  1. The couple of times we've been able to string together some wins, I like to go to a bar or Buffalo Wild Wings. The best was beating the Cheatriots this past season. A whole crowd of chowderheads were slapping each other on the back for the 1st half and pointing at our group in Bills gear. The second half of that game was awesome. I've never seen so many red-faced pissed off Brady boys. Priceless. But most games i catch streaming online. The quality isn't always the best, but I don't donate to Sunday Ticket on principle.

What principle is that? The ticket is expensive (not this year), but is the best thing on TV out there.

  2. Likely go to the Bills' bar in Atlanta, called Tavern 99 for the opener. Flying in to Buffalo for the KC game home opener. I have directTV Sunday Ticket, will likely watch most the of games at home, but if they are wining it makes going to the games more fun at the bar, could go to a few more. Might catch one of the December home games too, my grandma is sick so I am going baout every 6 weeks to Buffalo right now. Might go to the Bills at Miami

  3. No. But I will be covering my eyes.

Fitz's chain-moving skills aren't feared by anyone Figs. -Just the opposite. Opposing D's know they just have to wait for an imminent mistake from our signal-caller and then make the most of it.

No huddle? -Please. If there was a way to have MORE huddles in between downs, I'd recomend it for Ftzpatrick.

More huddles!!!! That is hilarious. I guess I am not allowed to chime in all that much, but the idea of more huddles would be a good one for the Bills on offense!!

And the HOF receiver, and the HOF running back, and the other receiver who should be in the HOF, and the four Pro Bowl OLmen, plus a fifth who should have been.

But other than that, it was all Kelly.

    GO BILLS!!!

Ok, and if you do not have all those other weapons, why expose your QB then? I do not believe the coaching staff has even done Fitz any favors, and really has not put him in a position to succeed.

  4. Fitz was the reason the Bills were behind in many of the games. Ineffective QB play and no moving of the ball leaves the defense out there a lot, especially when you turn the ball over a ton too, suck on 3rd down, and lead the league in going 3 and out, but Fitz is really good at getting garbage time stats. He was 16th in the NFL in yards per game, that is the real stat, not yards, that is average. His TDs are a by product of playing from behind too and that Chan just does not run the ball. None of these things are opinion, they are all fact.

  5. There's nothing "unsettling" about a preseason game where your starters are in for a quarter or less. What's SETTLING is the fact that there were no injuries to speak of and that the team is still healthy. They used the game for exactly what they should have, which is evaluation of players. The next couple of preseason games will be a little more playing time for the first team. For anyone that cares to remember, the 1990's Bills teams that went to 4 straight superbowls were either 0-4 or 1-3 in preseason games and did exactly what they did last night. So take a chill pill and be patient. I'm more interested in them staying healthy and coming out and destroying the Jets in the first week that counts.

People like to bring this up, but bad teams need to do well in preseason, especially when this bad team finished the season freaking 1 win and 8 losses. It is silly to bring up the preseason records of successful teams versus preseason records of unsuccessful teams.

  6. Let's just call this the "Fitz haters thread" and everyone with sanitybshould just back out and let Toshiero, Paintmyhouse, and the other few members of the blind to reason, anti Fitz club pat each other on the back about how a few series in the first preseason game validates them.

Yep, sure is blind. He is 18-33-1 as aq starter, who got worse last season, has qualified for the last 4 years in QB ranking and showed no real growth at all and has a highest ranking of 22 and led the league in INTs. This is not blind, these are facts, he a proven loser QB on bad teams, he may not be the whole reason for losing but he sure doesn't help winning and has already peaked. You lose nothing if you cut him, you can fart 10 wins over two seasons, only 3 teams have less and they are all set moving forward at QB. Bills are in a really bad spot.

  7. This sounds like Dick ball. Please tell me we aren't going to play Dick ball again.

I don't believe this is the plan for a minute. Coach Gailey understands you win by SCORING more points than the other team. Not, take care of the ball and don't make mistakes and try to steal it at the end.

Jauron won more than Gailey still somehow?!?!?

Wrong. Go back and watch the Oakland New England games from last year.

The 2 worst pass defenses in the NFL last year. Perfect.

  8. Well Fitz is the guy because VY and Thigpen aren't getting the job done.

    PTR

Fitz isn't getting the job done either, he is the worst starting QB in the NFL hands down,. He is the worse because he is not getting any better, he was worse last year then the year before, and has already reached his ceiling, there is nothing higher for him, and it is just not good enough.

I would cut him right now.

  9. I always liked Sean Canfield out of Oregon State. He was really good when he was there. I was hoping we'd draft him last year.

I also think Clausen could be good if he didn't play on a team with a swiss cheese offensive line and no defense. I saw him play against the Seahawks when he was a rookie. he looked really good in the first half. Then the Seahawks turned up the heat in the 2nd half and ate his lunch. I don't know how you can write a guy off as sucking when he's playing on the worst team in the league. Has a second round draft choice QB ever gone to the worst team in the league and started and looked good right out of the chute?

Tied for 3rd worst team, Andy Dalton, who should really have been the Bills QB right now.
