I only read the first page of comments and skipped to this, so I dont know if it was brought up already, but none of those players (Bowe, V-Jax, or Colston) will be signed by the Bills. Not going to happen. They got Fitzy signed, Stevie in the wings, and money tied up with CJ and (deservedly) Freddy. They can't afford to invest in another big name WR with holes at DE/LB and DB. My opinion on FA options are Jerome Simpson or Harry Douglas. Simpson is prime to jump out and produce and be a start field stretcher and I know that Douglas is typically a slot receiver, but given that just UDFA and 7th rounders produced in this offense, I think he could be a split end. What you think?

Hes too small in my opinion

You guys hatin on Stevie are trippin. He beat the best corner in the NFL all day and made one mistake. Its not his fault the new kicker botched the most routine play a kicker ever does, nor is it his fault the D couldnt stop the jets on a 3-11 with 2 minutes left. Penalties and poor D helped the Jets win, not Stevie Johnson.

I BILLieve all day! They've had two bad games. SO what? They had 7 great games before. 2 games dont define them and I think we all have the same feeling that the Bills are going to get a win this week and then string a couple together after! I always BILLieve, but this time its realistic to.

I agree 100%...this is a team that was an after thought nationally, then became darlings, and is now in the gutter? They're tied for 1st in the division and got a half the season to prove who they are. I still think they have a chance to make the playoffs and if not, theres always next season, which will have a full set of OTA's and trainning camp to get better. This team is on the rise and one game doesnt define them, good or bad.
ps. GO BILLS!

I think D. Bell did a damn good job against Tamba. Neutralized him most the game and I noticed they ran alot off-tackle and inbetween him and Levitre, other than that one TD run by Spiller. GO BILLS! Also David Nelson got off and had a game (Chandler goes without saying).

Best of luck, Lee! Hope you tear it up with a good team.
My thoughts exactly! Now he gets to play for a contender and hopefully can get the Ravens over the hump to the Superbowl! Go Lee!

It makes no sense to take away a true leader on offense to help the other young receivers. His salary isn't that much, plus they have a salary floor to be at next season...If he does leave, I at least hope he gets to go to a contender.

Just a question....haven't heard much about Hartison at tackle. Anyone seen him or heard about him doing anything? And also, I too believe that the Bills are FAR too thin and T and curious why they didn't take a look at Locklear FA from SEA or Ryan Harris from DEN. Anyone have any insight on those guys as to why the FO wouldnt at least give them an invite?

[quote I fully expect Nelson to be cut. If they only keep two TEs, it will probably be Chandler and Martin. If they keep three, look for Pianalto (UDFA from UNC) to sneak in there.
I hope not, I'm still optimistic that Shawn will be able to produce some kind of play-making ability, I mean they've waited on Maybin this far they might as well wait and see this season with him also. It just seems like he can't get on the practice field, and CB never reports what why hes sitting out...does anyone have any insight?

I wonder if Buffalo is exploring Tamba Hali. I think he'd be a MAJOR upgrade over Kelsay and since they want to keep Moats at inside backer add some depth.
WR we could use

Exactly, especially with a Rookie QB coming in, no chance they let go of their best offensive weapon. My vote (and I said it on another post so I'm just pleading to the FO via TBD) is Jerome Simpson. I think if they could get him to run better route, hes a bigger, faster, and more athletic WR then Garcon and the other UFA's mentioned.
