  1. I remember reading he didn’t want to run the zone system McDermott and Frazier implemented, and openly questioned their leadership and process. He was traded shortly after for not getting on board, I believe.

  2. Yeah, I certainly hope our HC puts a terrible rt that is mentally disturbed to protect the qbs blindside of my favorite team. Somehow I dont think Ill have to worry much about that. Just hope the kid can get some help and move on with his life.

He played well at LT last year Hoss. Check the numbers.

  3. I am all for trying Cyrus at LT and Cordy at RT. That's what leaders and high paid players should be willing to do, bite the bullet to field the best all around team. To be painfully obvious, observe basic economics and put the person with an absolute advantage at RT and Cyrus with the comparative advantage at LT.

I sent this bizarre story to my brother and the first thing he said was, sounds like bath salts. What the hell Cyrus? Hope you are okay.

  4. Personally I really like NFL Game Pass to watch every Bills game, plus all of my fantasy team. The condensed games play in about 45 minutes so it's more like an episode of television, which I like because I always listen to the games on the radio (Bills App.) and know the outcome.

As someone who only streams Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu, and uses a TV antenna for NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox, it fits my spending preference. I would like the luxury of cable but it works for me for now.

If you wouldn't actually go back and catch each Bills game plus other teams and fantasy players, it probably won't be worth it. But you get all 250+ games for $100 so it's pennies if you watch multiple games every week.

  5. Percy is a talented rental. One year deal that may or may not return, pumped to see how and where he lines up, how many carries he gets in addition to receptions. Robert Woods is part of the team plan though.

Remember the Eagles called for RW during the Lesean McCoy trade and Buffalo would not offer him as an option, whereas Kiko was found to be expendable due to Preston Brown and the previous #4 defensive ranking without him.

  6. It makes me laugh whenever anyone on a message board calls a player a scrub, etc.

First of all, every guy in the NFL is a hell of an athlete (even the practice squad guys) and

many times the player is considered a scrub merely because the poster hasn't seen anything

from them yet. If the guy played and was consistently bad that is one thing, but sometimes a

player just needs an opportunity or some seasoning/learning (See Stevie Johnson and C. J. Spiller,

who were both considered scrubs/busts by many before they started producing).

I'm not saying Dickerson is going to be a special player or anything, I don't know...but I'm not writing a 2nd/3rd

year guy off already either without seeing what he can do. Especially one with the athletic skills he has.

Who knows, maybe with the right coaching staff, who can find the right role for him, he'll be an asset for the team.

    Interesting:

He played WR (8 games), TE (26 games), OLB (12 games), and returned kicks in college for Pitt

Post-Draft Outlook: A closer look at the Texans' picks: Round 7/227 -- Dorin Dickerson, WR, 6-2, 226, Pittsburgh, They're moving the tight end/h-back

to wide receiver because they like his size, speed, athleticism and versatility. They want him to focus on one spot rather than being a jack of all trades.

Some scouting reports had him as a 3rd round selection (even though he fell to the 7th).

Let's see what the kid can do with the new staff before we assume that he sucks.

My brother went to Pitt and always said he was a great player, that Wannstache couldn't decide where to use. Would be a nice surprise in my opinion if this were true and worked out. I won't count on it by any means, but find it intriguing now that I hope Buffalo has legitimate coaching, yet again.

  7. Only GG even alluded to it.

In light of how many pissed off people are on the board these days, I'm surprised no one has actually explicitly mentioned that the Bills worked out Alexander in late September and opted not to sign him.

I didn't realize that! He was awesome to watch last year and believe he is well worth the risk considering his knee issues.

  8. As a PSU graduate and Bills fan, I still hope Maybin can start to produce this season. Very sad news about his son. If he can't get it together though, I can't say I would have a problem with him being cut. I could go in in detail but it's been covered pretty well here on the board.

  9. Someone pointed out on here, or in an article that if we followed the Kiper's of the world we could have Ngata, Revis and Orakpo. Three of the younger and premier players at their position. Instead we have Whitner, McKelvin, and Maybin. Ouch.

In some way I hope Maybin has an amazing camp/offseason and the switch goes on, but I more likely see a cut.

Atleast our drafts the last 2 years other than Maybin have had quality players. I do think/hope Spiller will breakout some this year and I liked what I saw from Troup, Carrington, and Moats, especially Carrington and Moats. Add in some of the undrafteds and quality was added to the team.
