Don't know the situation and $150 is crazy - but on the flip side maybe he only had half as many spots as normal because of the snow. So in his mind he's just trying to clear what he normally does.

Who else was at this game? Blizzard was known about well in advance leading into this game. How much snow was there coming down during and in the few hours ahead of the game?

It's very common in the NFL and NHL. what I don't understand is why some coaches use them too. Adam Gase used to, and just last night I saw one of the Sabres asst coaches hitting one a few times. Not sure why they would need them, unless they're hooked on them.
I saw that earlier this season at a game too. Mittelstadt would do one before the start of each period, then he'd give it to the assistant coach to finish off.

Talked to a few people who said Borderland in East Aurora was great yesterday. Franti and Portugal the Man had a lot of energy. I have never seen Franti live but looked up some shows and they look like a good time.
Up today - Infamous Stringdusters + the Flaming Lips

This weekend Borderland Festival is in East Aurora. It's a surprisingly big festival with a good lineup that a lot of people in WNY may not know about (and as I just posted a thread about - Tasker and Christie will be there Sunday signing autographs).

Borderland Festival is this weekend at Knox State Park in East Aurora. They have a pretty good lineup of music (Portugal the Man, Michal Franti & Flaming Lips are the biggest names) + beer, food etc. https://borderlandfestival.com/
On Sunday, Steve Tasker & Steve Christie will be signing autographs for charity.

The ideal gas law states that PV = nRT. So as T goes down, P x V must go down as well. However if additional air is pumped into the ball (more n), then the effect of lower T is negated. So if they pump the balls up to a certain pressure while at at game temps, all is well.
When we bring the basketballs out of the trunk for practice they are all very soft. 20 minutes later they are fine.

Respectfully, who are these bands.
Hamburg Brewery has a big party Saturday with good local groups. That's our plan
Depends what you like and what you are looking for.
Lots of songs on the radio? The Revivalists and Cam make the list, but not a ton after that.
Good music? Absolutely.
Stringdusters have a grammy
Jason Isbell has 4 grammys.
Cam - grammy nomination.
Local music? They have an entire stage featuring only local bands.
Beer? 6 breweries (including Hamburg brewery)

Anybody heading to Borderland Festival this weekend?
In addition to the music / beer / festival stuff - Steve Christie is hosting a tailgate on Sunday.

My wife and I were talking about this.
Josh played great last year when stadiums were empty.
He listens to Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Junior before games, rather than music that pumps him up.Maybe when he gets too amped up, he plays poorly. So maybe the best thing for him is peace and calm.
I think everyone in the stadium should do a silent, joint meditation when the Bills are on offense.
I brought this up a lot after the season and most people thought I was crazy. Hopefully I am crazy and it's not an issue, but there it seems logical an empty stadium would make a lot of things easier....

Strange that they would even say that...
Really? He invited cameras into his home for the whole world to see so he could make more money.A guy who gets paid to be edgy said his daughter was "acting like an annoying little pissant". The guy shouldn't have said it but this whole thing is entirely overblown. -
I was there last night. Everyone was pretty good natured, but there were 6 (young 20's) Bills fans sitting behind me (and my Jets fans friends) that were popping off way more than they should. They are lucky they didn't get pummeled by everyone around them.
In my book, when you go to the other team's stadium - you cheer for your team and don't talk **any** sh*t towards the other teams fans.

should have left ej on side of road
"Hey EJ, can you get out and have a look at the knuten valve real quick?"

This whole thing fascinates me.
Why on earth are these guys still together?
Split apart and be so much less conspicuous.

My worst fear for Thursday is we lose narrowly to Germany and Ghana ROLLS Portugal. I can see Portugals spirit being down and out, coupled with a short turnaround from Manaus equalling them laying down and taking a Ghanaean beat down.
Yeah, the 2-0 Ghana win and the 1-0 US loss is absolutely possible.

how the hell did somebody actually see that on the broadcast.

Anybody out there halfway good at video editing / know someone who is and want to work on something cool? I have a hype video concept laid out (with timing and clips etc) - just don't have the skills to do it myself.
Can't pay but might be fun....
