  1. I was a big watcher of first "Mike & Mike" then later with "Golic & Wingo", Enjoyed the shows very much but when they let Golic go, promoted Greenburg, and changed hosts the network lost me. I was wondering if anyone watches and have you seen how the ratings are. I can't believe for the life of me how Greenburg  has a prominent role on the network.

Also what pregame show do most people watch? Can't stomach Rex, I mainly watch CBS NFL Today.

    Thanks!

  2. As I was reading this thread I am thinking of using Youtube TV. Does anyone use this? Does it buffer much? I am moving to a new town and since Dish is fighting with Nexstar I lost my local CBS (WIVB Buffalo) so I am thinking cable or Youtube.

To answer an earlier question (forgive me that I didn't respond to that post) Tegna systems are in dispute with Direct TV Network. They own a number of stations across the country and they can be of different networks, depending on your location. Same with Nexstar and Dish, many markets in the country. The fight is not the locals but the big boss who is being greedy especially this time of year.

I have enjoyed reading fans'' recommendations for viewing the Sunday game.

  3. Just sad to see how ESPN has sunk. Loved Berman and Jackson with their highlight show. Loved Countdown. But I can't stand it when they put Rex on there. I have been watching the network less and less. Letting Golic go and now Wingo, I don't understand what the powers have done with this......I am wondering why they shove Mina Kimes down our throat. I haven't made up my mind about her.....curious what others think of her......like some input..

  4. ESPN knows how to screw itself up. They pay big money to big mouths and messes up what folks like. For instance, changing the radio shows. I loved Golic and Wingo. They lost me when they changed their crew. Golic was I realized who I was listening to. It certainly wasn't Mike Greenberg. Did anyone listen to Greeny's show today? I about gagged when he talked about what he would have for his Master's dinner. One Buffalo wing you must eat with a knife and fork????? Did I hear that right???!!! And he throws shade at others choices...I vowed not to listen to him and I haven't watched his morning show.

I have been enjoying NFL Networks GMFB. Nice set of characters just having fun. Like ESPN use to be....

  5. In listening to all the preseason opinions (and we must remember they are opinions, not facts), it is nice to hear good thoughts about the Bills. I rather like being under the radar and am looking forward to those who have high hopes on the Browns and the Jets. Really??? Jets with Adam Gase as coach and GM???? I just don't see it. And the Browns with someone who has not been a head coach anywhere? Maybe I will be the fool but I will be the first to say, 'Boy I was wrong.'

  6. You folks said the things I was thinking of. I was always rooting for Tyrod but there comes a time to move on. You would think that the playoff game would have proven that to the "experts".

    Thanks for your input!

  7. Was watching Golic and Wingo this morning and the substitutes were doing their predictions for the year and I just wonder if do they just look at stats or do you think they actually watch the games. I thought this yesterday when they were gushing about Tyrod. Now I believe the Bills may take a step back as Beane and McDermott make the team more in what they envision but seeing what they did last year I thought they should get props....

    Go Bills!

  8. Pegula also stated that money has just been used to work on the stadium. In my mind that is important. He will want public money to help with the downtown stadium and you don't want to seem what has been spent to go for naught. Florio just likes to seem important. I don't follow him. Always seems that he has his nose in the air like he is important.

  9. I just listened to the beginning of the podcast and they were advocating Bills fans to be patient, that the roster was not that talented, etc. But they don't mention Whaley, just that it was not fair to Rex. My thoughts were not every reporter is going to know everything about every team but a little research should have brought up the performance of the front office, GM in particular.

Interested to hear other thoughts from listening to the podcast.

  10. Thank you for your service to the board. My one complaint and I don't know how one goes about to solve it is people standing throughout most of the game. The Buffalo News had an article in last week talking about how some folks are getting tired of standing. I don't mind when it is exciting parts of the game, like going into the red zone, making a defensive stand, etc. I am on the short side and with fans standing it is becoming more difficult for me to justify spending money when I have to stand on my tip toes and look for an opening most of the game.

Had to vent a bit here.....thanks for listening!
