thing we have left to book is our hotel. We'll be sitting in section 503, row 25.

Looking forward to meet up with Bills fans across the pond!
