You seem to know very little.  I'll leave it at that.

Whats funny is you actually think you know something, but by your first post i can only see you know nothing about the game and the way Buffalo coaches are running the team! Actually take the time and watch the play calling as compared to the score. What is really sad is you most likely are a band wagoner! The most important thing, Just because you have been on this site for awhile does not mean you know anything about football!

I starting being a Bills fan in 2001 as I was just starting to really get into the NFL and the Bills were a bad team I felt was an underdog and I could get into without being a "bandwagon" fan.

Little did I know I was in for a lot of suffering. The TD era from 2002-2005 was a lot of up and down. Some quality free agent adds but poor drafting led to some up and down seasons where they were far too capped out to add the 2-3 pieces of talent they needed to get into the playoffs. But I felt like they could rebuild and compete in the near future after the wheels came off in 2005.

Then came the Jauron era which was poor free agency and poor drafting combined with cheap ownership (sorry Ralph the team wouldn't exist without you but he did not invest in the team.) Boneheaded decisions mixed with self imposed handicaps. That was another 4 years down the drain with a mediocre coach and a mediocre team.

Then came the Chan era and I was honestly bottomed out at that point. The Bills had spent 4 years with a tired retread in Jauron and they hired another third tier retreat in Chan. And although I liked what Chan did with the offense it was just an era where you knew they weren't building to anything more than mediocrity with a cheap owner and a uninspiring coaching staff.

But I stuck with my beloved Bills and then came the ups and downs of the Marrone and Rex eras where the ups and downs continued. They had talent but were never well coached and always had to cap themselves out to get into a position to be competitive but couldn't draft consistently to build up their talent base in a somewhat sustainable manner.

But Pegula kept investing in the team and finally found someone that was going to rebuild the team the right way while also having the off the field investments. McD surprised and surpassed my expectations in 2017 making the playoffs and ending the drought. Finally lifting that dark cloud from the franchise. But they continued their rebuild in 2018 taking a step back to build a long term winner.

Finally in 2019 they do what we all wanted them to do and rebuilt the O-line, they added a lot of skill position players around a young QB (giving a QB a chance) they added and retained their defensive talent which was already good. And now you have a 10 win team that has 2 games left to play and a chance at their division. I know nothing is guaranteed but it just feels good to be a Bills fan for once.

I never got to enjoy the success of the 1990's (either the Super Bowl runs of the beginning of the decade or the solid competitive teams of the late 90's.) I know a lot of fans that came into watching the team post 2000 probably feel the same way as me.

My first game my dad took me too was the old rock pile! If you are a real Bills fan you never give up on them!

You can't argue that the Bills offense isn't very good, as stated in the article, because it's not.  JA's play wasn't spectacular against the Steelers, but it was better than what they gave him credit for.  I'll take Josh over Duck or Mason Rudolph any day of the week and twice on Sundays.  The Stillers and their Crying Towels should worry about their QB position and HC, and not any one else's.

For everybody who says things like this really has no clue! The offence is doing exactly what it is being asked to do! Don't make to many mistakes, score some point it does not have to be a lot just enough for the Defense that only give ups about 14 pts a game! Almost ever game is the same when they need a score they move down and get it! if they are ahead the play calling changes to conservative play calling! We all know Frank gore is going to run the ball when he is in the game if the offence gets a first down great if not no big deal the Defense will stop them, this is the coaching decisions! This is the plan nothing flashy just grind it out! This is the "Process" Plan! They are winning stop complaining you dont like the way they win or get a different team!

  4. I don't normally comment on here, I mostly just read what people say!

If you cant see how much better QB he is then other QB's you don't watch football.

Plus he is night and day between him and the backups!

He is limited in what he does by the coaching not his ability!

Yes he is not Peyton or Tom B. but he is a franchise QB and would have taken us to the playoffs with a half decent defense.

  5. Chicago Bears coach Marc Trestman is using a helmet camera to help evaluate quarterbacks at the team's rookie minicamp.

The Chicago Tribune reported that a small camera was attached to the left side of quarterback Matt Blanchard's helmet on Friday during the Bears' first day of practice. The idea is to give coaches the same view the quarterback has when a play is developing and use that information to assess him.

Blanchard, who is a second-year player, is competing for the third quarterback spot behind starter Jay Cutler and backup Josh McCown.

Great Idea Buffalo should be doing this too!

  6. Keep

    1) J. Byrd - S I dont think you will find anyone better in FA

    2) A. Levetre - G I dont think you will find anyone better in FA

    3) L. Mckelvin - DB/ KR Just as a KR

    5) C. Rhinehardt - OL Hard to find good OL people

    16) T. Jack - QB Just to see if he was worth the draft pick we gave up

  7. Everyone here is stating what is wrong with the Bills but the real problem in the owner and his greed. Think about it just a moment if you only give the front office enough money to shop at the dollar store, what you bring home will be worth a dollar. The game has past him bye he hired someone almost as old as he is to run his team. If you had never seen either Ralph or Buddy before and you met them on the street you would think they belong in a retirement home. He may keep the team in buffalo but what has he done to help buffalo as a community grow other then put a subpar team on the field for most of the team’s history. You can blame the line, the quarter back and whoever else but it all comes down to Ralph not wanting to spend money and hoping he can take it all with him.
