  1. With virtually every service (phone, internet, cable), package/tier, etc. that TWC offers increasing in price, has anyone had any luck with getting them to reduce these by threatening to leave, etc.? I remember a DTV thread on here about the sunday ticket that outlined a way to get DTV to drop the price significantly. Thanks in advance.

  2. Its real convenient for the NCAA and BCS that they're avoiding a TCU vs Oregon National Championship with this rushed decision; then in 2 years there will be "new Information" that will lead to Auburn vacating the SEC championship and National Championship.

Does the NCAA and BCS have to vacate all the checks they cashed because people want to watch Cam Newton play?

That would be true except for the fact that the Gamecocks are going to take it to them on saturday and thus remove auburn from the national championship game... GO COCKS!!!!

  3. Chris Johnson...

Some people here need to make up their minds. Was it the coaching or the players? Maybe new coaches get more out of the current crop? If it was the players - why was everyone crying over Jauron?

They selected an impact player for a scheme that has yet to be revealed. Let them show their cards before you condemn them.

Good post. Saw alot of Spiller here in SC. He is a stud, seems to have a good head on his shoulders and now he is a Bill. Our FO has a plan and they got the guy they wanted. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. As I said in another thread, if these morons trade Roscoe and his 30 yards of instant field position so that they can keep Justin Jenkins and save a few million bucks, they deserve the failure that will result. As bad as the offense has been the last few years, just imagine how much worse it would've been if Roscoe wasn't setting up great starting field position. And the notion of freeing up money to extend McGee is absurd, we have depth at CB.

    what he said...

  5. My complaint is that you don't necessarily go from 3 channels to 10. I went from 4 or 5 channels that I could see with varying levels of clarity over analog to 2 channels (abc and cbs) via digital- those have to be adjusted quite often, too. I also got one of those "new" antennas that are supposed to be vastly superior to the rabbit ears and i got zero channels. If you live in the sticks, digital isn't that great of an advancement...

  6. I got it in the mail on Saturday. I wanted it to be "Appetite 2". It definitely isn't that. In fact, I don't think there is a single song on it that would have made the cut for Appetite. That being said, I am listening to it right now for my 2nd listen at work. It is growing on me and I hope that I like it more than I did the 1st time. My wife thinks it sucks. I wanted alot more screaming and anger, but instead got alot of love/broken heart songs. I also think I made the mistake of reading the lyrics while I listened the first time. I find when I do that, I focus too much on knowing what is being said rather than just listening to the song. I still dig Axl's voice- I just wish there was more of an edge to the album and lyrics.... Maybe after the 3rd time?

Alright, it has been a while since I posted this. I must admit that the album has grown on me and I like most of it. IRS has an edge to it that is reminiscent to the old guns. Most of the other tunes are good, too. I guess I went into it expecting one thing, didn't get it and was intially turned off by it. I dig it now. It's kind of like the Bills season... I went in expecting to kick a$$, we did, then we took a massive nosedive, now I am miserable.... wait, it's nothing like that. Dammit! Go Bills!!!! (and give Axl a listen if you haven't) cheers.....

  7. My gf left in the thrid qtr of today's game to run a few errands before dinner at my parents - she came back with the new GNR album. I am curious to see who else either has it or listened to it on MySpace...

I am not sure what to say...at first I was wating for something like the old GNR, I saw that an orchestra was used on many tracks - I expected November Rain...

This is just different...The music is wow...all over the place...It isn't GNR as we knew it...it is refreshing, updated, the guitar playing is not Slash-type rock-n-roll...I hear Joe Satriani type playing...It's a great album, just not the GNR we know...

The new Metallica album, I knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed. This GNR album, I didn't know what to expect - not this...it is different

  8. Does ESPN.com have a live feed of the MNF games? I am one of 12 people in the free world that is using rabbit ears, but I do have internet! I can go to friends/families houses to watch the game, but was considering watching at home on the laptop if possible. Thanks for any info and GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Jaguars are good

    Rams beat the almighty Cowboys

    Chargers destroyed the Patriots

To all those who doubt the Bills are a good (GOOD) team....

    F YOU, F YOU.....YOU're COOL...F YOU!!!!

The 600 NYC Bills fans only heard half the game, but DANCED (danced I tell you) on every score!!!

    HEY AY HEY AY!!!!

Nice half-baked reference..... GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. I take it with me on my mp3 player and portable speakers wherever I watch the game and play it loud after every Bills Touchdown. It is also my ringtone. I have the version that starts out with Berman and ends with Levy. That being said, I obviously love it and don't want it to change. Oh yeah, we all dance like fools while it plays and LOVE every minute of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's go Buffalo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:lol::worthy:

  11. In regards to the TBD "swim off" - a post which does not appear when I click through the thread, may be PhilBills blocked me?- I would also like to add to my list of aquatic accomplishments that I finished 3rd in the under 10 division of the 1994 Canal Fest Intertube Race in North Tonawanda.

Not sure what you are talking about. No blockage here. Maybe you blocked me. Oh yeah, I got 3rd place in the city meet in 50m breast stroke when I was 16. Watch out Phelps!

  12. Get a GPS unit and USE it. Take spare spark plugs and various tools with you in your boat box. Always have enough PFDs for everyone on board for safety and to avoid an unpleasant visit with law enforcement. Get a dry bag so all your electronics aren't shot if rain creeps up on you. PUT THE PLUGS IN BEFORE YOU PUT THE BOAT IN THE WATER. Get your fishing license, fill the cooler with beer and have a blast!
