Please stop thinking Stevie 13 was a #1 he will be lucky to be a #3 in SF. #1's don't have a hamstring, back ,thigh and the drops on 3rd down plays. He was nothing but a veteran with bad habits that the niners will not put up with he will be cut next year.

I would rather have a 35 year old receiver that is tough as nails than a alligator armed over paid WR IN SJ#13. Draft Evans at one outside woods on the other side and Smith in the slot. That would be more reliable than the current situation

I still think Pears gets released that would add another 3 million and I would Trade SJ#13 and save 7.5 million. Draft Evans and sign Pettigrew, spikes and Nicks with the additional 10.5 you just saved. Look to fill RT in 2nd round or late cut.

I would rather see williams at FS and Searcy SS in the box on running downs and on passing downs Duke Williams SS in the game. Spend Free agent money on Offensive line and a middle linebacker.
