44% of the league almost
Plus we have seen teams get in with 7-9 and 8-8 records recently. How long until one gets in with a 6-10 record? I'd rather they keep it the way it is
And conversely, there have been several 10-6 and 9-7 teams that haven't made it only to have been beaten out "mathematically" by other 10-6 and 9-7 teams.

I would love, love love for Buffalo to get an MLB team. Would require a multi-purpose retractable facility IMO. Also highly doubtful as long as the MLB caters to the big markets and the MLBPA. But man, talk about getting a ton of people downtown 80+ nights a Summer?
As far as the Bills stadium, I would be fine if they just took Seattle's taco/burrito design and transplanted it here. Would be comfortable enough from the elements, yet outdoors. I really do not know what events an enclosed stadium would attract that an outdoor stadium will not. Best case is Pegula and Jacobs privately fund an outdoor stadium, ask the public for infastructure downtown, and with that, the public along with maybe a private developer builds a really nice convention center.
You could have concerts, big concerts like the ones Rich used to have in the winter with a dome/retractable roof. Circus', flea markets, conventions, shows, whatever. If it's like Rich/Ralph, it would be totally unuseable several months of the year. Just like it is right now. What events are going on at the Ralph this weekend? None? Oh. A dome/retract roof could be used year round. Even in the winter! Do we really want something built that will be used only eight Sundays a year? It can't be a baseball stadium as well. MLB won't have that. I just remembered - my bad - I moved away fifteen years ago - I forgot about the Arena, where they probably already host that stuff. Sorry. My bad. That's what happens when you move away!

I've read several times the past few days that Bill Polian has no interest in coming back and won't.

this wont be popular, but i never liked the shout song, it just doesnt get me fired up... like at all. need to upgrade our fan songs.
You are right. It's played out. Like bringing back "Talking Proud."

Since we can't score touchdowns, or score in the Red Zone, might as well. Dan Carpenter IS our offense! Sad.

What do you think? In the future, keep divisional races, but if there is a team that wins, the NFC South this year with a losing record, add third wold card and no team from that division makes playoffs. Strong possibility that an 11-5 or 10-6 NFC team doesn't make playoffs. Like 10-6 AZ in 2011, NE a few years ago, too.

Did it occur to anyone that the Bills are one of six teams with byes this week? They aren't being shown because they aren't playing this weekend!
They're not showing the Bills anywhere. No respect...
Hehehehe...

I was in LA for a few years until about nne months ago. You wouldn't even know it was a "Football Sunday." There is just so much more going on in LA, unlike many NFL cities, where a game on Sunday is the only thing going on in town. I don't think many people in LA have missed the NFL.

Duuuuuude, you can listen to WGR550 all day and night even thouugh you live in CNY. It's on the internet.

Miss Buffalo a lot, but not enough to move back. Moved away in 2000, but there are so many Buffalonians here on the West Coast.
Do Miss a Buffalo/Upstate Fall. We only have rainy season/summer here. We don't get that "crispness" here in the fall I miss so much.

I love the Bills just as much as anyone else. I've cried over the Bills. I'll cry when they move. Having said that, I am totally against the state of NY spending millions of $ to keep them here. That is not the function of state govt. Buffalo has depended on handouts from the state for decades. This has to stop.
No government can create prosperity. That comes from the private sector.

I think you've gotten to the root of the problem.
-
Look at the rest of the schedule - it's very possible the Bills will not win again this season.

First of all, there's the CFL to consider. If Toronto gets the Bills, that would probably doom the CFL. The Toronto NFL team would become "Canada's National Team." Maybe the CFL won't even let an NFL team come to Canada.
Until Ralph dies, this is all rumours, speculation, and opinion...All meaningless drivel until Ralph dies.

This is really cool! Thx.

I was watching the game here in Portland and I couldn't believe it either when they switched to the Pats! That was really messed up! Luckily, I was also listening to Bills Radio network on the internet and heard John Murphy call it.

Also, Fitz is basically still a young guy. He is only 1 year older than Edwards despite being in the league two additional years. Take a QB like Danny White -- he didn't do hardly anything his first 4 years in the league, but went on to become a very good QB.
Danny White was the starting punter and back-up QB his first four years.

BTW - Danny White didn't do much his first four yrs in the league (as QB, anyway) because he was Dallas' punter!

No top-notch coach or GM (think Bill Cowher, Mike Shanahan, etc) will EVER come to Buffalo as long as Ralph Wilson is owner. I cannot believe Bill Parcells would even remotely think of coming here. On talk radio, press, etc., the Bills are a laughingstock, just like Buffalo, unfortunately...
I'm beginning to believe the writing is on the wall...two more losing seasons, Ralph dies in the meantime, team moves to LA or Portland (Yea for me - there has been some talk and press here about it).
Ralph was a great owner in the 90's. With A LOT of help from Bill Polian. Now he is always silent and makes NO effort to improve the team. He has become an absentee-owner; a slumlord if you will.
Of course this is heresay, but in blogs I've seen written that B.Bills are kind of black-listed in the NFL - it's gotten around to potential GMs/Coaches/Players that Bflo is NOT a place to go to if you want to win - there is no committment on the part of the owner.

Very good chance the Bills will be 0-5 at bye week. check who we play...

i like the charging buffalo on the white helmet. anyone else?
Yeah! Those uniforms just before they made the helmet red. I remember at the time, the joke was they changed the helmets to red to help Joe Ferguson see receivers better to complete more passes! (Maybe it wasn't a joke? Anyone else remember?)
Raiders looking to move to Las Vegas?

I respectively disagree with "plus all the visitors that flock to Vegas." I don't think people would want to give up a whole day of their Las Vegas trip for an NFL game. Even less so if you can see one at home. Tickets will probably be exorbitant. Like most NFL tickets, you will have buy them months in advance. Much easier to get tickets to a show. Based on your quote, why would all these "visitors" even root for the Raiders when they probably already have a fav team? I don't think Las Vegas and the NFL go together. They wouldn't really even have a true "home" crowd.
I also disagree with your prediction that attendance will be low in LA. Outrageous, my friend! It'll be a hot ticket. I bet every home game will be sold out. And it doesn't matter if it costs $2B. It will get built. I'm familiar with the Hollywood Park area where the stadium will be built and it is at the intersection of two major freeways and is easy to get to.
