Anyone know what Elam's injury was at the end when he was on the ground getting treatment? I had no audio at the time so wasn't sure. Could have been just cramp as he didn't seem to distressed.
He played well today. Deserves to start across from White from here on in.
Looked like cramp of some sort. They were stretching out that leg pretty aggressively

So stupid of McD to tip his hand like that…why say anything passed this week?
What if it is the flipside. He said it but he comes back and they don't expect it.

Maybe I'm the ####### here, but I just don't give a ***** about any of this. At this point, the Bills could take the L for the Bengals and forfeit the Pats game. It sucks from a football perspective and for all the hard work the players put in, but I think the players will tell you that none of this matters.
Hamlin's health is literally all that matters at this point. I get that some people need to distract themselves in times like this, but I honestly feel like the majority of people talking standings are just being selfish. The football part will play itself out. But right now, it just doesn't matter.
I almost wish this thread was pinned and locked, because the interest being on the wrong things is disturbing to me
Best to remember that people process and handle tragedy differently. For you what you said makes sense, for others they look at things in a more logical manner and use thought outside of the human factor to handle the situation. If you don't like the topic of the thread....maybe just don't look at the thread. Allow people to handle the situation in their own method.

So most likely a Chiefs win will go away
RNG and number out of a hat have the same theoretical odds. Basically RNG will generate a random number between 0-1 and multiply it by 17 and round up.

Can we please use a different thread to discuss playoff seeding and what not? I’m constantly refreshing hoping and praying to see positive news about Damar.
There is not going to be any update tonight. The hospital and medical professionals have made that clear. He will be going through cardiac care which is 24-48 hours of tests. He is in induced coma where they will slowly take him off of sedation and see what happens. Those tests will not start until tomorrow.

It still hands the Chiefs the #1.

I'm saying we do it like my rec kickball league. Move it to the last game. We play the Bengals the weekend after the super bowl
They push the probowl out and play the game the weekend the week after the last game of the season.

In my eyes, the third round is where you take that homerun swing. You don't make the "safe" pick here. You look for the guy that has those intangibles that most people at his position do not have. Bernard is that homerun pick, his intangibles are speed, leadership, instincts and plays bigger than he is.
Speed: McD and Beane both have said they need to get faster, for the linebacker position this guy is fast at a 4.59 40, he uses that speed both down hill at blitzing and sideline to sideline in coverage. He makes good tackles and does not get beat in coverage.Leadership: you hear from every coach and player at baylor that is interviewed that Bernard is that guy they will go to war for. He is intelligent and has that "it" factor
Instincts: there are 2 highlights of him that sell this for me, him blowing up the WR screen, he is there as the ball is arriving from the WIL LB spot, next is the interception where he covers the Hook route in the middle and then breaks on the ball for the INT. You can not teach these reactions
While he may look small he hits big.
Calling it now, the Cover WIL LB will be the new thing in the modern NFL, basically will be a big Safety that plays in the box.

I'd disagree with this and appeal to the "it's a team game" argument, but Brady was surrounded by nobodies for most of his career and elevated those entire teams. Brady had a DaVante Adams type once in his entire career, I believe. And Moss didn't really play there that long.
He had one of the most dominant tightends to ever play the game in Gronk for a large part of his career. There was a time you had to game plan how to defend their tight ends.

Yeah, bet a lot of BLM types are voting trump.
It's not that they are voting trump but a large portion of them were disenfranchised voters. They only show up to vote when there is a reason to vote and at that point there is a reason for them to vote. Trump did not win many votes(Had similar number of votes as previous Rep candidates) in the last election, it was Hillary losing voters from the far left(Bernie voters) and much of the minority votes not having any interest in voting her in. Now it would not matter who is running you have the far left wanting Trump out and the minorities now have a cause they are rallying towards.

Exactly. He is in cognitive decline, and cannot last more than 20 minutes delivering a prepared speech in a tightly controlled environment, forget about a 2 hour rally in front of thousands of people. Could he even draw a crowd of a thousand?
I honestly do not think he would be dumb enough to hold a rally during COVID and BLM. Hell he already has rallies every day there is a BLM protest with out having to lift a finger, think about that for a second, all of BLM would show up if he held a rally. Trump doing nothing but antagonize BLM protesters is sealing his fate. He could have worked to defuse the situation and he would have maybe stood a chance.

Yes they are.
You think there is enough paid rioters to bus rioters into every city, hell cities smaller than Buffalo like Fargo and Grand Forks North Dakota had people rioting? This is a mix of people with a lot of time on their hands, COVID lockdown, mixed with a group of people who have been marginalized and told any method they attempt to protest they are not allowed to, see NFL kneeling, and now they have had a case where it is as blatant as can be of Gross incompetence mixed with extreme racism and it has push a very large group of people over the edge. I am not condoning their actions but fully understand them.

Yes, Duke has caught everything thrown to him for the most part, alllllll the way in those CFL days. In any event, yeah disagree, to me I think he will bring more to the table than Zay, hands down (no pun intended).
CFLor NFL, catching the ball is catching the ball and at least IMO he does it a lot better than Zay
Coming from someone who watches a lot of CFL, last year Edmonton Eskimos offence lived off of if was a broken play throw it in the general area of Duke and he went got it in traffic, through contact, etc. He is a catching machine and was relieved when I found out that he was leaving the CFL. And he will not make it to the practice roster.

Is there any indication that he's incapable of learning the playbook? (I haven't read through this thread at all, so I have no idea if that's a legitimate concern.)
If he can learn the CFL route tree and playbook with all the motion options and NFL playbook will be easy.
