Teams that are "Tanking" do not get a -9 in the eyes of Vegas...even against the Jets.
Vegas always knows.

For the record, I am on the "definitely should sign Maclin" side of things, but the hilarity that will ensue on this board if he chooses the Ravens could be worth the disappointment. Hours of smashing the F5 key only to be let down will set this site ablazeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

dont be, I know I am in the minority when it comes to jeans...keep rocking em buddy
I will just think you look like your having a mid life crisis and trying to be young/trying to be a cowboy/are canadian
This just says to me you have no idea how to dress. there are so many ways to wear jeans.
Also, WTF is going on with this thread? Next someone is going to be posting recipe about a low carb buffalo chicken dip thats perfectly accompanied by fresh cut veggies....and that person wont like to wear jeans
-
cotton/twill fabric is far superior to denim...how it feels, how it looks, the fact you dont look like your canadian. Denim lasts longer, but I'm ok buying pants more often so I dont have to be seen in jeans
Chicks can still wear tight jeans though, thats OK
Barny Stinson trying to class this joint up.

Just not true
Half true.
Jeans are irreplaceable. Cargo shorts should have died with the chain wallet

Our WR group is mediocre, unproven, and close to the bottom of the NFL.
There is no reason to be against trying to upgrade it with a guy like Maclin.
Best case, he and Sammy hit their stride and the passing attack is top third in the NFL. Worst case, both stink, we let Sammy walk and have Maclin for, what, another year?
-
to me, the #1 reason sammy would want to leave is "targets"......he ain't getting enough of them here.
Sammy has no right to B word about targets until he can stay healthy enough to develop real chemistry with Tyrod.
Dude has talent for days, but the smart thing is decline his option and if he has a healthy, breakout year then tag him. Its a couple mill difference, not a cap buster
-
14 million against the cap vs 2 million(gilmore vs white).
You forgot to include the third round pick we acquired.
Carry on with your crusade
This guy gets it

Next year's QB class is much better.
A 3rd rounder in this deep draft is very valuable.
And the value of two 1st round picks is definitely not overstated. If anything, it's being underplayed by even those who support the trade. The flexibility they will have is an advantage that cannot be overstated.

I live in the suburbs of Philly, but not planning on going into the city for the draft. Without actual tickets, I don't want to miss any picks, trades, or mediocre analysis.
I'll be at my house with Eagles fans watching the draft while playing poker.
Buying a case of Labatt's so those dirty Birds fans know its a Bills house.

I don't understand this thread. They can't get rid of enough of the talent to actually rebuild. Contracts and age prevents them from dumping these players. Not to mention the O Line is solid and under contract. That line + Shady is always going to generate some success - at least enough to avoid a 3-13 season and a #1 pick.

I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up yet, but I am not convinced Rex is getting fired. It's always reported that the Pegulas listen to the players (part of the reason Roman got axed), and since the reports of Rex getting canned have coe out a handful of players have publicly expressed that they think he should stay. I believe that will have some weight in the decision, so if its still being discussed, that could be the determining factor in whether he stays or goes.
-
Big fan of easing him back in. They are thin at WR, but still should be able to beat the Jags by running it down their throat. It's a team that is ready to break, so an early TD drive will crush their spirits...get Sammy ready for the Raiders because they will probably need to put up 28 at least to get that win.
-
Would be a GREAT signing. Rex knows how to control a locker room. Will come cheap too.
-
I mean without a first rounder there was little chance the Bills could give the best offer.

Dear god RT @JayGlazer The Saints and Seahawks are trying to finalize trade Jimmy Graham & a 4th rounder for Max Unger & Seattle 1st rounder

Maybe this needs its own thread, but...
The #Saints have called around, open to shopping many of their players, source say. One notable player included: TE Jimmy Graham. For real.

Potential Cap Saving Opportunities for Bills this offseason:
Leodis McKelvin- $4.9 mil (via trade if Revis is acquired)
Kraig Urbik- $3.05 mil post June 1st (if Iupati signs and with cheaper options for depth)
Chris Williams- $2.48 mil post June 1st (Injury prone with bloated salary--no brainer)
Scott Chandler- $2.25 mil (with acquisition of Clay and Cragg's presence plus deep TE draft)
Mario Williams- $8 mil ??? (per Buffalorumblings.com, If the Bills converted $12 million of Williams’ $14 million salary in 2015 to a signing bonus, this move would create $8 million in additional 2015 cap space)
Fred Jackson-
$2.58 mil(Per WGR and Tim Graham, Freddy isn't going anywhere, nor will they approach him for a paycut)Marquise Goodwin $465,000 (Injury prone and can be replaced by Marcus Thigpen or any FA or draft pick)
TOTALS- (Urbik, Williams, Chandler, Goodwin: $8.43 Million)
(Add Mario Williams Restructure: $16.43 million)
(Add McKelvin Trade: $21.3 million)
NO Fred Jackson
So with the above moves, the Bills can add an additional $21.3 Million to their cap space that currently sits at $12.7 million for a total of $33 million in salary cap space entering FA)
Awesome breakdown. Even if it doesn't happen. Good work by you. From what I've heard, they are willing to restructure Mario if they really need the cap space, so they should not be prohibited at all from going after any free agent they see fit.
-
So an owner willing to spend a ton of money AND keep a fan favorite (with a very low cap #) is a bad thing?
Get the hell outta here with that.
-
Bills source tells me Fred Jackson "isn't going anywhere." Second source tells me Terry Pegula got involved. Stay tuned.

ILB don't need wheels. Kiko will be just fine. In 3 yrs he will still be going strong and McCoy will be a 2nd or 3rd stringer like Chris Johnson
I can't even handle the ridiculousness of that comment.
-
Look for the Bills to sign Shady's old guard Todd Herrmans. Older but durable and still good. Will be a nice addition
-
This trade is perfect. Kiko wanted out of buffalo. Deal with it. Bradham is a stud and made him expendable. How good did kiko make our D last year??? Oh right, our D was just fine without him. Whaley is a stud.
-
The people already screaming for Pegula's head are probably the same one's who were mad we let Byrd walk. That was the right decision.
I want Hughes back, but a.) Whaley deserves credit for a lot of his moves so far in his tenure and b.) Let's wait and see what they do in FA before crucifying the Pegula's.
We know Rex wants Revis. We know the Bills need at least 1 QB and possibly a RB. So they need money. If Hughes is looking for $9+ mill/year, then maybe you let him walk.
And if we lose out on Hughes, but end up with Revis, I'm pretty sure no one would complain about that trade off.
Pump the friggin breaks and think of the long haul before going crazy simply because they didn't give an $8 million per year player a $14million franchise tag.

I've always been a TT fan (but never went overboard), but I think this article says a lot. I belive in PFF metrics. Additionally, will be very hard to upgrade at his price tag. He's taken huge strides already this year. If he can continue to grow threw the next 9 gamees, there is no doubt he should be around for the long haul.
