Complaining about threads about punters, comparisons between current and former linebackers, and which Bills players could date my sister.  I don't like these hard hitting intellectual threads that really make me think.

I'd be happy to take that task if you want.  How does she look in a French maid outfit?

About as good as those who typically wear maid outfits in France nowadays.

He hasn't actually done much, if he was in the Bills doing this he would be labeled a below average QB.

Definitely not. TUA was going to get hype wherever he goes. And the eye test would quickly discern the latter. Even with what we’ve seen. Limited albeit.

But that's not the narrative we're hearing

    Exactly

Depends on where you consume your media, I mean Bill Cowherds literally this morning reiterated the same thing he hasn’t been asked to do much but then again who cares about the predictable media narrative, they flip flop so much and have no affect on our team. The only thing consistent with the media is there inconsistency

I wish Tua the best after all his adversity with injury and he seems to have a pretty pass, but I can't grasp the "Hot shot QB takes the league by storm" narrative about Tua here.

When you look at what he's done, he's had 3 starts.  He's passed for an average of 130 ypg, 63.6% completions, 0 INT.  The Dolphins have gifted him great field position with turnovers on D and ST play to achieve those 5 TDs he's passed for (and that's <2 TD/game)

When we had a QB who never threw INTs, had good completion %, but only threw for 130 ypg, the predominant notion was that he didn't generate enough offense.  And he was a run threat, which so far Tua is not.

It's good that he's not throwing the ball into harm's way, but it's not lighting the league on fire, either.

I think the narrative only makes sense in the league that he’s taking his first season in the league in so far, perfect stride. As its been said he hasn’t been asked to do much but he’s done pretty well with what they’ve told him to do. His team has been battling injuries on the offense and their WR core is pretty mediocre especially with their 2nd guy out on injury Preston Williams and he’s a JAG. His starting rb has been out for for the last 2 games and even their 2nd stringer rb was out recently. I think where he’s look most impressive is in the 4th quarter. Where in the last 2 games he’s looked as good as any QB in the league tbh. But the sample size is still far too small.

  4. Someone tell me why the Dolphins are signing vets to 1-year deals? They are not going deep into the playoffs. Ireland must be trying to save his job. This smacks of desperation.

Why would you offer someone a multiyear if he's just average and came off a injury missing half the season? By the way they offered him 2 years but keller chose a 1 year deal. So yeah
  5. Wheeler was a guy I really would have liked. Dolphins got a lot better today. Although Wheeler for Dansby may not really be an upgrade.

    Different kinds of players though.

wheeler is replacing the aging burnett and Ellerbe is replacing the aging dansby. It's an upgrade

  6. I'd love to know how a guy that averages 6.5 ypc and ranks in the top 10 in the league in rushing yards, despite having--on average--80 fewer carries than the other top 10 rushers in the league doesn't deserve it.

I mean, Ray Rice has fewer rushing yards than Spiller despite an additional 71 carries, but that was good enough to get him voted into the Pro Bowl.

Spiller got jobbed, way worse than either Byrd or Levitre.

I edited my post I though he meant SJ lol

  7. Too bad he wouldn't sign with the bills. Mario would have never been needed. His performance against Myyami was pitiful and made Kelsay's past play look HOF worthy. Mario may play up to his talent but he needs a GOOD team, and motiviation. The Bills as currently constructed can provide either.

He should be benched just based on last Sundays game. He quit.

I agree we have no leaders/motivators on this team, while williams is getting owned by some scrub RG on the dolphins that just started playing this season, wake is pressuring the QB while dragging our RG 10 yards with him and being held...

Actually Wake has drawn the most offensive holding for the last 2 years , he's a freaking beast. I honestly thought that Mario would have a year like aldon smith this year...

  8. Takes notes 100 million dollar man. A defensive end in your own division who also got paid last off season only that you got double the size of his contract and is 3 years older than you but with 3 years less of NFL experience than you made it to the pro bowl. That's right you guessed it, Cameron Wake...

  9. Wallace is out...not worth the price tag he wants.

Buffalo has proven it has the inability to throw deep balls which is what Wallace only does.

Welker doesnt solve the problem of speed and deep threat.

I would just go after Fitzgerald....

take a shot in UFAs...I wouldnt draft a WR in 1st or 2nd.

Um I would rather pay wallace 11 mil then start throwing picks away for a 30 year old with a ridiculous contract. If we do have problems with speed/deep threat like you said why wouldn't you get wallace. And wallace doesn't just always go deep if you actually believe that. Then there is also jennings/bowe

  10. I think Greg Jennings is the best talent out him, wallace, and bowe. Only question is his recent injuries but when he is healthy he is easily a top 10 WR in the league who can "put the team on his back". He easily has the most skill run great routes, great hands, experienced vet, does all he can to play for the ball when it is on the air/basically has the playmaker trait. Bowe is also the most physical big receiver of the 3 but his hands/work ethic is questionable. Wallace is the most youngest and the fastest, he's a huge deep threat but will we have the QB to go deep to him next year? I'm also 100% sure Miami will get 1 of these 3 so the FO should decide who to go for soon.

  11. The only thing Te'o has over those two is leadership, and that's an intangible trait. Brown is a better cover guy than Te'o, no question in my mind about that. A lot of Te'o's interception came off receiver hands or deflections. Very similar to Lavonte David, if you play in the Big 12 you better be able to cover and Brown can certainly do that. In ND's D Te'o doesn't really run down the seam with TE's, that's Danny Spond's job who is a much more athletic OLB.

Minter's an underrated player, no one really talks about him but he's LSU's best and most consistent defender. It doesn't mean Te'o's a bad player, but he isn't this transcended player some make him out to be. No question, he's a damn good leader, but you only take an inside LB top 5-10 if he's a Patrick Willis type athlete/talent, and Te'o isn't that.

Remember Rolando McClain, Te'o's a much better player than McClain in the run game but I'm not sure he's that much better in pass coverage.

Hawk's a good comparison, Te'o and Hawk are similar college players, would you take Hawk top 5? Probably not even though he's a solid NFL player. That's what I feel Te'o is, a solid player but not a guy you take top 5-10. Kuechly's a much better cover LB than Te'o as well, or was in the college.

I agree te'o along ND has been hyped all year long by ESPN, people comparing him to Ray lewis are on complete drugs they are no where near the same talent. He is one of the worst Linebackers I have ever seen try to shed blocks and this is at a COLLEGE LEVEL. He isn't even the best defender in his team and should be thankful for the D-line in front him. Espn does a good job hyping players come draft time can't wait...

  12. The answer to our problems aren't in other teams failures. Romo has been given all the tools necessary to succeed and has demonstrably not been able to take his team to the next level. Why would you want a QB like that for your team? Being a better QB than Fitzpatrick isn't enough.

What is that a WR that took while to develop because he's a mental head case, a garbage OL, a defense that chokes away games... You the tier after Romo is elite right? Do you really think it's easy to get an elite QB lket alone a QB like Romo? Their won't be a single QB in this draft that is elite, franchise worthy maybe but not elite. People need to stop watching ESPN.

This is one of those threads that make me believe that the product the Bills have put on the field the last 13 years has made Bills fans dumber. Anyone saying no needs to have their head examined.

Lmao this, you would think people would realize how hard it is to obtain franchise QBs.

  13. Unbelievable. This show the IQ of the average bills poster when they are saying no to tony romo. He's a top 10 QB easily better than anything we will get through FA or draft. People think too much of over hyped unclutchness the media has giving him when in reality he has played good from behind. I bet people think Eli is elite because of his "clutchness"
