  1. As far a CB goes, you have to remember not only is McGee a free agent next year, but so is Ashton Youboty. Also I believe Whitner is free agent the following year. You can say well just resign these guys and Ralph is cheap. But they may not feel these guys are worth the money based on age and performance. Just something to think about.

  2. More and more mocks have us picking Maybin at 11. I confess that I haven't seen him play or work out. I know he's sort of a one-year wonder and had something like 22 tackles for a loss this year. Any PSU fans out there who can fill us in on this guy? Is he explosive? A leader? Were his tackles behind the LOS solo efforts, for the most part? Did he win battles to get back there? Or were they more schematic as far as you can tell?

    Thanks in advance.

I watched Path to the Draft last night and Mayock stated that Maybin's only redeemimg factor is speed and he was terrible at the combine. Not only in the forty but also in the linebacker drills.

  3. The Buffalo Bills filled the majority of their eight-man practice squad signing back six players they released just 24 hours ago.

Those players are Eric Bassey, Brad Cieslak, Fred Jackson, Jason Jefferson, Ryan Neill and George Wilson.

Bassey, Jackson and Neill are all rookie free agents while Cieslak, Jefferson and Wilson are all former undrafted free agents.

The Bills thus far have split their practice squad players down the middle with three players for the offensive side of the ball and three for the defense.

Wilson had the best preseason of the current members on this year's practice squad, but was playing at the team's most competitive position.

Neill has shown good instincts and has long snapping ability.

Jefferson is a player with some experience and he's familiar with the system after going through the spring and summer. If one defensive tackle goes down with a lengthy injury he will be needed on the active roster.

Cieslak is a capable tight end that needed to be a bit more consistent in the preseason, but is a good reserve nonetheless.

And Bassey is a physically gifted cornerback that just needs more seasoning.

There are still two spots open on the Bills practice squad. Those positions will likely be filled by Monday.

  4. Standard message rates apply. I have a 50/50 plan text messages & picture messages. If I recieve 51 messages from the Bills during the month, 50 of those messages would be part of my plan and the other message I would be billed for individually at I believe $.10 per message thereafter.

  5. Bentley is from the Cleveland area and made it known in January that he would like to go home and play.

I happen to remember a certain LB that wanted to go home and play in Cleveland and we happened to sign him from under Cleveland's nose.

It's just a matter of how much commitment the Golden Boys show as far as the money and future plans of the Origanization go.

Let's hope they get it done

    :P
