1. As long as idiots continue to buy tickets and sell out the Ralph, TD's job will be secure.

No- supporting the franchise is good for the community. Tampa Bay was #1 in the NFL in ticket sales and merchandise, and they still realized they needed to win- and they did.

THEY BROUGHT IN AN EXPERIENCED COACH. Look at the score, it is all because Donahoe will not bring in a coach with nuts. The old saying is crap rolls downhill- well in this case it should run uphill, all the way to the top.

  2. Jimmy Johnson comes here.....A lot of us wont be.

    508046

If we are winning you would. Donahoe and the wimp coaching experiment has to end.

We need a coach with control over the organization. Not to take a tip from the Stones -"under my thumb'" power to the coach..... With head coaching experience... Superbowl experience. Not ahhhh.... I think this guy might make a good coach.

  3. I agree,  he has to get hot.

My big worry is this:  all the reporting this past week about how he played angry,  had a chip on his shoulder,  a man with a mission and all that worries me greatly.  In my experience the way to make anger work for you is to quietly do something about it.  When you discuss it in public as has been done all week then it becomes a crutch instead of a lever.  Saying over and over that you're mad as heck and am going to play lights out because of it,  is a good predictor that you are not.

I say whatever got his ass motivated enough to come out and throw back to back end-zone darts- is fine by me...

  4. They have to come out screaming hot in the passing game to get the respect. Losman has alot on the line today, both professional and personal. For some reason the Bills and Losman are getting no respect- like last week never happened. The way Losman not only threw precision passes, but the way he conducted himself in the pocket was amazing. Nobody was gonna rattle his cage. I can't wait for 4:15, and hope he does indeed pass for 300 yards and get the attention of the media. I for one think that quater of football clinic that he put on was no fluke. I guess we will all know around 7pm.

Kick ass and take names- the defense responds to the offense.

  5. Run Run Run and then Run the ball more and CONTROL the clock!

We must keep the ball away from the KC offense and play decent defense.

Pretty basic stuff I know.

It's the red zone that is killing them. Buffalo has done a great job of clock management and ball control. But 3 points at the end of an 8 minute drive won't cut it. And there's not even a guarantee of 3 points, even though Lindell is playing well.

  6. Man oh man.  People yelled when it was mentioned. "Just Say No" to Corey Simon, my ass.  I would have loved this, but alas, inept front office leaves us with glaring holes.

    501081

TD laughed it off, and now Corey Simon is laughing all the way to the Superbowl.

The Kool-Aid King convinced everyone that the 2nd rated NFL Defense had no need for a

Veteran Run stuffer. We have Ron Edwards.

  7. looks like it comes down to anderson, bannan, and the sapester.  perhaps some denney here and there.  i saw several days coming like this last spring when we let pat walk and did not bring in a suitable replacement... that alone demonstrates a critical lack of fundamental football knowledge on the part of our much celebrated and highly esteemed front office.

the good news is roaf is likely out, and, of course, their is no priest this sunday.

both defenses basically stink, but the chiefs have some semblance of an offense.

too close to call today, but the chiefs seem to find ways to win and the bills find new and creative ways to lose every week.

Exactly. Donahoe is the Devil. I just wish Ralph could see the horns.

  8. Source: NBC Affiliate in KC [ Full Article ]

At 10 PM Central NBC News led off with a story about news on RB Priest Holmes. Jack Harry, Sports Director for that station reported that he spoke with two higher sources within the Chiefs organization and they have said that Priest Holmes indeed may retire as early as tomorrow. In Florida today, Holmes was getting a 3rd opinion on the hit he took from SD DE Shawn Merriman two weeks ago. Apparently what has been found is a lump on or within Priest's spine and if he were to take one more big hit, he could face paralysis.

Sorry to hear that- he is a class act and great talent. Unfortunately for us Larry Brown is a hell of a back.

  9. I bet you are glued to the TV pulling for a Chargers, Falcons and Colts win this weekend, right?

    Thought so.

    Go BILLS

    496241

Right. I thought Holcomb was capable of throwing for more than 5 yards a pop.

The ball control and clock control is great- as long as you can score td's in the red zone.

I really, really hate to say this, but I could go for a Bledsoe to Evans Bomb right about now............
