  1. So i booked a room for 2 at the Hampton Inn at Cleveland-Westlake. It's about 20 minutes West of the Stadium. Where are some good places to eat around that area, and what time are fans allowed in the Stadium?

    This is the location

I wish I had seen this earlier. I live in North Olmsted, just south of Westlake. Crocker Park is right across the street from the Hampton Inn, and it has all kinds of restaurants, including a Cheesecake Factory and a B Spot (that's Michael Symon's burger place).

  2. expect the Browns to dump everyone and start fresh

Report: Browns open to trading WRs Gordon, Little; covet RB Tate

Not content to stand pat after shipping RB Trent Richardson to Indy, the Browns' front office will also entertain offers for their two young WR, Josh Gordon and Greg Little, according to a report.

I read yesterday the Weeden isn't their future QB

Weeden will not be the future QB. I think he comes back after the injury, but he won't be here next year.

  3. From what I know is Ogbonnaya might be the starter, until Willis McGahee passes his psychical. I know they put a couple RB's on IR. Dion Lewis is promising, but I think he's one of the guys that was on IR.

McGahee to play in Cleveland. I don't think they have a Dave and Busters there?

You should have heard the media and most of the fans here this week. They were howling over this deal. I think this one may actually backfire on the Colts, though.

And by the way, there's a Dave and Buster's in Westlake, which is where many of the Browns players live. Similar to the Hamburg/OP area.

  4. Prison Planet

That said, I do think Obama is cleaning house and putting more Democratic friendly officers in high positions. But that's standard operating procedure for this Administration

Alex Jones is a friggin' joke. I can't even call him a nutjob because that would be insulting to peanuts.

Conspiracy theorists fail to realize that for conspiracies to go right, things have to be perfect. And life simply throws too many variables into the equation. The standard modus operandi for a lot of these quacks is that our government is uber-powerful.

  5. Taking my annual trip to Vegas for the Super Bowl. Did not go last year, first time I missed it in six years. Really missed it. Going with 4 of my friends. My one friend got a 3 bedroom suite at the Flamingo. Never stayed there so not sure how nice it is there but hey the price was right, which is to say it was free so I can't complain. Cashed in my frequent flyer miles so my ticket was also free so this trip has cost me nothing that is to say until I hit the crap/blackjack tables Friday afternoon. For the Super Bowl we got tickets to the Flamingos super bowl party. Not sure what that is all about. It is on one of their top floors I believe & my friend that got the tickets said it is open bar & they have a ton of food so I guess we are going to do that. All day Saturday we will hang out at the sports book in the Mirage & when I say all day I mean all day. We will get there probably 8:30 am & not leave until the Gonzaga/San Diego game is done which will probably be around 10:30 pm or so. I will probably bet about $1,500 worth of college basketball games that Saturday. Should be a nice little weekend. Looking forward to it.

Methinks there will be drinking on the roof, a tiger, a stolen police car, and Mike Tyson involved. Or was that a movie I saw?

  6. As a man who believes that Jesus is the Son of God, came in the flesh, and died and rose again for all humanity I agree. I am open to those I come in contact with on a daily basis by my lifestyle that I love all that He has done for me. I am happy he is happy and thanking God. I dont know the mans heart and cant judge him personally. The problem I have is with the grandstanders in public and behind the pulpit that live contrary to what they preach . live it or shut up is my feeling.

Oops, you're right. One of two teams to do it. The Cowboys won Super Bowls 27, 28, and 30.

It's late and I'm too lazy to type Roman Numerals.

  8. Three Super Bowl wins in four years. No one else has done that. So, yes, they have to be considered a dynasty from 2001-2004.

However, since then the Pats* have had more than their share of playoff failures. The best night I ever saw on this board was five years ago, and we all know what that was.

Tom Brady is 36, Belichick is 60 and will be 61 before the season starts. I think the long, slow decline of the New England Patriots began tonight.

  9. This has been annoying me for several years now. With TV timeouts, video replays. Commercials after every score. Then one after the ensuing kick off. NFL games are indeed unwatchable.

If you think they are unwatchable at home, imagine being at the game. The last NFL game I went to was four years ago, and I noticed immediately when the TV timeouts were. There sure were a lot of them.

I know this is a post about paying for TV sporting events, but I wanted to note that.
