Been there, done that. Marshawn Lynch for what became Chris Hairston and Tank Carder. I didn't blame the Bills for the trade at the time, considering Lynch's potential for finding trouble off the field. He wasn't as effective for the Bills as he has been for the Seahawks. Those are the gambles you take. Win some - lose some.

Maybe they let him get the majority of the 1st team reps in order to see if he improve or do something different then what they already know. Guess he didn't show much, but EJ did......(if thats the case). I think EJ shouldn't be cut because he has shown at least some progression this year.

Rex Ryan said Ty Powell has a possible ACL injury. Fear is that it's of the season ending variety.
Man, we seem to be thin at LB already. Feel really bad for him after reading articles about him finally finding his true position. Two strong backups now gone for the year.....ouch.

We all thought that our defensive line was going to be dominant. With Kyle Williams, Dareus, and Mario. However. The defensive line didn't live up to the hype, I think this was due to our defensive coaching. I believe that this year, with the defensive coordinator who has had proven success in the NFL, we will find out the true potential and ability of Dareus. This year will determine if he was the top 5 pick we all thought he would be, or just another addition to the long list of draft bust's picked by the Buffalo Bills.

Answer: It's a tie - they're both subpar.
It's a Tie, neither of them have played a single NFL game yet.

I love speculation. I am all for Pettine being the DC. However, we will soon find out who really ran the Jets defense, if Pettine was a product of Rex Ryan success, or in fact Pettine was the reason for the Jets defense being so good.
Remember just a year ago how excited we were that "Dave Wannstedt will finally get to call the plays!" Guy was terrible.

I am pumped up for this coaching staff, but his record is .500.............in college at Syracuse!! This is nothing to be discussed about as he was on a college team and shouldn't be compared to any NFL coach as he hasn't even coached one bills game yet, let alone been a head coach for on game in the NFL entirely.
Yes he did return Syracuse to somewhat relevant again and winning some bowl games, but the NFL is completely different. Nick Saban is a perfect example of that. He is the best college coach, but couldn't "Nathaniel Hackett" in the NFL.

I'm glad they cut him, but that means that someone is better in the eyes of the Patriots. So I guess I am not happy about that. Unless he was a salary cap cut.

I have my own conjecture about who was making the decisions on the draft, and I don't think anyone knows that wasn't there. What was very interesting to me was listening to JoeB from GR talking about it yesterday. He was as wired in as anyone on the draft with the Bills, and even in his last mock, predicted EJ Manuel as the top pick. If anyone would know a little bit, he would. And he said he had absolutely no idea whether Buddy was making the picks or Whaley or Marrone or any combination of them. He couldn't even guess. So anyone telling anyone that this is the way it went down doesn't know what they are talking about, it's just all conjecture.
I wish they would tell us instead of all this conjecturing....

I'm worried about Da'Rick Rogers, because if he continues to perform as he did at Monday's OTA practice he might completely shatter the confidence of our secondary.
hahaha, I was thinking of the same thing. I believe that this is the time to put in work even though it is extremely early. Those other rookie WR's gone for the time being at school still, Perfect time for Da'Rick to show us what he has to offer. Still, very early though. I want to see more highlights.
