  1. I think that Syracuse is a dividing line. The fan base is divided with the Bills, Jets and Giants. As you keep progressing west that obviously switches to firmly Bills territory at Rochester and so on. I would guess that Syracuse would take an interest in whatever of those three is doing best at that time. During the Bills heyday, I bet there were more mid state Bills fans. I was born in Syracuse, but have been back very few times, so I really don;t know.

I'm from Utica and have always been a Bills fan. The other so called New York teams, are from New Jersey.
  2. I know. I know. "At the Stadium, You Mouthbreathing Idiot". For those of us who WON'T be at the game, where will you be?

I'm going to be in a hotel room in Calgary, watching it on NFL Gamepass. Wearing my Bills T-shirt, and wearing it proudly.

A million years ago, I remember being in a van with family and friends on the way to the 1990 AFC Championship, listening to the pre-game on the radio. I'd slogged my way to every home game that season, and I lived in New Jersey at the time. That's a lot of slogging! As the snow whirled around the van, it suddenly hit me - and I had to share it with the rest of the family - "You know, if we win this, we're going to the Super Bowl". I accept that this sounds stupid, but as a lifelong fan of this franchise, you keep a game-at-a-time mentality. It had only just occurred to me that there was...you know...hope.

    This feels the same.

Will be on a flight to Maui at the time of the game. Will set DVR for when I get home. Guess I will find out results at the airport.

  3. I dont want to be a debby downer, but I just went back and watched the bills vs raiders highlights again (because its just that good). I couldn't help but remember the feeling I got when I thought Fitz had thrown a pick in the endzone when the ball somehow ended up in Chandlers hands..

All that CB had to do was make an average play on the ball and he would have had an easy pick, we would have lost the game, and everyone would be complaining about how Fitz doesnt have what it takes to win in the clutch. Is anyone else a little concerned by this?? I hope Fitz realizes the mistake he made and that he was fortunate, and learns from it.

Fitz dodged a bullet on that play, but then again, he is the amish rifle..

    :wallbash:
