I remember in 1996, the Bills opened the season at the Giants on Sunday night. TNT had the game, and their opening lead in montage was "what if Norwood made it". They spliced together a bunch of video and audio from the Bills and that Super Bowl to make it look like the kick was good, complete with Norwood celebrating in victory and Van Miller exclaiming "..aaaaand the Bills have won it! The Bills have won the Super Bowl!!" It was simultaneously awesome and awful.
BTW the Bills rallied from down 20-7 to win 23-20 in OT that night.

Massachusetts does not have sports betting yet. Twin River Casino, which does offer sports gambling, is in Rhode Island.

Curious what the terms of his employment were. If he had a signed contract w/certain clauses, as opposed to an at-will employee, Russ could be in for a nice payday for less than a day's work.

Years ago a radio guy called and taped Buddy Nix talking on phone about needeing a QB, after calling him and pretending to be a NFL GM.
That loser got fired. What should happen to the fake texter?? Anything??
Maybe some rich agent like Don Yee can sue this fake texter loser and cost him a mega amount of money to defend. That is what that low life deserves. If I was Brady I would fund Don Lee to do that just out of spite. Maybe Borges could do the same to the texter.
The only person that should be fired is Borges for not vetting his sources properly before filing the story.

The Jags were not going to be able to attract Ron Rivera, Josh McDaniels, Mike McCarthy, or any other name / top-tier candidate to replace Marrone at this time.
So they're better off keeping the guy they already have under contract and see what candidates are available next year.
