  1. Your confusing history with pessimism. What is the bills record the last 10 games ? Who was president the last time we made the payoffs...do you remember what millineum it was in? How many poor seasons have we suffered through???

I love the bills but with as high as the expectations were this year and how bad things have been for so long that if this season is anything like week 1 it will get real ugly fast

And I agree, all fans have suffered, but for everyone to just be throwing in the towel after one game is ridiculous! If we're having this same debate in 6 weeks, I'll be right there with you. For the love of God give them a chance first! One week is hardly a chance!

  2. Instead of a paper bag use a plastic bag and make sure you tie the handles real tight, you don't want any air getting in.

Couldn't have said it better. What would be even better is if all these pessimists would stop starting BS topics like this and go away. Of course they would be the first one's back raving how Fitz is amazing and Chan is the best coach if we went on a streak.

  3. Fitz has been in the league 7 years - he has had plenty of time to be better than he was today and for the alst 12 games

Besides, if a late round pick sucks as a rookie he wil lprob never amount to anything. Times have changed for high picks, Barkley will prob be a star from day 1 just like Luck RG3 Newton etc.

You clearly don't watch USC football and you know Barkley by name only. Yesterday against SU, 90% of his opasses were less than five yard WR screens. He has a great groupr of WR's that give him the gaudy numbers. He's nothing special, and couldn't hold RG3 or Luck's jock strap.

  4. Was anyone watching the same game as me? yea he sucked for the first40 mins of them game. Then he showed up and made the game interesting. I'm with Captain Hindsight on this, he can be good, just VERY in consistent. And anyone who thinks Barkley is the answer doesn't watch USC games, all he does is WR screens, he's trash, Trent Edwards 2.0. Maybe you negative nancys should find another football team to follow?

  5. sure why not

just seems the better player you are the less likely you end up a coach

so for this seasons sake i hope he never coaches

Always an exception to the rule my friend! Dick Lebeau is a great DC for the Steelers and a HOF player. Jim Harbaugh was a pretty average QB, but is a great coach. His predecessor Mike Singletary was a great defensive HC, basically built that current monster D.

  6. I watched both. Most importantly, when fitz was asked about the difference between all the cities he has played in, he responded with the fans here in buffalo are the greatest and its like a college atmosphere which is always great to hear! I hope all the bills fans on here are as giddish as i am to start the season and screaming our lounges out at the Ralph every home game!

    GO BILLS!

It IS a college atmosphere. Look no further than the tailgating and immaturity, and I love and partake in it myself. At least half of the 70,000 plus at the Ralph is tanked, and everyone has a great time. Love the atmosphere!

  7. back in the late 80's when i was living in dc i decided to combine a vacation to wny with a stopoff at cleveland to see the bills play. so on my way back to dc sunday morning i flew into cleveland, put my carry-on into a locker, and headed to clev stadium, with a scheduled flight to head back to dc in the evening

without a ticket, i intended to just scalp one outside so i made sure my bills shirt was covered up and stuffed my hat in my pocket to reduce the resistance i might get. there was reports of fake tickets being a problem there and there werent many scalpers, then somebody told me the game wasnt even sold out, so i figured i might cut the hassle and just go that route

i found a ticket booth closer to the back of the stadium and there was no line. the ticket clerk was a very friendly young man and we chatted for quite a while about a variety of topics while i was still deciding whether to scalp or not. i finally revealed to him that i was a bills fan and i was there by myself and i was mildly worried about getting ripped off by a scalper, so he said he would gladly take care of me and get me a seat i would like. he was so nice and professional i just decided to end the hunt and go for that

it was pretty close to game time as i made my way through the stadium. sure enough, as i got closer to the section it appeared like it was a decent angle to the field, a nice height to catch game action, so i was excited as i counted down the steps to get to my row. it was in the middle of a section so i politely made my way to the center of the row, sat down, and started laughing my ass off

directly in front of me was a steel beam that completely cut off all but two little slivers of the field on either side. if you wanted to see anything you would have to lean over until you were essentially cheek to cheek with one of the people sitting next to you. scrawled on the beam were comments like 'why is there even a frikken seat here?' and 'i cant see ѕhit'

after cackling hysterically for about five minutes i got up and started looking for a seat. the game had started and the stadium had filled right up, and there was nothing around me available so i headed for the endzones figuring that was my best chance. i finally found a seat right next to a guy and his about eight year old son attending their first game together. although the bills lost, i had an awesome time sharing that norman rockwell father and son experience. and of course i still chuckle when i see that huge steel beam in my mind and think of how gleeful that ticket clerk must have been when he told that story to his friends

Funny story! That happened at a concert I went to at the NY state fair. Good thing no usher asked for your stub and no one blew you in.
