Defense will win at least 7 games for us. Unlikely the offense will tack on another 3 from what I've seen so far. But then again, it's only preseason. Can't read too much into it.
Not sure what gives you any indication the defense will be any good at all.

Stopping the run and the Defensive backs will be an issue. There is no depth also. Any injuries to the front 7 will be damaging. Expect it to be a long season.

I don't even think about the Tyrod stuff anymore. He's the only NFL Caliber player at that position. He could go 1-20 with 3 picks and still not get pulled imo, thats how bad the rest of the position is. The focus is more so getting timing down with all these brand new receivers, which isn't easy. Then again, thats why we call it PREseason. We are running basic running plays, not schemed, and just evaluating positionally. If you know preseason, you know the 3rd preseason game is the only game of the preseason that there will be scouting reports on then opposing teams. The 3rd game is where you see the closest to game action during the 1st half. Im interested in the battle for Holmes to get a spot, or if somebody else can step up.
Another Tyrod or die idea smh. They could have saved the $10 million given to him and gave to a player whos actually pretty good at what his position requires. For Tyrod that means throwing the ball. He isnt very good at that. Keeping Gilmore or Watkins would have been a much better idea. Trevor simien for the Broncos came in and did an admirable job being a 7th rd draft pick andd making all of $455k for the year. You act like this team is a good Tyrod away from winning and in all actuality this team is a VERY VERY VERY VERY long ways a way from putting a quality product on the field. We now have a bunch of #3 wideouts with no clear #1. Back to the drawing board in that regards. The OLINE is apparently in shambles. Depth along the front 7 on defense is quite thin. Colin Kaepernick. 16 TDs 4 INTS 2200 yds in 12 games played for the 49ers last year. Not sure what else you guys are looking at. But he compares very favorable to your loveable Tyrod.

What is ther to like besides not throwing INTS? What else does he do well as a QB? Good QBs make throws when guys arent open. But they are when the ball get s there. Tyrod will not do that. He wont throw it. No risk,,no reward.

Why do players WANT to go to Boston? Its not the city. Its the winning culture. Something that hasnt been seen since the mid 90s in our parts. We have yet to replace our field general. Jim Kelly. We have put up a championship defense at times and we have and the best run game at times and at times we have had nothing really going for us. Yet the constant remains. No playoffs. Its the QB. No one else. Until one is secured. Things will look the same at the end. Tyrod is who he is. Some one who is limited at throwing the football. We run the ball just fine with out his 40 yds. take away th 4 sacks he takes per game and that leaves his rushing yds to almost nothing. 7th rd Qbs drafted out of Northwestern produce the same numbers as Tyrod. Its just the way the game is played today. 300o yds and 17-20 in a 16 game season is not good. No matter how many picks you dont throw

This team drafts players and then 4 years later they let them walk scott free and we are back at the drawing board. Until we start retaining our quality players if we draft properly we will never ever ever win. FA is not the answer for Buffalo. Not many WANT to come there. Why would they. Havent won in 20 years.

Trevor Simien on his rookie contract is a much better option than Tyrod

Theres about 25 other Qbs around the league not named brady who are better at QB then Tyrod is. We arent going anywhere until he is replaced. Maybe by Peterman. A lot of scouts talk him up. We ll see. But not if tyrod is taking snaps. Even tho we all know what he brings to the table. And most of you apparently like what you see. Based on what? EJ manual? OK

Someone listed weeks 2 3 4 5 8 9 10 14 15 and 16 or something like that a while back I couldnt even muster up a response to that. Im not sure what they consider a good game by a QB. Obviously just looking at stats and not going on actually happenings over the entire course of the game

I feel people just over react to everything. If our D was marginally better last yr we win 3 more gms. Then we don't hate on Tyrod as much.

Put him up agaisnt a team with superior QB play and we dont stand a chance. the game is over before it begins. Most look at stats and say he had a good game but most of his passing stats come on 1 play or in garbage time when we have no shot at winning. Those who watch the game in its entirety can attest to the fact that he leaves numerous plays on the field and the good he does does not over weigh the bad. He just wont do anything to lift his team above. Its up to the run game andf defense to win it. Just dont lose it Tyrod. SMH

You need a QB who sees what is going on before the snap. Jims greatest quality. He knew what play to get us into. Tyrod is not that guy. He is a little guy,,who doesnt see the field weel until the play breaks down. His comp% is near the bottom of the league. What he does with his feet,,when not tkaing sacks does not make up for the lack of throws he does not make. He simply wont throw the ball into harms way. A guy must be WIDE open b4 he throws it. Wont win a big game that way. More often than not
