Well, one of my retirement gifts from the Navy for my wife putting up with me for 20 years was to take her to Jerome Bettis Grill in Pittsburgh.
HANDS OFF A+ place to eat if any of you get into town! (the steaks are GREAT)
Jerome was in and saw me sporting my Bills gear so we got to talking.
We talked about Rex and Jerome said the Bills now have a attitude and will win with that. He said Rex is no slouch and will get it done in Buffalo.
I asked about how he felt how close the Bills are and he said like everyone else. "QB and O-line will do it. They are Seattle in the makings if done right" He loves Bills D and thinks Hughes should be kept (I agreed with him).
We also talked about Buffalos QB situation and he personally knows Whaley from his days in Pittsburgh. He said Whaley is a class act and VERY smart (he said that 3 times over). He said the reason Whaley is up there is because he can get things done.
He also said No way they would of landed Rex without a plan for a QB to step in. Jerome said "watch the trade wire and you will see how smart that man is"
I hope so!
He was fantastic and gave me a 8 X 10 signed of him! I refused a military discount (I always do, I dont believe in handouts or freebees for my service) We were invited next week to come in when they do the Jerome Bettis show and got passes for it! I cant wait!
Great story! Congrats on the retirement and thanks for your service

I wonder if this just like a net jets, so they switched planes or something. 48 minutes doesn't seem feasible.
Possible, but I believe the Pegula's own their learjet.
EDIT:I am bored at work. Executive Jets is very similar to Net Jets. So your assessment is probably spot on JR.

It appears Gase's Interview was quick. They where on the ground for 48 Minutes in Denver.

Just saw that. No doubt it's counter-spin by Team Marrone to rehabilitate his reputation a bit.
This was my thought after especially after the article in the New York Daily News yesterday.

Here is a positive stat
Scott Hanson @ScottHanson 4m4 minutes ago
The QB with the best completion percentage (82.1%) on 3rd down is...... Kyle Orton.

IR with designation to return, perhaps.
But, I imagine the Bills are pretty tight lipped right now.
It official thats what they did

The #Bills have signed RB Phillip Tanner (@PTanner34) and placed @CJSPILLER on IR-Return

Had 21 ST Tackles last season, probably will replace Boobie there.

I assume this it to the practice squad?
Sounds like active roster

I am watching the Eagles game and thinking if you want a college coach we should have pursued Chip Kelly.
They did. He wasn't interested.

Would the NFL and NHL let Pegula own a minor league team in another city?
Pegula has been rumored to be the leading candidate to buy the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League
He can do that. Only if he gets to keep Connor McDavid as well

This Is Fun!!!

Another way to protect tailgating might be to use the Buffalo Belt Line, a RR Line which runs around the city. Satellite Parking Lots with attached stations could be used for tailgating and then fans could be transported via rail cars to the stadium.
The lots could have to be enclosed with security patrols for safety purposes.
