  1. So, I like to check out the opposing teams message boards each week... for whatever reason, I cannot find a decent board for the Eagles. Yes, I Google but the options suck. Which do you use?

    thanks

I was doing the same thing yesterday and could not find one single Eagles message board that was talking about the bills game. It seemed like most of them were not updated or somethin. I have been on many other teams message boards and this billsdaily site definitely has the best one.

  2. This week is critical. Bills must win along with Chiefs (yes, Chiefs) Giants and Colts. That puts in the #6 seed.

agreed. The chiefs-raiders game in kinda a toss up because either we are tied record wise for both wildcard spots if chiefs lose (assuming steelers lose in this scenario) or we move into sixth spot with chiefs wining over raiders and them moving into the 5th spot. In my opinion, Colts beating the Steelers would be HUGE for us, assuming that we beat the Texans.

  3. I believe EJ defeated the Fish and JETS in the past. What rational do you have that he can't do it again? Please do not answer with because he sucks.

just checked to make sure I remembered correctly.

    2014 season MIA 10 @ BUF 29

    2013 season NYJ 14 @ BUF 37

He has regressed since last year, he just lost to the Jags because of his own terrible mistakes, and both of those teams are better than they were last year

  4. Agreed. That para military crap never works anyway. Remember the great Gregg Williams with his air horn ? Please. There is no magic bullstt , people. Guys just have to make plays, and some just need to get healthy.

Exactly. As bleak as things seem, we are only 1 game behind a pittsburgh team that has a poor conference record (1-3) and plays at cincy this week. They lose that game and we come back the next week and win vs miami at home and everybody is back to feeling like the season is full of life. One week can change everything in the NFL, even as much as that Jags loss hurts...

  5. I admire the optimism of some folks, but here's some reality:

It is extremely unlikely that 9-7 will get you a wildcard spot - over the past 10 seasons, only 7 teams at 9-7 or worse have won a wildcard spot (17.5%). Some years even 10 wins does get you in.

If we assume 10 wins for a spot, look at the remaining schedule and show me how the Bills finish up the rest of the season at 7-2. NE @ NE is almost certainly a loss - show me which other game the Bills lose and they need to win the rest - those are some long odds (although Jim Carey might say, "So you're saying I still have a chance").

Actually, the way things are shaping up this year in the weak AFC, 9 wins could get you that last wildcard spot and possibly even both wildcards. I see us losing at NE, one of the Jets games and maybe that Cowboys if Romo is back. That would put us at 9 wins and with tiebreakers, possibly the wildcard. The season is far from over, especially with a number of our injured players coming back.

  6. Lets all just chill. We are only 1 game out of a wildcard in a very mediocre AFC (outside of NE, cincy, and maybe Denver). We have half of our offensive starters returning from injury and a favorable schedule down the stretch. We can definitely get to 9-7 and sneak in the playoffs. Gotta believe!!

  7. I realize that the QB play has been poor. That's easy to see. But it seems that a big complaint of our receivers is that they have trouble getting free vs. tight man to man coverage. Why then do they just get in a formation and stay there until the snap? Isn't the idea of going in motion so your receivers can get into better match ups downfield? If we have trouble getting free off the line, why aren't we moving our receivers around pre-snap?

because our Head coach and OC are clueless....
