  1. EJ is definitely having some ups and downs as you would expect a rookie, but it definitely seems like he has made plays that have not counted due to penalties and drops that weren't his fault. That probably happens with all QB's, but as a fan, its encouraging.

The pass to Chandler and Woods for the TD stand out. Both were very nice plays by EJ.

  2. According to early reports Stallworth was legally drunk and was reportedly under the influence of marijuana at the time of the accident;[21] news sources reported that his blood alcohol content was 0.12, over the nationwide legal limit of 0.08.[22][23] Stallworth claims that he flashed his car's headlights to warn Reyes before striking him.[24] A Miami Beach police report said Reyes was not in a crosswalk on the busy causeway when he was struck by the black 2005 Bentley Continental GT driven by Stallworth. Police estimated Stallworth was driving about 50 mph in a 40 mph zone.[25] The construction crane operator was trying to catch a bus home after finishing his shift around 7:15 a.m.

  3. People need to stop using Stallworth as an example, and start using Leonard Little instead. Stallworth did nothing wrong and went out of his way to take care of the person's family. Leonard Little killed someone while drunk, and then got hit for another DUI 5 years later.

Why stop using Stallworth as an example? He did nothing wrong besides drive while under the influence of alcohol and potentially marijuana and killed someone.

  4. How did I know you were gonna say that bout dmx...he was talking bout himself as a grand champ fool...I pet you didn't know his record label was called bloodline records cuz they were all comin from him THE GRAND CHAMP.. Know what ur talkin bout before you say it clown..and as for jay it was a video he also got shot in so I guess he susasidal ass well...don't let ur imaganation run wild buddy...and philster ur right bout phillips but I didn't want him...look at ricky he changed so did ray why can't mike is my question 2 you....

    Clown,

I pet you don't know how to spell.

DMX got busted for dog fighting. He had an album with a pit bull on the cover called the Grand Champ. Jayz had dog fighting in his video.

Its a different lifestyle, which was my point from the beginning.

Ur the expirt though, so maybe you can tell us all about who the record label is since that is very helpful info.

  5. I damn sure jay-z and dmx don't make songs bout dog fighting that's retarded...and philster you really hate vick I mean jeez its like you have something personal against him its scary you need to get that checked seriously...anyway the man paid his dues he was wrong but callin him a serial killer or the devil has got to be the stupidest thing...like I said before sign him and ill be the first in line to get a buffalo bills vick jersey...

So DMX has a CD called Grand Champ with pitbull on the front, who according to DMX is a 3 time champ, but I am sure he was just talking about a how he finished at a dog show.

The fact that Jay-Z is holding a dog in a fight pit in his video 99 problems, doesn't have anything to do with Dog Fighting.

  6. Please stop saying culture. It is not legal. Nothing to do with culture.

I don't want choir boys, but I sure as hell don't want a dog killing beast of humanity on the Bills either. Vick is garbage.

I didn't say it was legal. He did do his time though.

So no second chances? Someone commits a crime and actually serves the punishment, but can never be allowed to play football again?

He served a far greater punishment than most guys in the NFL who are out there committing crimes.

  7. Who committed a murder? The only person convicted of that is Rae Carruth and he's been out of the league for quite a while. As far as covering one up. For one thing, no one knows how much Ray Lewis really knew for sure. For another, as already pointed out, Lewis' misdemeanor conviction happened BEFORE GOODELL BECAME NFL COMMISSIONER! Try to keep up. Tags wasn't known for being really tough on troublemakers the way Goodell has been so far. The NFLPA would never allow him to go back and re-punish players that Tags already punished.

Vick IS the worst criminal in the NFL...he ran an organized crime ring for over 6 years..there could very well have been human deaths involved as well...no one knows for sure..but considering he stole family pets and tortured and slaughtered them, it certainly wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility.

Anyway, it's pretty well-known that a lot of serial killers started out the way Vick did...that scumbag got off easy and people could wind up paying for the fact that the prosecutors took it so easy on him

Thankfully, the commissioner seems to have a conscience and some common sense...he's leaning towards keeping that scumbag out of the NFL at least another year.

Leonard Little committed murder. I don't really care who was commissioner when Lewis and Little did what they did. I am talking about everyones viewpoints towards Vick.

He ran a dog fighting ring. He didn't kill people. It is well known that serial killers started off like Vick did????

    You are crazy.

It's a different culture. Vick probably didn't grow up collecting baseball cards like you did. He grew up in an inner city where dog fighting is more common. Jay-z and DMX even promote it in some of their songs.

I wonder who the families of the people killed by Leonard Little, Donte Stallworth and covered up by Ray Lewis, think is a worse person, Vick? No chance.

  8. He's a convicted felon...end of story

There's plenty of professions you can't get a job in after being convicted of felony. The NFL needs to be one of them. Goodell has been harder on troublemakers than the other commissioners...if he lets someone in the league who knowingly and willfully committed vicious crimes for over 6 years, it'll be hard to take him seriously again.

As far as Little and Lewis, for one, both their incidents happened before Goodell took over as NFL Commissioner. For another thing, Lewis was convicted of a misdemeanor and Little is guilty of killing someone because he wasn't thinking clearly and got behind the wheel while over the limit.

No one expects everyone in the NFL to be a choir boy but there needs to be limits...and anyone convicted of a vicious felony crime is over that limit.

So is committing murder and trying to cover up a murder not as bad as fighting dogs? It's human life we are talking about here. Vick is treated like the worst criminal in the NFL.

Vick paid a price and its time to let him play again.

  9. This is the NFL guys. It's not filled with a bunch of choir boys like people here would like to think.

He paid his due more than most guys in the league that do worse than him. He fought dogs and went to jail. It's not like he killed someone drunk driving (leonard little) or tried to conceal a murder of a person (ray lewis), etc. but he is the worst guy in the NFL. I like dogs and couldn't imagine fighting them, but I didn't grow up in that culture.

People seem to be leaving in a fantasy land sometimes.

  10. Not that the bills would of won, but they are not creating enough turnovers. The first two drives for the bears should have resulted in INT's. Kiwaukee dropped one and Ko dropped the second.

In the 3rd quarter Kiwaukee dropped another. That is major. If the bills stop the bears from scoring on their first two drives, it shakes their confidence and who knows.

Can't keep dropping these INT's. This team isn't good enough to not get those.

  11. Who was the Bear that we put an offer on as a Restricted Free Agent? The bears matched, but I looked at their depth chart and the names didn't look familiar.

I thought was was a DL, with a weird name.

Just curious if he is having any sort of impact...

  12. It seems like he is elusive enough and gains good yards. That was a very nice TD run.

Would keep the defense guessing and could pick up some 1st downs when our WR's seem to be blanketed.

It may force the D to start spying him, which may open up our TE or Willis out of the backfield.

I dont want to see him get hurt, or always run when someone doesn't get open right away, but it seems like there are plays to be had with his speed.

    What do you guys think?

  13. Holcomb isn't going to take this team to the Super Bowl and that is all that matters.

He has limited ability and reminds me of Bledose. He can look very good one game and look terrible the next. The Jets game was a joke. Some of those passes were tipped, but they were either thrown too low or too high and then tipped.

4 picks falls on the QB.

I am open for a QB competition as long as JP wins.

  14. Here is what I would do with this team. Let me know what you guys think...

    Quick Analysis:

Very week OL and DL. Starting to show age at LB and S.

Coaching hasn't been good, but would like to upgrade the talent at OL and DL before firing, unless a good prospect popped up. Maybe give Mularkey another year or so. Keep an eye on up and coming coordinators.

    Moves at end of season:

Offer Nate a decent contract. Not in the range of Bailey, but maybe in the range of lucas or a. henry. He is a good corner, but hasn't had much help with our DL and getting pressure. Could be some scheme issues too with coaching and constant blitzes.

If he doesn't take it, try to franchise and trade him for a #1. If we had McGee and King as our starting CB's that would be big trouble, so would have to try and draft a CB with that #1 pick. If no offers for a #1, keep the franchise tag on him.

Need to address the OL and DL via the draft and FA. Try to get LeCharles Bentley and or Hutchinson. Have to shore up the middle of the OL and then work our way out to LT via the draft.

Try to get MW to take a pay cut or re-work his contract. With Hutch and or Bently to go along with Preston/Villareal, MW and possibly a LT or Gandy via the draft, might not be a bad OL.

Since OL will be addressed via FA, try to draft DT with the first pick or two.

Any of the following positions should be addressed via the draft: DT, OL, LB, S, CB, WR.

  15. I can understand portis and bailey being on the list, but not vick.

Spikes worse than Urlacher and Al Wilson???  :)

urlacher is overrated, and i don't understand shockey being on that list either as i can think of 40 players better than him (that are listed behind him or not listed) and probably two or three more at his position alone (Especially Alge Crumpler)

    354047[/snapback]

If you polled players in the league, Vick would definitely be in the top 50, probably top 10.

  16. This is just kind of an off the wall question, and I am not saying that they should have done anything different, but do you guys think Donahoe would have traded up to get Losman if he knew what kind of year Drew and the Bills would have?

It seems like it was an urgent move because of how bad drew did last year, but would he have made such a move if Drew played like he has so far this year?

Just wondering what you guys think?

    Go Bills.
