Give him a light workload throughout the season so he can be as healthy as possible for the playoffs when the Bills really need him.
I would just play like you would any other player. They tried this method with Von Miller, and I never really noticed any super-rejuvenated playoff energy from him.

And on Diggs, it didn't make sense from a cap perspective at all. The move hurt the team. That's why it seemed impossible.
It made a ton of sense from a team morale standpoint. The Bills went on to score more points than in any season in team history and Allen won the first MVP ever for a Bills passer. It didn't hurt the team at all.

Keon is a likeable kid. I just wish he was a better player.
He could be very effective niche player by being targeted in the redzone to come down with contested balls, but that is just too crazy an idea for a 6'5" WR with Division I college basketball experience.

I thought we are the only team in the nfl that can lose because they can’t do a QB sneak. It should have been mind blowing but because of our entire lives, it wasn’t
We suck at it despite having the biggest QB in football. Typical.
I was over the AFC Championship is a couple days, if that long. I've seen the writing on the wall and know the story. Miscues, bad officiating, bizarre coaching decisions, and general choking always rear their heads when the Bills are in an incredibly important game. This is been the case with numerous coaches, rosters, and even over two separate ownership groups.

Have you enjoyed the other aspects of Bills success (regular season and post season winning) at all, or do you not care about that at all? Like, in the moment when those things are happening, do you not derive any satisfaction from it? You just immediately tell yourself it doesn't matter unless they win a Superbowl at the end?
Just seeking to understand.
It really doesn't matter if they can't at least get to the Super Bowl.
I don't hear a lot of Miami, Houston, and San Diego fans reminiscing about all the great wild card games Marino, Moon, and Rivers played in during their careers.

It’s true 90% of the time.
The difference is that Garrett has already earned over $120M in his NFL career. You’d think a veteran like Garrett might trade a couple millions if it meant winning a Lombardi
Cleveland said multiple times that they were not going to trade him. His options were to holdout, which would guarantee him nothing, or sign a gigantic contract, which guaranteed him $120 MM. Not a tough choice.

It's always about the money.
Just like any other job. LMAO at all the people mad at him because "I thought he wanted to win a Super Bowl!"

I doubt that a team with the reigning MVP and is fresh off a 3-point loss in the championship game is going to have 8 1:00pm Sunday games.
The more, the better. Night games suck, in my opinion.

You could make the argument that playing Thanksgiving Day games on crappy dome turf may have cost us Super Bowls in 2021 and/or 2022.

Extensions for Benfird, Allen, and Cook should've been prioritized before Rousseau, but I think his age has a lot to do with it. If they feel he is entering his prime, it makes sense to lock him up long term.
He's not a consistent pass rusher yet, that must be said.

Look, I like him. I really do. But I'm not paying him top 5-10 cb money. He's not in that tier in my opinion.
Someone will pay him that, unfortunately.

I really like Benford. He's not flashy and doesn't get you with splash plays but he is super reliable and always dependable. However, I don't think I'd call him a top 5 to 10 corner though. I can see him in the 15-25 range. He's quite good, but not great. Just my humble opinion.
Go Bills!!
Hard to make a bunch of plays when QBs avoid throwing to your side.

Now we have Garrett, Hendrickson and DK available
Beane HAS to bring in one of these guys or we can likely just expect the same .
We need an elite difference maker
All of these guy are expecting insane money, all are on the downside of their prime, and all will cost significant assets to get. Beane would essentially be betting his job that we win the SB within two years by pulling off a move like that. I don't think he's willing to do it.

“So when we were on vacation talking about Buffalo … the funniest part about it is Josh is sitting there telling me, ‘Bro, Buffalo’s not that cold. It’s not that cold. You’ll be fine.’ And I’m sitting here looking at him like, ‘You’re lying to me.
"not that cold" 🤣
He tried!

Didn't he supposedy tell Allen that he has only lived in hot weather and didn't want to move anywhere cold, or am I thinking of someone else?

It does not matter. There's a reason you don't pull your season-long starter QB & replace him with the backup come playoff time. No other team is dumb enough to do that.
It was proven to be the right decision, unless you want to blame Rob Johnson for the ensuing kickoff after he led the game-winning drive.

Fact!
Flutie won 10 games, got them there. Flutie plays, Bills win. Full stop. R Johnson was pathetic.
The defense won those games. Rob Johnson also effectively won the Titans game, which most people forget. Flutie had the same opportunity at Miami the year before in the playoffs and predictably turned it over in the red zone, something that lost multiple games for the Bills in 1999.

Rob Johnson could have played worse in the Titans game? I have to think Flutie upgrades QB to some extent. Even if it's with his mobility. Johnson took 6 sacks in that game.
I mean, he orchestrated a game-winning drive. Not his fault they screwed it up, like always.

I don't think "Music City Miracle" would have happened had Flutie played instead of Johnson.
We probably would've been down by double digits at that point if the Little General had started that game. He was brutal in '99, especially towards the end of the year.

Dawkins is easily the most under respected player on the Bills by fans.
I would argue the opposite is true. Most Bills fans talk about him like he's Jonathan Ogden. This thread is a perfect example.

Can you explain why the teams and NFL have a problem with STH selling most of their tickets? The team has already gotten the money from those tickets, they’ve already been sold, so why does it matter?
Like the government or the mafia, they don't want anyone somehow turning a profit on anything without getting their cut.

Why does anyone want Rodgers? Pretty confusing.
Tom Brady being on PEDs for the last half of his career (with no consequences) fooled a lot of people into believing that all good QBs should be playing at a high level into their mid-40s.
