  1. Let me be the first to say what a dumb ass. I mean why stay in school and play for free and risk millions of dollars. Look no further to our very own Brian Brohm as an example of why you should go to the NFL as long as you have locked up first round status. I think if you injected truth serum in Brohm he wishes he didn't stay at Louisville when he was locked in as a top 10 pick in the NFL.

Not only did he loose money BUT he really hurt his NFL career. Looking beyond the money aspect (Which is a big thing to overlook but I know there is going to be one guy who is like well its not about the money) Brohm really hurt his career in football. Think about it if Brohm was a top 10 pick he becomes the focus of an organization lets say the Falcons drafted him then he gets a chance to start and gets a team built around him.

Instead he played an extra year (For free) and lost out on 1st round status and became an after thought on the Packers falling to the 2nd round and eventually was ousted to the practice squad and now resides on Buffalo (With no guarantee towards getting the starting job) and making much less then he would have had he come out.

Locker you are putting your lively hood and your career in the NFL in jeopardy for what a school that as soon as you leave won't give a dam about you.

very good point.. take the money and run while you have the chance... there are so many variables that could potentially disrupt/ruin a career...

while Brohm made the wrong decision... looks like Greg Oden of Portland made the right one.

  2. I'll be really pissed if Orakpo takes rookie of the year honors away from Byrd.

Then again getting 9 INTs is a wee bit more impressive than getting 10 sacks.

Just a qucik question for you guys:

Has a rookie ever led the NFL in interceptions in a season?

  3. Im a big Bills fan and I love going to games in Buffalo.. But I live in Canada and I heard that they were pretty much giving tickets away for nothing (20 to 40 bucks...)

but when I got down to the game tickets were hard to come by, they were going for over face value even after the first quarter and there were tonnes of people who showed up with the intent of scalping so people were going crazy..

too bad it didnt translate into any atmosphere whatsoever. toronto nfl sucks and hopefully the bills never move.

there wasnt even tailgating - just ****ty expensive bars

  4. I know its a little early to make a call on Maybin at this point, but im just thinking...

The Bills targted Maybin before they even drafted him as a project that would need time to develop into his body.. and rougly put 20 pounds of muscle on... however that really hasnt transpired yet, and the result is he hardly plays at all, despite the fact that when he's in the game - he really demonstrates the speed we keep hearing about

I think Maybins body is fine the way it is.. hes got a prototypical linebacker body,

The bills should maybe think of dropping him back to a OLB - and looking into the future could use him in a 3-4 and he could be comparable to Demarcus Ware and how Dallas runs their defense.,. big strong OLB who can get pressure on the QB

just a thought - becasue whats happening now isnt working for a 1st round pick

  5. to be honest - the rogers center (formerly the skydome) is such a ****ty place to watch any sporting event (espcially football) that there is no way real fans in canada would pay to see a game there - with absolutly no atmosphere, no tailgating - if they could just drive a little bit to the ralph and experience the real deal

plus people were really soured by the prices of the tickets initially it may have turned them off of the whole thing.

and not to mention it is kindve a meaningless game. prediction - Bills 18 . Jets 10

  6. If Bradford is looking good at the time of the combine and they are confident his shoulder will be durable enough for the nfl - they should seriously look at taking him..

other than that locker is also a solid pick, but he might (might) go ahead of where the bills will be picking (assuming they dont win much here on in...)

    Claussien sucks.

  7. Crennel would be a solid DC to have...

Why not Billick at 1? considering the Bills want above all a proven winner, and he does have a ring

Charlie Weiss wouldnt be bad either - theres a lot of talk hes done at ND

no way should the bills have Martz in any capacity - the guys non-commitment to the run is out of style and does not work
