I completly agree with you.. Gilmore seems to be a great addition to the team but someone that is not quite as useful as a keuchly would be but when it comes down to it we didn't even have that option....
"For not drafting a player we had no chance at drafting?
Your statement completely ignores all logic and rational thinking."

Trade the 2nd to Philly for Kolb?
I'm pretty sure it would take both our 1st and 2nd to get kolb.. neither are worth it IMO
-
Why are we still talking about this bum? He's a terrible qb, we should all be happy that he's finally gone and that's all that has to be said. Move on...next topic
I agree that he is no longer a topic of interest but a bum? yea he wasn't a fit in buffalo but I think we as fans should respect the fact that he was probably one of the most professional athletes we have had in the buf and wish him good luck on future success.
-
I definitely agree and if the rest of the season looks like today did with "trying to win" I would be willing to keep him as a starter for 1 more year while we address other needs. If we had a couple more OL and a LB and DE and then went after a QB the following year we might be legit.
-
I would be too afraid that we'd give up something meaningful (ie 1,2 round pick) and then he would have a mental meltdown in buffalo and retire
-
First off. I'd like to know why everyone is sooooo in love with Brohm?? He hasn't really shown anything.
Secondly - Lord Helmet obviously is not the answer either. Hopefully we can actually win some games for us this year. No matter what, it all depends on the OL.
I know there are some that actually are in love with the whole brohm idea.. I personally agree with brohm being the starter right now just because he is the only qb left that we don't know anything about.. we know trent is tentative edwards and we know that fitz is a career backup with nothing better in sight
brohm might suck worse than both of them but if he does we have at least completely exhausted any idea of a servicable qb being on our team and we will be forced to draft/trade
Personally i think we should trade for vick right now.. we have no other better option.. yea i know he did some stuff with dogs(don't even bring that up as an argument against it's dumb) I know he was not an elite qb in his prime and he's probably never going to be but we haven't even had average on this team since bledsoe or flutie

I like the vincent jackson move only if we give him a new contract for longer term
Lynch for hawk is okay i guess but I think AJ hawk is over rated and just because you have heard of him doesn't make him good. Also fred jackson is on the wrong side of 30 and might not be a good running back in like 3 years, so you deal lynch and we went from a strong running back team to a weak one in a couple of years.
Any trade for albert hans is stupid.. he is unhappy in the 3-4 defense in washington.. why would we get him for our 3-4?
Wood is going to be our center in the next 2 years for sure.. hangartner is really not good at all

Back in the day when men were men, children walked 3 miles to school through snowbanks uphill both ways,
and the Bills went to the playoffs year after year, I recall games where we scored >300 yards offense -----
and lost.
Typically I could look at the box score and see something that would stick out --- like 5 turnovers and 4 sacks, or a total lack of 3rd down conversions.
That was the start of my view, maybe ranking teams by total offensive yardage isn't right picture.
The most important thing at the end of the day is -- who won?
What I want to know from the good folks here is: what's your measure of an offense? How do you decide that an offense ranks high or is rank?
Points scored and time of possession are the most important. If you get points on the board and you keep your defense off the field you will win.

Thats like getting a 30 on a test and thinking you are smarter than the next guy who got 25.
Hahaha LMAO... very sad and true
-
I agree that Fred should have started. I didn't like the spiller pick from day 1 and obviously still don't. He looks just like willis mcgahee with the whole studder step crap. Just hit the hole and get some yards.

kelsay has missed like 4 tackles so far.. he looks terrible

I love chris berman and his dirty dirty 80's porn mustashe

There is a difference between what reporters who have no accountability believe and what people putting their money at risk believe. With that said, the bills are home for that game which really means that they are 6 point underdogs. I think the bills will win this game straight up and i don't know how Game 1 in the ralph they don't at the very least cover the spread.
-
The patriots secondary is in rough shape too. They lost Josh barrett (S) and leigh Bodden (CB) and had to trade for jarrad page from KC to get any kind of experience. That leaves NE with Darius Butler and Devin McCourty as there starters (Rookie and 2nd year player.
-
I think wood is going to be groomed as our Center in the next year or so, Hangartner pretty aweful.

26. Josh McDaniels, Broncos
27. Todd Haley, Chiefs
28. Chan Gailey, Bills
29. Tom Cable, Raiders
30. Jim Schwartz, Lions

Hard to argue that CG should be higher up based on his current stint with the bills but Eric Mangini and Pete Carroll haven't warrented being anywhere but the bottom 4 IMO

I lost alot of respect for schobel after this whole I want to play but not in buffalo crap. On that note buffalo is doing the only thing that they can. Other teams will want him, just not at the price we are paying and certainly not if they have to give up draft picks.

this website lost all credibility when I saw the Colts not making the playoffs
-
I am definitely alright with this. I like brohm but i still think that edwards can be a solid qb in the nfl. I think given his weaknesses he will never be a tier 1 qb but could easily prove to be a tier 2 with time.
-
I disagree about McGahee. McGahee does have some talent, but I wouldn't put him in the Top 20 of RB's in the league. He has an attitude problem and was almost out the door in Baltimore. McGahee went down easy upon contact with a DB. So, I'd rather have Lynch over him.
Here's my list:
DT - Pat Williams
QB - Doug Flutie - wish we kept him over Johnson. Flutie would have been a nice stop gap at QB until the Bills could have drafted a replacement.
CB - Antoine Winfield
Rueben Brown
Travis Henry
+ Wade Phillips = Perfect
Eric Moulds?
-
I doubt it.
More like a lose, win, lose ,lose, win, lose, lose, win, lose, lose, win, lose, lose, win, lose, win situation.
hahaha

Have another Dohnut !!!!
God I forgot abou tthis one... Thank you for making my morning
AND NO to Clausen. his tiny hands will be a major problem in Buffalo especially late in the ytear, and no Notre Dame did not have the freezing temps Buffalo will have, nor did ND have th ehuge wind issues we will see here. Clausens hands are a liability for Buffalo....
I know this because my hands ar 9 inches and I cannot get a good grip on a pro football. It is extremly difficult in cold and wet weather
Completely Agree, not to mention it will only take one season behind our line to complete turn the arogant prick against Buffalo all together. Not being a leader as the qb is a huge downfall also.
-
I would like to keep edwards for our upcoming QB battle.. fitz was a bad signing from day 1 take what we can get
We should keep lynch, you can't have a good team without 2 running backs now adays (would never trade him in the division if we wanted to unload him)
Trading Whitner for a 4th and 7th would be a dream come true
#9 is a steep price. I would prefer like a 2nd round pick this year and next year
-
i cant believe people actually believe this report.. a cops wife girlfriends friend that talked to a bills player who knows a guy who stole 20 dollars.. sounds to me like something happened and these people along with the big bad police officer that doesnt make jack came up with a story
more likely.. marshawn tried to get some ass and the cop found out and the wife made up a story in an atempt to get him introuble with the law
Would you feel better about this team if Vick was QB?

Vick is not the super star that the media suggests.. I personallly think I'll take Fitz for the 2012 bills even though vick is definitely a better athelete. Vick can run, fitz was impressive last year with the guts he displayed but is not a natural runner. vick can throw as well as fitz (whom we know is ready for 3 discusting passes a game) Fitz has the brain and moralitlyand vick clearly has none. When it comes down to it, chemistry is everything
Those that dismiss Vick because of morality are ignorant... like half of the players we cheer for aren't guilty of immoral acts. Despite what you may think is redemption... Vick paid what society claimed was redempetion for his disturbing acts
