Doug Marrone's  career has taken an upward swing after the hire of Tom Coughlin....Till then they were a bad team.

Doug Marrone was a success at Syracuse. He left coming off a winning season in Buffalo. Tom Coughlin was hired the same day Marrone was officially given the head coaching job in Jacksonville. I'm not an apologist for Marrone I'm just saying he is a success with and without Tom.

  2. Did anyone think this roster was a playoff team. 50 Plus million in dead cap space. The team broke the playoff drought last year I think that should bank some credibility as a good coach.

Though technically not fired, letting Doug Marone walk away could be considered  a mistake. If basing it on the level of success he has had after his departure.

My personal stance is I root for the Bills and coach McD is part of the team and I hope he will be successful in rebuilding a championship caliber team. When and if he gets replaced I will be cheering just as much for the next guy. Go Bills

  3. Though not maligned these former coordinators deserve recognition for their achievements, except the last one he just gets a thanks.

Nathaniel Hackett  the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars

George Edwards the defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings

Jim Schwartz  the defensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles

Greg Roman currently the senior offensive assistant and tight ends coach for the Baltimore Ravens

  4. Last year was the first time in a long time that I was enjoying the whole season. I was upset when Marrone left and didn't blame him for trying to double dip, who here wouldn't. The last time I watched a meaningful game in December was I think when Malurkey couldn't beat the steelers backups. I think the resentment of Marrone is a little unwarranted. A coach is paid to win and last year he did just that.

I think Williams is the coach that just refused to adjust to the talent he had.

  5. If we go the college route there are only four names in my opinion.

    1. Jim Harbaugh

    2. Bob Stoops

    3. Kirk Ferentz

    4. Chris Peterson

Prefer the first two because I think they want to destroy the other team on Gameday. That would be a nice change of pace for the Bills. I love Leach but I put him more in the category of Mike Martz and I think he might be in over his head as a HC.

I think there are some other to consider but I just listed the ones who I thought would be attracted to the NFL. Kirk Ferentz would be my first choice, but I just don't think he is leaving Iowa. I just forgot about Jim, he will be in the NFL soon and should be considered.

Weis style fits the NFL better then college and I think he is unfairlycriticized for the job he does with ND.

  6. FU Marv.... Dude FU

Marv was the best thing that happened to the bills. Dont forget that

I think the best thing to happen to this team was Bill Polian. Marv was a class act and great coach, but Polian wins where ever he goes. Carolina made it to the championship game in their second year in the league. We all see the Indianapolis "Bills" can do. I think the biggest move this off season will be the hiring of the GM/President of the Buffalo Bills

And to the guys who say FU to Marv:

Marv Levy is the only coach in NFL history to win four consecutive league championship games.

Does the greatest accomplishment of your professional life surpass him in his chosen profession.
