  2. Just stop. The Bills are by far the worst organization in the NFL. Oakland has actually won a SuperBowl. They have been to the playoffs much more recently than the Bills. Our FO decisions for the last 15 years are as bad as any including Oakland, Cleveland, Washington, and Detroit.

    So please don't throw stones.

Oh yes Al Davis had a plan after he died to keep the team in the family and in Oakland.

When RW dies the Bills will be gone...

Look in the mirror, we would be lucky to have the Raiders history and their future...

Go pee in someone elses cheerios. We need this.

  3. Easy answer is that NO ONE else averages anything against him. It's quirky to say the least. Revis handles some bigger AND faster guys better, but Stevie gets his catches and yards. If you think 70 yards and scores are easy, that's up to your opinion. If you look at the actual numbers, Stevie is an outlier statistically.

You're making my point for me. I wish the Bills had a corner so good that when he gives up 70 yards once or twice a year that it was considered he got owned.

You also need to remember that Stevie did this with a veteran QB that he had developed considerable chemistry with. Now he's got a 2nd year guy with 10 starts under his belt throwing him the ball. Stevie's game is much different than most receivers due to his route running. Look at the KC INT reception last year to see what happens when Stevie's route is so good and unpredictable with an inexperienced QB throwing the ball. Say what you will about Fitz, but if he's the QB in that game he hits a wide open Stevie for the TD and the Bills win.

Point is there's no guarantee Stevie can "own" Revis next year to the tune of 70 yards. Any Bills fan that doesn't think this makes the Pats much harder to beat with or without Stevie is delusional.

  4. Why do Bills fans talk like Stevie owns Revis. Stevie averages like 70 yards a game against him. Better than most against Revis, but is that really owning a guy? Revis is basically so good that a WR who can put together a few average games against him "owns" him. This signing sucks any way you look at it. I hate the fuggin Pats with irrational intensity. This makes it harder to beat them. Something the Bills have done twice in Tom Brady's career.

  5. I wholeheartedly believe that the Browns and Jags were created to make Bills Fans and Players feel better about themselves and their team...looks like the Fins have officially joined that list as well.

All three of those teams have made the playoffs in the last 14 years. We are the team those fans look to in order to feel better about their situation. Not the other way around.

  6. As soon as you flip Glenn to RT, it another two years or so when his contract is up, he will bolt. He's proven he can play LT so will want to be paid as one. So unless you're willing to pay Glenn LT money to play RT, he will leave, I promise you that, he's not stupid. So then we'll be having another discussion on drafting a someone to play RT.

Any likely someone will suggest moving the current LT to RT!

Another good point. I think I'll just hope that Robinson or Matthews is there.

  7. About a year ago, I decided I was too fat and decided to get in shape. I changed my diet completely and started the P90x DVD program. After the first few workouts, there was much pain. The fourth day, I got to the yoga workout and thought, "Thank God, a break. This'll be easy." About ten minutes in I knew I had made a horrible mistake. It was the only workout I didn't get through entirely that first week. A year later, I've changed up my workout routine, but still do Yoga once a week and I hate it every time.

  8. If a guy can't play right tackle, what the he!! do we want him for?

Glenn is playing well and it makes little sense to move him out right for a rookie. I'd rather have a solid swing tackle who can play both as insurance in case Glenn is unaffordable someday or injury happens as well as get some mobility and edge setting on the other side to make spiller more effective. I feel like all his long runs were to Glenn's side.

Once you do that see about moving Hairston to guard...

I want to see the o line as the strength of the team

You make good points, but my thinking is While Glenn certainly has played well at LT, he's actually more suited to RT. And Lewan probably could play RT, but he's more suited for LT. With just Glenn on the team it made sense for him to play LT because he was so much better than the alternative. Add Lewan and that's no longer the case.

  9. I agree. If AJ McCarron is on the board in the 4th, we HAVE to take him. I might even consider drafting him in the 3rd. I haven't given up hope on EJ yet, but a little competition doesn't hurt.

As far as the need for a linebacker goes, what other reason is there that our run D is so bad? We have a great front four. Lawson and Kiko are good. Why do we struggle there? Is it because our offense can't sustain long drives? Is it personnel? Both?

I can't imagine its the linebackers. Kiko was phenomenal in run support for the bulk of the year. He got out of position a few times and gave up some huge runs but overall he was great and, with experience, will certainly fix some of the issues with giving up the big play. Manny was solid too. Can't really put it on him. Is adding another LB that might get 20% of the snaps the answer? I think it was more of a scheme issue and allowing the big play far too often. But then again, I'm just a long suffering fan and have very little technical knowledge of scheme.

  10. I like it for the most part. I'd love to get Robinson or Matthews to solidify the line and agree that if Lewan was the pick we'd be fools not to put him at LT and flip Glenn to RT. One thing I would do differently would be to draft a QB by the third round. I have absolutely no faith in EJ and this team has got to find a QB for Gods sake. Don't get me wrong, I still hope EJ will be the guy but I think the team needs to hedge a bit.

One more thought. Why am I seeing such an interest in acquiring an LB this off season? In today's NFL a defense will rarely have three LB's on the field and we've already got Kiko and Lawson. Seems to me the team has much greater needs than LB.

  11. Probably nothing, which is why he said he's going to have to get ready fast. I'm guessing he's the only option, unless they sign someone like Naaman.

Simon asked this of Chan, Chan claimed you have to weigh who is less ready, a young player or a guy who knows nothing of your system.

It may be a crazy thought, but isn't Roscoe Parrish out there? Knows the system, was our slot receiver and looked good in Chan's system. Of course, he'd probably get hurt in the first quarter...

  12. So players can't improve? Look, we're talking about a receiver who will only enter the game on offense if something devastating happens, but can contribute regularly on ST. It's really no surprise at all.

I will concede the point on special teams. It's obvious that's why he is back. As for the possibility of his improvement as a WR? Not gonna happen. He has bounced around the league for a few years now. He's a veteran, not an up and comer. He is what he is. A solid gunner with hands of stone and absolutely no game breaking ability. I guess I was just hoping for a WR with the potential to make our WR corp better.
