That seems to be the popular consensus.

But as you said, can a team have that many primetime games scheduled to begin the season?  I thought the max was 5, but perhaps that's just SNF and MNF?  Anyone know for sure?

If this is correct, it looks like the new TV contract allows for a max of 7 prime times game.

That was an amazing evaluation. I actually even subscribed to him I was so impressed. Very knowledgeable and informative.

Ha, I just did the same thing. Holy crap that was a good.

Watch the “The Chiefs are vulnerable...” video too. He breaks down exactly why the Bills are a matchup nightmare for the Chiefs.

It also helps that the ball was about 8 yards short of the Endzone and time would’ve expired if they did catch it.

Doesn’t matter, that was symbolic, something to continue to build off of. That aggressive swat down was a statement to his team, Bills fans, the rest of the football world, of not this f-ing time , no one is stealing a win from us again.

That was one of the best possible plays to end on to keep the momentum going forward. Go Bills!

  4. Holding hands in my living room with ten members of family praying for the win. Right after the missed kicked I remember my dad running to the bathroom and puking for about 30 minutes. I was 9 and didn’t read into too much, just thought it was weird and gross, and he was being dramatic.

Twenty five years later my dad finally came clean and told me he bet $10,000, our entire savings, on the Bills to win. Idiot.

    Go Bills!

“We thought he had chance to be a starter.”

When asked to clarify if he meant as a rookie, or a starter in this league, he said again:

“We thought he had chance to be a starter.”

I really hope they show this at a team meeting before the game for a little extra motivation.

  6. I hate the Jets, their cocky fans and coach. They embody every D-bag New Yorker (city) in that they think the world evolves around them. I hate the city and I hate the Jets. They are the scum of the earth.

Please, for the love of all things holy, go get a snack on these NYC/Jersey rats Buffalo!

And put this guy were he should be, face down in a bubble bath: http://cbssports.com/images/blogs/Mark_Sanchez_Bathtub_GQ_Interview_Photoshoot.jpg

  7. PLEASE vote daily, for as many Bills players you can. I live in Hawaii and get a media pass every year to photograph the players at their practice. It's fun but I'm always slightly pissed because I never get to meet any Bills. I can't make it back to Buffalo this year for any games so this is my only chance to see any of the Bills in the flesh.

  8. not to be a negative nancy but ...

how much of the O-lines sucess can be attributed to the decision to abandon the down field pass (or at least severly limit it). Our bread and butter air game seems to be the quick hitting short stuff, we do just enough to make the other team respect our willingness to throw long but it is not something we rely on. Getting rid of Lee Evens should have been a clue as to the direction we were going.

I don't mean to say this philosophy is bad ... or even the wrong way to go ... I just think it was a decision made by the coaching staff to "help" our O-line, and play to the strenghts of Fitz's ability to make a quick decision and get rid of the ball.

Avg. Rushing Yds. per game 140.6 (5th in the NFL). Jackson is the best player on the offense yes, but the O-line has allowed him to reach the next level. Being a top 5 rushing offense doesn't happen without a great O-line. These guys are the real deal.

  9. There have been far too many ... I think that collectively the "Jauron Era" was the low spot for me. Totally wasted years that we are still trying to emerge from.

    Totally agree.

The worst was the Patriots/Bills home opener in 2009. In my 29 years of being a fan, that game brought me the closest I've ever come to picking a new team to follow.
