  1. I love it....I dont want bandwagon press coverage...I dont even like when my coworkers hit me with "How bout those Bills" Its been two decades of Jokes and ridicule...Some warranted some not so much. Now that we're back on the map...Im prepared to tell EVERYONE who had jokes...all the media outlets that neglected to cover us...F*%$ you...I just want wins and a Chips....all that other TV sh*t and puff pieces that are bound to come now that they appear to be back... I couldn't care less about.

  2. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the the Bills and Giants will be "in pursuit" of free agent RT Daryl Williams.

Buffalo, of course, employs GM Brandon Beane and coach Sean McDermott, who are very familiar with Williams from their days together in Carolina. Williams had a breakout 2017 season but had big-time knee issues in 2018 with a torn MCL and dislocated kneecap. But Williams is just 26 and was one of the best right tackles in the sport when healthy. The Bills and Giants both have obvious needs across the offensive line.

  3. Next the DB'S will have to guard WR's instead of on air for their drills... and the DL will actually have to beat OL in the drills instead of dummies....and the broad jump, vertical and cone drill will all be done with pads. All of this in the name of making it as real as possible. They'll never run 40's in pads. The combine will never be done in pads.

  4. The original word on Couples was strictly a 3-4 def. end and only had 5 and 1/2 sacks this year. Then he supposedly had a great senior bowl week. Not sold on him. Would rather have Ingram or even Zack Brown (also not sold on Sheppard. Can't believe they are handing him the starting MLB job).

Sheppard is the only Prototypical 4-3 MLB on the roster. He's been given that position by his production/default. Zach Brown is 6'2 230. You do not want somebody that small manning the middle. In our D he would play with Weak side OLB which Barnette will have no truble with.

you're basing your opinion on a game most scouts dont even stick around for...and since when is one sack and 3-4 pressures not considered good anyway?

Coples can play inside or out and makes a ton of plays behind the line of scrimmage

maybe you should try basing your opinion on real games over the course of his career rather then one game that isnt even considered meaningful

    seriously, this is dumb

Keep the one sack and 3-4 pressures in perspective. They were against players that are projected RT and G at the next level. Mayock mentioned that litteraly when it was happening and every scout that I follow on twitter made sure everybody took note of that. One thing I agree on is that most scouts dont stick around for the game. However during the week, when Coples was matched up against true LT prospects he lost more times then he won. Theres pleny reason not to be impressed with him so far.

  5. I keep hearing about how this guy is a monster, heard how his Senior Bowl performance was great and meant he'd shoot up the draft board, going as high as top 5...but watching the guy in the Senior Bowl and reading up on it, I just dont get it.

The knock on Coples has been he lacks heart and the desire to be those force he physically can be. People have been eager given his build and school to compare him to J Peppers, but at every turn he's done enough to make even his greatest supporters say such a comparisson is waay off. In the Senior Bowl he played decently. Largely going against Collegiate Right Tackles in the game he registered one sack and 3-4 preasures....but thats it. For an elite prospect playing in a game worth more to his financial future than any other game he didnt seem to dominate. He often was easily nutralized by an RT who wont be drafted in the top two rounds and may never start at RT in the NFL.

Im not saying he's going to bust, but from what he showed at the senior bowl he does seem like a guy who's motor isnt always going, and I just dont know why giving him millions in guaranteed money would do anything to change that. What am I missing?

Your not missing a damn thing.... I didnt watch to much of UNC this year so with pass rusher being what the Bills so desperatly need, I was excited to see what Coples was all about. Needless to say I came away from Senior Bowl Week feeling the same way you do. I paid close attention to Coples...Upshaw and Ingram (and a few others on the North team but mainly those three) and Coples was clearly the lesser of the three. In one on one's he lost wayyyyy more times then he won..he played high and had no where near a Top 10 burst. In the game all his plays were made against projected guards that were playing OT. Although you never know when it comes to the draft (or FA or anything else for that matter) I will not be happy if we draft him. Now Ingram on the other hand

  6. LOL.

    That made me laugh.

Anyways. YES - he can play Kelsays position, and most likely we would still draft a DE/OLB

    Upshaw Barnett Sheppard Mario

    Williams Dareus Edwards

That front 7 would do filthy filthy things. I could play in the secondary.

LOL @ "would do filthy filthy things"....Just know Im stealing that one

  7. 1-Indy-Andrew Luck-No-brainer, and no, they don't keep Manning.

    2-StL--Matt Kalil or Blackmon

3-Min-Justin Blackmon or Kalil or Coples or Riley Reiff

4-Cleve-Trent Richardson or Coples or Devon Still

    5-TBay-Morris Clayborne or Luke Kuechly

6-Wash-Alfonzo Dennard or Dre Kirkpatrick (signs Peyton Manning; knows there is major falloff at CB after RD1)

7-Jax- Michael Floyd or Dre Kirkpatrick or Coples

    8-Mia-Upshaw or Reilly Reiff

    8-Car-Devon Still or Michael Floyd

    9-Buf-RG3

I'm not advocating this per se; I am arguing that by taking every team's P1 and P2 needs here, RG3 could slip to the Bills.

The draft would then have to go something like this:

    Buffalo

    RD2-Ronnell Lewis OLB34, Oklahoma http://bit.ly/xfXgg7

RD3-Dontari Poe DT Memphis (6'5" 350; plays DT34 and DT43; Dareus moves back to DE)

    RD4-Jeff Fuller WRF Texas A&M

    RD4-Michael Egnew TE Missouri

    RD5-Omar Bolden CB Arizona State

    RD6-Justin Pugh OT Syracuse

    RD7-Zach Line RB SMU

    Puff ....puff...pass

  8. Ok, im not a bills fan, also clearly not a fan of ryan fitzpatrick. But my friend has been yapping in my ear about how "CJ SPILLER has potential to b AS good as lesean MCCOY" listen, spiller had a good game against. Im an eagles fan, gratz on the win btw, but it ended better for us in the end :D. Anyways, i don't think spiller has the potential to be even in the same realm as mccoy. Anyone presenting a solid argument is welcomed. I think the bills are also at least 2-3 years away from the post season. I think the team needs to draft first and foremost a pass rush. Chris Kelsay isn't going to cut it. Trust me, having Babin and Cole is terrific, and there isn't anyone on the roster right now who even comes close to either of them. Again, lets argue. By the way, the friend i am talking about is Buffalo_Bills . Lets argue, im bored with the off season already. Expected to be fighting for the right to go to the NFC championship by now..lol...dream team

Why are you even in here? Beat it

  9. It'll be tough with SJ. They'll either sign him or let him walk. There will be no tag. A franchise tag will probably pay out $9Mil+ for that year. They dont want to pay him that NOW.. so theres no way they can pay him that with the tag and then offer him less the following year. Im not impressed with Jefferies (havnt seen him get much seperation) and havnt seen Floyd play enough to have opinion. I pray we go defense. Three other Wr's to consider though. Rutgers, Baylor, and Texas A&M have WR's comming out that can play.

  10. Might have been said already but....what I liked was that we capitalized off of just about every mistake they made. That is what "good" teams do....If you give NE, GB etc. extra possessions or good field position they ABSOLUTELY make you pay for it. Bills teams of the past would get a turnover or 3 and out and either return the favor with a turnover or run three BS plays in a row to give the opposing D a three and out resulting in the game being close at the end and good ole lady luck kicking us in the ass. We kept the petal to the metal all game. Great way to start off a season. One game at a time guys!
