PFT reports, "A league source tells us it "looks like" White will indeed be released."
Wonder if this opens the door for a Lynch trade? I believe it was reported Seattle offered a 3rd for him. I don't think he was at OTA's. Why would Seattle trade for White and suddenly release him?

For all the negativity on this board I am surprised that more people are not concerned like me that spiller will be just another reggie bush. Bush demonstrated that smallish fast rbs who need open spaces may not seem so fast or elusive at all at the next level. Bush was considered a once in a generation player coming out of college. Instant offense. A cant miss prospect So much so that the texans were ridiculed at levels not seen before or since for picking a franchise defensive end ahead of bush. What could bush get in a trade today. A fourth? Before last year anyone would have taken lynch over bush straight up. Can someone explain why spiller will be better than bush so I feel better about this pick and the season.
No offense to cj but at this point u can't say that he is better than anyone. He hasn't played an NFL down for Christ sake.

Sorry Bills nation but I can't stomach what OBD has been selliing for the last decade. Now I realize that the owners are going to take a hard line with the players and there are business decisions being made here; since all of the RFA's are virtually unsigned and there have been no big money contracts given out to RFA's this year. So I expect a toough labor fight after this season. That being said some of the Buddy Nix Rethoric is pissing me off.
Quotes like "we like Kyle (Williams) a lot at NT"..Come on he could not anchor the nose in our 4-3 defense last year and quite frankly he is NOT a 3-4 nose at all.
OR
At QB or LT "we've got a couple guys we think can play, but we're going to find out"...More BS The Bills don't have a QB or LT on the roster ready to make an impact.
Just once I would like them to turn this place into a bus terminal a la Parcells until we get guys that can play. I know we get get all of these guys but some of the guys on the street or "rumored" to be available include:
Gaither
Vick
Marcus Spears
Adailus Thomas

----- and the fact that you are proposing that the bills should cut some dead weight, but then on your wish list is the biggest draft bust ever- Jam Russel or an over the hill bum like John Henderson makes zero sense. We already have a bum dt reject over the hill bum from the jags. I ll pass.

Look we need to take a few chances and cut some dead weight to get better. Thomas would be a better OLB than Schobel assuming he plays or Henderson at NT, make some trades.. something better than another 7-9 campaign.

While I agree that the Gaither trade is more than likely a pipe dream, Patrick Moran is not that much better than the original website that claims a deal is done. Moran has been called out countless times for simply making up stories and sources. My best guess is that he never emailed Schefter in the first place but is simply using his latest tweet as the basis for his own speculation.
I just dont see why the Ravens would rush to get this done. Why not wait it out a few months until training camp and then wait for injuries to pile up? I seriously doubt we'll see Gaither in a Bills uniform any time soon.
Jesus crist man how many times do I have to read a post about why the ravens are gonna sit and wait because it's in their best interest. Has it ever occured to you that a potential trade partner would want their new franchise lt in camp asap to learn playbook, gel with new line mates, etc. By the way if the ravens wait to long maybe potential trade partners will find a lt elsewhere....like on their own roster ( Ed Wang). Just sayin....

Now I know Russell was maybe the worst QB in the league for the Raiders, but he does have a cannon, and is young.
So with that in mind, any chance we (the bills) or you as a Bills fan, has interest is Russell?
Keep in mind, Russell did play for the Raiders. I am not making excuses for the young man, but it is hard to develope into a superstar, or even a good player when the Raiders draft you. No matter how good or talented you were supposed to be. (i.e. Huff, Gallary, McFadden, etc)
I am not under the dillusion that russell is the answer for the Bills, but if he were cheap and easily signed, would you remotely be interested?
My answer: NO
I like tsw but this topic is not even worth discussing. Should the biggest bust in draft history be the next bills qb, great idea let's add a huge problem to the long list of big problems.

Edwards is a kitty and isn't what Nix and Gailey said they wanted in a QB. He will end up being the one cut.
They know what they have in Fitz, solid #2/#3.
They drafted Brown to develop him, watch the post draft presser. You can tell by how they talk about him they expect good things.
That leaves Brohm. I still have a really tough time putting any faith in someone that can't even make a roster and who wasn't brought onto a team from Green Bay's practice squad except Russ Friggin Brandon.
That said...as much as I don't like Brohm, I am more than willing to see what happens in the competition between him and Brown and will back whomever of the two Gailey picks.
but someone please give me something besides friggin college stats to make me feel better about Brohm.
No chance Edwards is cut. He will be starting qb week 1.

Unfortunately, both Lynch and Russell have underperformed for their teams. With Buffalo selecting Spiller and the Raiders trading for Campbell, would you be in favor of trading Lynch for Russell?

Another year of Edwards turns my stomach. Wake up it's status quo at obd. Nothing gonna change til there is new ownership. The bills are an afterthought and joke and have not gotton any better. I am not usual a bills hater as a matter of fact i just renewed my season tix but I am disappointed. Qb and lt are our two biggest needs and we haven't addressed either of them. If they roll out the same three bums we have on the roster settle in for a long frustrating year of bills football. Oh wait maybe we ll add bulger to the mix.....next stop playoffs!

Considering the Fourth Round hasn't started yet, and Bruce Campbell is still on the board, I have to as what the **** are you raving about? The Bills won't make their fourth round pick until about 11:45. And what WR are you referring too? Come back from la la land. This is reality. And the QB you were referring to was Fitzpatrick, not Fitzgerald. That guy is a WR for the Cardinals.

The front office blows. Our o line is the worst in the league and they are completely ignoring it. Then they just let bruce Campbell walk one pick in front of them. Just picked a wr.... Not gonna pretend I know anything about him....but wow. Do we need another toy. Fitzgerald will be running for his life...again. And the seahawks traded for lendale white not lynch. Worst offseason yet.

man, I am getting real tired of the Bills doing absolutely nothing this offseason. They are not trying to bulk up the team at all...plus Lynch being MIA? What do we really have here, Gailey takes the tvs out of the weight room? I'm holding out some hope for the draft; but, this is shaping up to me another lost year.

I agree. The Bills have done nothing. The last day to renew my season tix is April 7th. What have they done to earn my $$$ for another season. I have every intention of renewing because I do love the Bills, but man give me something to get excited about. Or should I be excited about the possibility of the guys we draft this year and next hopefully developing into decent players in 2-3 yrs......and sprinkle in a few underachieving overpaid FA's along the way. At least last year T O was something to talk about.
How is Russ gonna sell tix this year?

Bills will draft tebow at 9. They are gonna do it ..... They have done nothing else to sell tix this year. He will be the face of the franchise moving forward. Trent will start next season and Timmy will sit and watch for a year and continue to develop.

Seems definitely like he's backpedaling on his earlier comments about Tebow. Could there have been internal conversations between Kelly and Nix?

Sorry but I guess we will have to agree to disagree here. I could not care any less why a fat slow 2nd tier NFC running back got cut. It was a dumb trade to begin with. White has been nothing but a disappointment since entering the league. But that's just me. I also can't stomach the
inevitable thread of why the bills should sign him. (see Flozell Adams)
