No risk to saying you are going back to school right now...you can probably get a bunch of girls for the next 8 weeks, figure out whether the CBA gets resolved...and then change your mind if you like.

What if Denver and Carolina are happy with the qbs they got this year, what if for some reason they don't/can't find trades better than guys they want more. What if Luck falls to the Bills (talking about Lucky)? What if Fitz has a top 5 year next year (his contract year) and Luck has not proven anything because he is sitting.....
If Carolina and Denver don't want Luck...someone like Seattle, Arizona, or Oakland will trade up to get him. Luck will not get to 3.

The only people happy with Maybin is relatives benefitting from his new found wealth, finacial advisors working on commission, and his agent.

I like Dareus very much...he has had two very productive years in the best conference in college football...he can play physical but is also athletic enough to contain mobile QBs...he could play end in the 3-4 or DT in 4-3...which would suit the Bills well as they try to develop an NFL caliber defense.

Trading down is much harder than people make it out to be. Also, it's not often that a team gets a top 3 pick and a chance to get elite level talent. I also don't think Nix likes to trade down unless it was a can't pass opportunity (which they rarely are).
I don't think Nix (or Modrak, or Brandon, or Levy) knows what trading down is...and unfortunately we are in a good position to do it...I expect some team will fall in love with Cam Newton (and there are plenty of teams who REALLY need a QB)...some team will move up to draft a QB, but it won't be the with the 3 spot...sigh.

I like Dareus more as well, I think he will be a better pro. I also wasn't crazy about how Fairley was acting after the game, seemed a little immature and his interview was pretty bad. I know don't judge a book by the cover...but still it put me off a little bit.
