  1. 1. Bills beat Texans

    2. Giants beat Jets

    3. Colts beat Steelers

    4. Chiefs beat Raiders

If all the games above break that way that would leave the Chiefs as the #5 seed and the Bills as the #6 seed.

Bills, Jets, Steelers and Texans would all be 6-6. Bills edge out the Jets because they beat them and they also have the better divisional record.....that would leave the Bills, Steelers and Texans. Bills would edge out both due to AFC record. If the Bills beat the Texans their AFC record goes to 6-5, Texans would be 4-4 in AFC, and Steelers would be 3-5 in AFC if they were to lose to Colts.

If the Raiders beat the Chiefs they edge us out for the #6 spot because they would have a 6-3 AFC record, which is why I think it's better for the Chiefs to win tomorrow. I originally thought it was best for the Raiders to upset the Chiefs, but upon closer inspection I've reconsidered. After looking at the Chiefs remaining games (@OAK, SD, @BAL, CLE, OAK), coupled with their AFC record (5-2) along with the fact that they beat the Bills, and you realize the Bills have little chance to leapfrog them. The Bills would have to win 2 additional games than the Chiefs in the final 5 weeks of the season to leapfrog them in standings, in other words, slim chance.

With all that said a Raiders win doesn't hurt the Bills all that much because the Raiders have a lot of "loseable" games down the stretch (@DEN, GB, SD, @KC).

I realize this post looks desperate, and will look even more foolish at about 4:05 PM Sunday when the Texans beat the Bills, which I fully anticipate, but I felt like being optimistic for 10 minutes tonight and doing what so many fans of other teams get to do.......envision their team making the playoffs!

classic build and destroy the Bills post

  2. This!

Half a good game doesn't mean he had a good game. 14 of 26 for 236 yards, 2 TD's by the half. Then he went 7 of 12 for 50 yards in the second half.

Watkins had 9 targets, 6 receptions for 158 yards, 2 TD's at the half! Then had one target for no receptions in the second half

The Bills inability to do much on offense in the second half, and the defensive scheme went back to that cover over pressure crap that allows the opposing QB time to do whatever he wants.

Then Ryan and his coaching staff can't manage a game to save their lives. Its an embarrassment to be a Bills fan at times.

he also threw for another touchdown in the second half and did you really think coming into this game his numbers would be this good?, he did his part , Defense didn't

  3. Besides a couple errant throws, I think he played good enough to get the team a win, Dropped passes by wide open receivers didn't help much but overall he protected the football, made some good throws, and scrambled when he needed to. The one thing I would have liked to see more was for him to run more and often. The Offense did not lose this game at all, with the weather being as bad as it was and the yards we gained and the points we put up (Really 24) against a really good Chiefs Defense, 20 to 24 points should've been more than enough to win this game, But on defense with the way KC moved the ball in the first half against the over matched Overrated Rex Ryan defense, adjustments should've been made, something that Jim Schwartz DID!!!!

  4. Our version of the Philly vs Green Bay situation except if we lose this one our season was lost for sure.. You have to admit nobody including me thought Orton could get that pass off let alone complete it at or beyond the first down marker.. Once we converted the improbable 4th down conversion I knew we could win the game..We possibly played our worst game of the year and lost our best two running backs and still pulled out a win against a team we should destroy .. 4-3 I'll take it considering where the rest of the NFL is at.. Bring on The JETS GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Easy fella. We win two games and people think we won the division. Orton has one good game, and this?

I thought that San Diego was a statement game and looked what happened? New England? We MUST win this. We MUST change the culture of the team...

Statement game with EJ at QB?.. with Orton we beat both Houston and San Diego and We WILL beat New England We WILL

  6. For a guy to comeback to the NFL after he was drinking Jack Daniels on his couch thinking about retirement.. His first game back he puts up better numbers than Aaron Rodgers vs the NFL's number 1 rated defense.. He looked a bit rusty on his first couple drives and had the pick six.. but once he started getting into a rhythm he showed that this offense can be very dangerous.. once he builds a chemistry with his receivers I'm very excited about the potential we have with Orton going forward.. I know its only one game.. but you have to be somewhat optimistic about where this team can go if he continues to play like he did Sunday minus the pick six

  7. Hey give this guy some credit. At least he has the stones to be accountable. Now, had he paid attention to my avatar, most of this could have been avoided. Well, we live and we learn.

However, in the end, he's doing the right thing.

Now, what about the other 30+ posters here who've been saying the same, or worse? Well, you have a whole thread now, just for this purpose, don't you?

    Thanks buddy lol

When EJ sh*ts the bed (like he did in Pittsburgh) and you say so, why should you apologize when he has a good game and you say so?

Because the next time he goes poppie I won't be the one who harshly comes down on him

  8.

That's an insult to Tuel. Seriously.

The reason why I said that about Geno putting up Tuel numbers is when Tuel put up those numbers we wrote him off .. EJ had the bad game and people including me wrote him off.. I just apologized for doing just that.. Geno's performance is only gonna add the same comments we all had about Tuel that's all just with Jets fans now

Tuel was much more impressive in his only start. Even his interceptions were were more spectacular. Geno throws very average, run of the mill pick 6s.

Tuel's numbers were similar in regards to the Browns game

  9. I apologize from the bottom of my heart because you are a rookie and you're still learning how to play QB in the NFL. I have to realize that this is a rebuilding year and I'll have to have patience and deal with any growing pains. Btw Geno Smith put up Jeff Tuel Like numbers up yesterday lol
