Would have preferred Parham, Kinnard, Woolen, Cross or even Araiza.

I want Kenneth Walker or Troy Andersen at pick 57 … if either falls that far.

Not a Jet Fan… but are you saying they aren’t?

No RB in the 1st round , there’s no need for 100 pages of discussion
After we draft one in the 1st Round can we resume the discussion?

I think they are bringing in Andrew Booth for a visit.

I still like the idea of Troy Andersen in Round 2. I would take him over Walker for his upside, speed and versatility if both were available.

Another close one….going down to the wire.

So I understand what Walker brings to the table and what he provides.
What does Metchie really bring?
As we matriculate through this draft, you can kind of see why someone is going to take Ariaza in the 3rd. Especially all of these teams with multiple picks and all these comp picks at the end of the round. I voted Walker, but I’d rather have the best punter in the league than John Metchie
Having possibly the best punter in the league for the next 5 to 10 years wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.

You can probably break this down to Metchie vs Walker.
Walker is becoming a popular name in these polls.

Success at the WR position is about almost everything BUT 40 speed, so look well past that. It's not something you can completely ignore, but things route running and the mental aspect of setting up defenders on routes, agility, hands, concentration, catch radius, actual on-field performance are all vastly more important than how fast a guy runs in a straight line across an arbitrary distance in his underwear...
To that end, David Bell feels like he should absolutely be on this list and is not, which is a shame, I'd take him over Metchie.
I agree and know that about 40 time. But I would rather draft something we don’t already have at WR which is a burner that can stretch the field. In this scenario I would rather draft Walker and take Thornton Round 4 or maybe 5.

Watching Metchie’s tape seems underwhelming to me. Nothing really stands out that makes me think he’d be a strong NFL contributor
He is sort of on the slow end 40 time wise 4.5 I would rather go Rasheed Walker and draft Tyquan Thornton 4.28 next round or in the 5th.

At this pace, I don't know if we will get 3 drafts in. People are really stretching the 4 hours
Pick for them…take the highest rated player based on teams needs …..use your discretion

Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like most agree that we could upgrade on Singletary. We just have different views on who and when in the draft it should be done.

I would LOVE to have Bradberry here!!! 😎👍🏾
Spitballing and having fun.
Trade Edmunds for 2022 mid 2nd and 5th
Trade Epenesa + our 5th for Bradberry
with retention
Edmunds clears up cap space for Bradberry
No pressing need for CB now
Draft
1st Round…WR Jameson Williams, Christian Watson or Chris Olave
MID 2nd received in trade…LB Troy Andersen
2nd Round pick 57 (maybe use 6th to trade up few spots)…RB Kenneth Walker
3rd Round pick 89…best OLine available
4th Round pick 129…Punter Matt Araiza
Mid 5th received in trade…Safety, LB or developmental CB
6th Round if not traded..see above
6th Round again…see 5th round
7th Round….same

Why? 1 year deal. They have the ability to.
At 31 years old… I think he would want a longer term deal and has the resume to get it.
New nickname for our guy Matt Araiza
