Everyone hates losing, but to be fair, you do have some valid points. This franchise has been spinning its wheels with no results for nearly 20 years. People like to think about the Superbowl years like they were yesterday, but they were not. They were ages ago. We have been a sub-mediocre team since then. We have had many 7-9 seasons and many draft positions in the teens. Is this really what people want again? We need an elite quarterback. Fitz is a very good QB at best. He is not elite and he is not Jimbo. He is not going to be the guy who is going to get us to th playoffs for the next 10 years. He is good enough to win us 7-9 games though. He is not a franchise QB like Manning or Brady. I repeat, is this what people really want?
We may have a very rare opportunity come this off-season, a #1 pick. We need to use this on a Manning or a Brady. We should not be abandoning the idea of drafting a QB because we have found a journeyman QB that has played decently the last 4 games. And remember, elite/great QBs always find ways to win. Sure, Fitz can suit up for the defense, but he can certainly help our defense by keeping them off the field.
I will take a very good QB any day over the crap shoot that is the #1 draft pick. Fitz is having a great year, and I think we'd be better suited to take the best available talent as we have several holes to fill. If that means drafting a DE or LT I think having Fitz one more year won't hurt us. The guy does have QB rating over 100 and 11 touchdown passes in four games.

Maybe the Steelers or the Redksins as i do live in Virginia. In addition to those teams i would root each year for the team with the best chance of beating the Bills in their new location because i would want nothing good for the ownership of that team.

Against the same defense Joe Flacco went 17/39 1TD 4INT and 154 yds, so I guess he is a bust too. I mean he did throw more interceptions. Give the kid a break on his first start in the rain might I add. Here are some other interesting first starts:
Manning:
21/37 302yds 1TD 3INT 58.6 Rating
Brady:
13/23 168yds 0TD 0INT 79.6 Rating
McNabb
8/20 68yds 0TD 1INT 28.8 Rating
I guess these guys are all busts too, right? Anyone?

Good:
I thought the defense played pretty well especially in the second half
Roscoe Parrish looked pretty good returning punts
Bad:
Chris Kelsay looked VERY slow at times I really don't think he is cut out to play OLB. I found myself wanting them to replace him with Maybin.
Ugly:
Everything to do with the last drive.
Everything to do with the next-to-last drive.
The burden of both fail drives, I have to believe falls on Edwards.

If pissing in the woods on the back 9 is a crime, lock me up.
I'm pretty sure I'd be doing 5 to 10, seriously I'm pretty sure its a stroke penalty if you don't take a leak in woods.

The same highlight clip can be made for every starting QB in the league, the bottom line is the stats:
Campbell: 3618yds 20TD 15 INT 86.4 Rating
All Bills QB's (we had to use three): 2737yds 15TD 19INT 70.2 Rating

The possibilities with this name are endless "Bills Wang overpowers defensive ends" I am less upset about the Yankees losing Chien Ming Wang now.
How I became a Bills fan

My parents forced the Bills on me when I was young, so I my youthful rebellion included not liking the Bills. After I moved away from Western NY, I realized that the team was part of where I came from and who I was. I threw my hat in the Bills ring after Rob Johnson's 3-13 season and have been a Bills fan since. I'm pretty sure it's my penance for being a Yankees fan.
