  1. Here's what I would do in regards to our RB situation :

    07 season : Re-Sign A-Train (2nd rounder 2001) + Sign Chris Brown (3rd rounder 2003)

    Let them share the load at RB with the best of FJackson or SWilliams

    08 draft : you go there for your blue-chip RB

    This gives us all the flexibility that we need to address the defense this year...

    Just my 0,02$

  2. If a trade with PHI was to happen, here's how I see it :

    Going along with the scenario that we trade with Chicago (26 (700) for 42+73 (705))... I don't feel good about not having a 2nd round pick... so, here is another scenario involving PHI :

    BUF gets : 14 (1100) + 45 (450) = 1550

    PHI gets : 8 (1400) + 105 (84) + 134 (39) = 1523

    At this point BUF has : 14, 26, 45, 70

    @14: Eric Winston, OT

    @26: Davin Joseph, OG

    @45: John McCargo, DT

    @70: Rod Wright, DT

    That way, we adress the lines on day 1, and look for sleepers on day 2 with picks 143, 178, 216, 248.

  4. Huff seems to be a consensus top 10 pick and although he might have some weaknesses in his play (which rookie doesn't?), I believe he is well worth the #8 pick in this draft.

    I see Huff as NC's replacement and the Bills adressing their safety needs in the 3rd (while Bowens/Wire playing the SS position)

  5. Let's assume for a second that the Bills are faced with the fact that Nate Clements must be traded (for whatever reasons...)...

    Would you go for something like this :

    Trade NC to KC for their #1 pick (20th)...

    Then take Huff @ 8, Eric Winston @ 20

    2nd round : Best DT/OG available

    3rd round : a) Best safety available & b) Best DT/OG available depending on what has been done with the 2nd round pick...

    Imho, that would be a fantastic 1st day!

  8. With Moulds probably leaving, here are 3 WRs I wouldn't mind seeing in Buffalo... not to replace Moulds as a #1 WR but to complement what we already have...

    Reche Caldwell 6'0" 194

    Randy Hymes 6'3" 211 (Big possesion type)

    Marc Boerigter 6'3" 225 (Big possesion type)

    Everyone is young with 4 years in the league, each one has done something with their respective teams... Nothing flashy but young hungry guys looking for an opportunity...
