  1. I heard the pros and cons of having a NFL preseason. Too many cons. Take a look at the mile long list of players injured and we haven't even played game 1. Sorry but the owners need to realize team are coming out of the box already banged up all for a few bucks in their pockets. This is just plain stupid... Time to get rid of the preseason. Teams want to have controlled scrimages during training camp would be good enough to evaluate players..

  2. There is no auguement for drafting a QB at 1. All the Qbs are prettyi much a reach this year. This years drafts class has no RG3 or Lucks in them and are pretty much projects. The Bills have had a TERRIBLE defense in recent years. Unwatchable!! This team is in desparate mode to get a play making linebacker ! There is where they need to concentrate the first pick. Most of the QBs will still be available in the 2nd rd. There is absolutely no need to reach!!!

  3. I'm not going to begin to predict who will go where. The offseason hype on QB's always makes people shoot up the boards. But, what really sucks about this draft, besides the fact that we are picking in the top 10 due to another crap season, is that almost all of the teams picking ahead of us need a QB.

I'm also not saying that this is a huge deal for round 1, but instead for any other rounds as well. If there is someone we want, we will almost certainly have to package picks to move up to get him. Just a crap situation all around

1 - Chiefs (cleaning house, Cassel not the guy)

2 - Jaguars (probably cleaning house, Gabbert assumed not to be the guy, but could be)

3 - Raiders (Palmer sporatic and Raiders always make some kind of dumb move)

4 - Eagles (cleaning house, Foles not the guy)

5 - Lions (Have Stafford, we are safe here)

6 - Browns (Weeden not sold on, but they need defensive help. Chance they pass on QB)

7 - Cardinals (Trainwreck at QB. Coach staying though)

8 - Bills (Needs QB, WR, LB)

Personally, I'm okay with them reaching for a QB early. Or, trading to get back into the first. Right now, I'm on the Nassib bandwagon. I would love to see them go best LB or WR in the first and second, then trade back into the 2nd for Nassib (unless they they think he goes higher) Nassib could honestly go late first though, who knows

    I like it.....
  4. Vick NO Way!!!! He is damaged goods. Buffalo fans are so short sighted!!!! Trade for Alex Smith and draft a QB. Let the rookie develop ....Fans need to stop with the Tebow and Vick thing...It bad enough this coaching staff dumpster dives now the fans are doing it as well!!!

  5. First of all the Bills are AGAIN a day late and a dollar short. Last year was definately the year to get a decent QB. Based the fact that a freshman QB won the heisman tells everyone that the quarteback coming out are not the same quality as last year. Most quartebacks coming out of this year's draft are and will be projects. I know that a lot of people like Geno Smith.Good chance he's gone by the time Bills pick anyways. I particularly like Landry Jones or Klein from Kansas State.Barkley is going to be a bust bet on it!

The Bills defense got run over by a truck this year. They need to concetrate and getting a playmaking linebacker for their first pick of the draft!!!!

I would aquire a QB in free agency or trade for one (Smith 49ers,Flynn,Hawks,Cousins,Skins)NO TEBOW OR SANCHEZ please!, Dump Fitz & Thigpen and draft Qbs in both the second or third rd. Let the rookie carry the clipboard for a couple of years and develop.

  6. So let's look at the four games Fitzpatrick throws a beautiful intereception in the last couple of minutes . So if we had a QB that throws a completion which 2 of them were in the endzone we are talking playoffs.... Enough said... This team need to find their franchise QB... Someome that you can surround with some talent and he can exploit that... Go Bills!! You also need a coach that can exploit a persons talents and mold a game plan around that... That's what good coaches do .... The Bills have not had that since 98.... Bills are in desperate need of both coach and QB!!!!

  7. I for one like the idea. I'm tired of retread coaches coming here and have to blow things up after 2 or 3 years It seems like we've done the retread coaches thing about 3 times too many!!!...Bring somebody in with some new ideas... By the way anyone said that college head Coaches seldom work ... Can you say HARBAUGH (S)...

  8. I would reverse that...but I know I am in the minority. Particularly in the Jauron/Levy/Brandon time, there was truly awful football management.

I really think the Bills were much closer to being a playoff team when TD was fired, than they are right now. Name a GM who doesn't make mistakes. What I liked about TD, he was a master at working the cap, rarely (if ever) over-payed FA's, and took real, bold moves to address issues. They weren't always the right moves, but he also wasn't afraid to cut his losses. People point the Mike Williams and McGahee picks as terrible...but almost any GM would have picked Mike Williams, with the same needs, when TD did. And, for all the BS about McGahee, he has a solid, if not spectacular, career. He pissed off Bills fans on his way out, but there were few gripes (that I recall) about him as a teammate, or his lack of work ethic.

To me, TD's biggest blunder was forcing Mularkey to make Losman the starter, before he was ready. It was bad for the team, and possibly, hurt Losman. It may have been the right move to dump Bledsoe at the time, but Kelly Holcomb wasn't an adequate replacement.

In the end, it was more the relationship that TD had with the owner, and some other front office people that likely got him fired...more so than the wins and losses.

Well...this may all be true, but lets look back on the drafts since, in another 6 years, and see how bad those were.

I will go to my grave swearing that trading up to pick JP Losman in the first round was not as bad a move as trading up to pick John "friggin" McCargo! A guy still waiting, after 6 years, to make an impact of any kind, other than a franchise salary cap.

Tom Donahoe is still the reason why this team will not a lot of big free agents... Remember Donahoe said that Drew Brees would never make it in the NFL.....LOL !!!!!

    Go Bills!!!!

  9. It could happen, BUT I wouldnt count on Brady throwing FOUR Picks again to hand the game to the Bills like in week 3.

    If Brady Plays:

    Pats 41

    Bills 21

It is Possible but I doubt Brady throws 4 Picks Again. But my prediction:

    WITH Brady:

    Pats 41

    Bills 17

    WITHOUT Brady:

    Pats 21

    Bills 20

Bills will be on the bus before the first quarter ends.... Pats 42 Bills 6 w/Brady.....Without Brady 20 to 6....
