  1. I just watched the Whaley/Floyd video. It is funny how both Whaley and Nix shirk out of that question big-time, and punt it to Cook. Who then gives a very generic answer. Dont know what to make of it though

    Video http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Whaley-and-Cook-on-WR-depth-Floyd-and-Hill/45d1470f-67ea-41f7-aa6c-415c2cff5ef5

Yeah I thought it was kinda suspicious, I'm guessing that based off that presser and what Nix has said about Keuchly (can play all 3 lb positions), it's gonna be either floyd or keuchly

No, I just noticed that myself and that's why I'm jumping back on the board and that is to ask the exact same question. Furthermore did you see how he passed the hot potato to Buddy and he didn't want anything to do with it??!!! I found that whole interview VERY interesting!

Yeah I saw that too, Nix also finished off by saying they want to draft a "difference" maker, or "playmaker", at #10. My guess is that he is referring to Keuchly and Floyd.

  2. The only bigger need is LT and it's close as to which position is needed more. Fitz needs blocking, no doubt, but he also needs talented Wrs. We currently have 1 IMO. Nelson is ok, but I consider him an average 3/good 4 wr

I know, our needs probly go OT, WR, LB/CB but i just don't think Floyd fits the value of the #10 pick, thats just my opinion i hope he turns out to be good but i think OT Glenn is versatile and could be very helpful for the future of our o-line. He plays both OT and OG, and everyone knows we need depth across our line.

If we don't draft a high profile WR, I predict Easley will prove to be our primary WR. by week 6.

I completely agree. I really see something in Easley and think he's gonna be a very good player for us.

  3. Ill be honest all of them suck. Mercilius won't be there, I want a w.r in the 1st 2 rounds and you don't have any clue what peoples actual values are. If we want a w.r to have an impact day one it needs to be a 1st or 2nd rounder.

And I suppose you know everything? What I'd love to know is how you know for a fact that they all suck if nobody in the world knows which players are gonna turn out in the NFL. But hey, apparently you somehow know they already suck. Next time don't post if you don't know what you're talkin about.

  4. The ideal situation would be to find a team in the #15-#20 range that could trade with us. Hopefully we pick up another 2nd rounder and maybe some late round picks. With our 1st round pick then, we select OT Cordy Glenn. Then, trade up into the end of rd 1 or early rd 2 and select DE Whitney Mercilus. Then, in the 3rd round select WR Brian Quick.

    OR

If nobody is willing to trade with us we still select OT Cordy Glenn, this time with our #10 pick. Then in the 2nd round select the best CB available. Follow that up by selecting Brian Quick in the 3rd.

    OR

Select OG David Decastro at #10, best available OT in rd 2 (Mike Adams?), and CB or WR in rd 3.

AND top all that off by selecting QB Russell Wilson with either or second 4th rd pick or 5th rd pick(I know ppl doubt this kid but if nothing else he could become a solid backup and serve as better insurance than Thigpen who I am not a fan of at all. Wilson has all the tools and just lacks height, but I think he makes up for it with arm strength, accuracy, and his abilities to make plays.

BTW, I'm not sure we should spend our #10 pick on Floyd, it just doesn't make sense with such a deep WR class and us having bigger needs. I just think we can effectively address this later on.

  5. I was just listening to NFL radio and they mentioned something about the Vikings may be looking to trade J. Allen. Do you think they would take a 4th rounder for him or maybe a third since we have 2 4th rounders? Could you imagine that line Mario, Dareus, Kyle, and Jared wow!!

Are you moronic?? 3rd or 4th rounders for the best DE in the league. I'd visit doc. Do you really think they'd give up the league's sack leader for a potential back up ST player? You're dreamin dude, maybe a 1st and a 2nd, lay off the bottle. Maybe the Bills should trade Dareus and the whole d@#$ team for two 5th rounders, ey?

  6. Nick perry combine measurements and work out.

They had him down as strength being one of his weaknesses. he showed them by putting up 35 reps of 225. extreme explosion with a 10'4" broad jump and 38.5 inch vert for a guy that weighs in at 271 lbs. he also has long arms 33". best combo of size and speed and strength. This work out just moved him to my top DE.

The more I think about it, the more I want to draft him at #10 as well.

  7. Poor showing at the combine. 5.09 sec 40, 30.0 in vert, 104.0 in broad jump at 6'1" 248 lbs. Do people still want him with our #41 pick? I just can't see him coming to Buffalo, especially with his character issues, not the kind of guy Nix likes. It seems like this FO wants a guy who knows how to carry themselves not just on the field, but off the field as well.

  8. Just to remind everyone. Everything said before the draft is either a lie, or it's not.

Couldn't agree more, i don't beleive it until draft night...people take these things too seriously, of course he's not gonna just come out and tell everybody the truth about who they like and don't like.

  9. That's the guy I want.

Yeah, he looks convincing. Ive got faith in Nix and i think that if he believes Perry can produce at the next level, then he'll grab him. Who knows what's gonna happen on draft night, but im mildly impressed with this guy's work at the combine.

  10. Put up some great numbers at the combine(4.64 sec 40,38.5 in vert,124.0 in broad jump), haven't had a chance to watch a lot of film on this guy yet. Wondering if anybody believes he could be an option for us at #10. Measured in at 6'3" and 271 lbs. Again, haven't seen him a ton, so please share what you've seen.

  11. I know the smart thing to do would be to select the BPA a #10 and continue to add solid players to our roster. Trading back from #10 could give us another 2nd rd pick, but im not sure if there is anybody that could be of value to another team at #10. We could go BPA with the traded pick and draft a DE and possibly WR with our 2nd rd picks. BUT what if we sacrificed our #10 pick, 2013 and 2014 1st rd picks to acquire RGIII. I know many of you believe this would set us back rather than improve our overall team, but when a prospect like Griffin III comes along, i think you have to do what it takes to get him. There will still be talent in the 2nd rd and beyond and we would finally have our QB of the future. We could trade Fitz or let him go and free up a lot of cap space for a top free agent DE. I know a lot of you will say im crazy, and i know it probably won't happen, but could you imagine our offense with RGIII, Freddie, Spiller, Stevie, and whatever other weapons we might add(maybe Easley comes along for us or we draft a wr in rd 2). Our offense would be INSANE!!

  13. Where is Michael Floyd?

Trade Back is the sane thing to do, but its not really a reality because there really isn't a individual talent that another team would trade up for.

Do you really think they will draft a receiver with their 1st rd pick, especially since the stevie deal is looking like it might happen in the next week or so?
