  1. You're right. The exact word 'done' was never used. But proclaiming "Welcome Home, J-Mac" and saying he's signing a 1 year deal with us is the same exact thing.

Look, I hope i'm wrong and BF is right. But going to battle for a BF report vs. an Adam Schefter report is just plain homerism.

Don't have any quotes, but just now watching mike & mike and schefter is on and just said that "the plan is to visit Baltimore after Buffalo" but if he had to quess Maclin isn't going to make it out of Buffalo.

Edit: Damn yolo you must have 12 tvs and webpages open at all times!!

Bills source says Buffalo also made hard run at Smith, but he informed Bills, despite great visit, he wants to go back to his former squad.

Would have been nice to see some competition at RT.. hopefully there are some other options available

Haven't seen this mentioned, and feel like many on this board would like to hear that DT has simplified things for the defense. Doesn't provide too much detail, but we really have looked great on D minus the Jets game.

Still have to give a ton of credit to Rob for the red zone defense, though.

Hey. Stop making shoulder jokes! In all sincerity, I appreciate your thoughts as one who knows this situation very well.

Haha you got me on that, I'll have to watch my words with this topic.

If he had it his whole college career...why not get it fixed after his first season?

I don't have an answer for that one.. But if my memory is correct he never had any form of brace on it up until this season. But now knowing that it was something he dealt with, it does seem odd that he didn't get it done over one of his offseasons during school. The only thing I could guess is that somehow he really did f*** it up during practice and it made it that much worse (which is heard for me to believe).

Maybe OBD would have been more concerned if Shaq had missed time in his Clemson career due to the shoulder injury.

I'm torn on how I feel about this idea. It makes perfect sense that Shaq was out there, so he must be ok.. But for about half the season Shaq and Ben Boulware (absolute monster at LB) had those braces on their shoulders that wouldn't even let them get close to 90 degrees. I watched each play nervous as hell that they would get taken off the field. Hell, they said Shaq got hurt doing a swim move in practice.. He couldn't use the swim move for the second half of the season! As soon as I saw those style braces I knew they were pretty limited.

On the other hand, once his shoulder is fully healed he may be better than ever. Like Shaq said, he has dealt with the injury his whole college career so maybe he will add some moves to his arsenal.

billsfanaticsBREAKING: Per Source, there is a NEW report that Shaq Lawson has recently re-aggravated a shoulder injury at practice and will have to undergo shoulder surgery this offseason. This report has not yet been verified by the Buffalo Bills. We treat this information as a rumor and are unsure ourselves, more to come.

It's just the bills fanatics Instagram.. But it's going with the trend we have heard.

  7. I reached out to a few Steeler fans and they said Archer couldn't beat out a guy to be the 3rd string returner. I think the Bills are ok for wanting to take a look - but I don't think he makes the team.

This.. I was excited at first, but then saw a tweet that his longest return for the steelers was 38 yards. I can't find it now but either way that isn't too promising. My buddy who is also a Pitt fan said he couldn't find holes in the return to save his life. Here's to hoping his vision improves!

    Edit: There it is.

  8. i thought he could replace the Harvin role and scare defenses enough to lay off Sammy. Whether he really could do that, I'm not sure. But that's where I saw him and was excited about that. It's ok though :) probably better to get a more polished WR.

Don't want to get too off topic, but I feel like pharaoh cooper, if he falls to us, would be a great pick. I watched him at USC have all kind of bums throwing to him and he was still a legitimate threat, I would be ecstatic if we grabbed him today.

  9. I think the pick will work out great, as some have said it would be nice for him to be Kyles replacement.. Also, not giving out great info on the guy but my good friend is a HUGE Buckeyes fan (I'm sure there are a couple on this board) that thought this was a very good pick for us. Just kind of talked about how the big names on that defense pushed Washington to the back burner, but the kid has a lot of talent

  10. I like the pick. Everyone talks about how it's a waste of money to have Marcel at NT, so why spend an early pick when we can wait until the mid to late rounds to grab a big boy? Like someone said DJ reader could be a plug and play, and I also like Nile Lawrence-Stample out of FSU in the later rounds. We needed a legitimate LB in the draft, and we got one.

Also, I am seeing more info about how similar Alabama's scheme is to ours, which is a good head start.

  11. Plus Watkins was picked before Rex got here. Last year we went FSU heavy in the draft. Living in Charleston I watch alot of the Clemson games and follow their program. They always have top end talent and good human beings. If they are not Dabo kicks them off the team. They are the anti FSU.

This kid is the real deal. I'm guessing we'll all be very happy with this pick after her settles in and learns the defense and speed of the NFL.

This is spot on.. I've been on campus for the past couple years and these guys don't really get away with anything under dabo. I also agree that everyone will end up loving this pick.

Yes, we had a good defense as some have said but Shaq was still the focal point, getting the most attention from the O. For those who watched the breakdown against Stanley, that game alone shows his versatility that will translate to our scheme very well. He lined up as a 4-3 DE, 3-4 DE, and played some OLB as well. And another highlight is that he LIKES dropping into coverage when asked, and looked pretty natural doing it.

Something I feel everyone will notice quickly is his run defense, setting the edge. His high motor allows him to effect the play even if he doesn't get to the ball.

Anything could happen, but after watching him for a couple years in person I thought it was a great choice. (I personally thought we had no chance to get him)

  12. Yup. I'm very happy if I'm the Oiltans. Nice trade for them. And it'll be a nice trade for the Rams if they hit on their QB. I totally disagree with this having anything to do with winning now. Drafts rarely do - except in the eyes of most fans. Exactly how was a team like the Rams going to "win now" with any possible draft picks or moves? It's a poor line of thinking for them. If the Rams hit on their franchise QB, then they'll be able to finish building their team as their FQB develops and they can have a nice, long run. That's what this is about.

I get what you are saying completely, and as I said it will take a couple years, I didn't mean they are trying to win now. I just feel like a team like the Rams, with a decent amount of holes still, just lost three picks in the first three rounds this year along with their first next year. Unless they pull of some late round magic, or hit on FA in the next couple years, I feel like even if the QB develops into a good player the team overall will still not have great talent.

If he turns into a top 5 QB, then he may be able to put the team on his back, but who knows how they actually end up. So like I said, I agree with you that the trade isn't about winning now, but they still set themselves back when it comes to having an all around roster. Also, their division won't make anything easier.
