I've paid a fair amount of attention to the current NFL labor "negotiation".
The possibility of replacement players has been explored, as has the possibility of no NFL for 2011 until an agreement is reached.
Why has there been no serious discussion about replacment Owners stepping in and utilizing the players that are already in place? I'm sure they'd have trouble finding places to play but I'm interested that there aren't 30+ wealthy individuals salivating at the opportunity to take part in restructuring a 9 billion dollar a year industry.
Why don't the players start their own league, hire their own coaches, negotiate their own contracts ect... F the owners!

Most peeps are damn lucky to be born or living near Buffalo. But some of us in the periphery have to make due with how our lives have unfolded. How many here are transplants from Buffalo? And how many are fans who naturally realized Buffalo is our team (such as me). SF is supposed to be my team. They are fairly close enough and they became my 2nd fav. But for some damn reason Buffalo got a hold of my heart before the Niners could and never let go (and the Niners are damn close to my heart). I'm a hard core Bills fan since 87 and perhaps 86 if pressed. and I'm damn proud of it!
How did you all (who live away from Buffalo) get sucked into the awesomeness of being a Bills fan? Did it come as naturally as my situation? due tell!
It's awesome being a bills fan here in La!

Plan: Maximize short-term revenue until death by keeping team crappy in Buffalo.
Estate sells team to highest bidder.
Highest bidder maximizes long-term revenue by bringing team to viable NFL market.
Bills fans get mad, then sad, then stay bitter forever.
this is about as concise as it gets..

He won't tell you the plan because the plan is to just let the team go. If he made that public, there would be outcry and a huge shitstorm for him to deal with. He doesn't want that kind of hassle, so he remains silent.
That is what im afraid of... If he had a plan to help keep it in buffalo he would have said so IMO

- Please announce your plans for our beloved team after your passing from this earth.
Doing all of this would put our minds at ease and make us sleep better at night. We feel your secrecy over this matter is unfair and unjust treatment for the fans of the Buffalo Bills who have supported you and your "business" for the last 50 years
For this consideration we are willing to do the following
- erect a statue in your honor in front of the stadium
- rename orchard park to "Wilson Park"
- never say anything bad about you or your family
- toast to you every time the bills score a touchdown with special fireworks and new shout song in your honor
- every child born in Erie county middle name shall thereby be "ralph"
