  1. what bad points do you want? I'll trash the hard core neo cons and Republicans all day. The ones who believe Jesus talks to them. The ones who sit outside a planned parenthood with a sign all day and hand out pamphlets. The ones who are insulted when you won't bow your head for a prayer...etc

But, just like your little ignorant bunch there has been violence and stupid ****. However, the Republicans denounce the violence. They pray for the victims of an abortion clinic shooting. They own the mistakes of man and that's usually do to their tie-in to a faith based belief of God and admitting their mortality and sins.

Think what you want and you're right. I'm an uneducated, arrogant, misogynistic provocative outspoken !@#$ who stands up for what he believes in and would damn sure stand behind all of it when confronted. Thankfully, those who usually oppose me are pussies or scared when I step forward.

except you are not uneducated you went to college - my main problem with you is that **** about Trans gender molesting people in bathrooms and you should know why coming from you that makes me grit my teeth- are you going to make me spell it out- you fake Southern !@#$

  2.

Regarding your answer to #3. What does that have to do with the election?

nothing about the election just about violent protest in general - as for the election in particular I doubt there would have been violent protest although people here often talk about taking their guns somewhere and tree of liberty stuff.

  3.

    Say what?

Are you saying that Ozy, or the assorted other Hitler fans that have come & gone, were welcomed with open arms here?

Actual FB post commenting on vandalism to a Trump supporter's truck (keyed and slashed tires).

I'm confused who are you talking to? I'm guessing some of it is for me

  4.

So what you're saying is that the left has its own basket of deplorables, but they're excused because you agree with them?

right back at ya - as if the right on this board ever admits fault or condemns the worst elements on their side - on this board I'm one of about 5 left-wingers as compared to about 30 right-wingers- where I talk about our deplorable are on boards where I'm not quite so out-numbered.

  5.

I imagine there would have been some yelling. But would they have been violent? Well with history on our side let me ask you these questions.

    1. Did the right really not like Obama at all in 2012? They Hated him

    2. We're there protests in the streets after he was elected? Nope, right-wingers are concentrated in rural areas, they buy guns and ammo, and shoot at caricatures of Obama, troll online, drive their pickups with confederate flags( right here in rural NY) get drunk and gripe about how blacks are all on welfare and also how blacks are taking all the jobs because of affirmative action, Call talk radio about Obama taking all their guns, declaring martial law, forcing them into FEMA camps etc etc

    3. And if there were protests were then violent and destructive? violent protests? do you count an armed take over of federal land? abortion clinic bombings, setting fires to black churches, threatening and assaulting census workers.

    Aaaaaaaaand go!

  6. And then they'll vote for the democratic populist...

And like journey says, it goes on and on and on and on....

Damn you for making me quote journey.

don't think a large armed protest in DC isn't a possibility many of these guys have been soaking up 2nd Amendment, tree of liberty narrative for decades - they don't listen to Alex Jones for entertainment

  7.

The wall talk was something to get people fired up. It was never going to happen. As long as he secures the border, people will be okay with not having a wall.

You live in a bubble as much as any left-elitist if you believe that - I live in 40 miles away from Buffalo now surrounded by Trump supporters and they 100% believe he's going to build a wall and deport illegals and bring back good manufacturing jobs and they are going to be very very very pissed if he doesn't.

  8.

You know he won't provide those jobs.

It never ceases to amaze me that people actually believe this is how our country works.

Nope I don't Know - I think the odds are about a billion to one against but I don't know - I do know it's playing with fire promising those jobs and then not delivering them to well armed white people who haven't totally been conditioned to accept being screwed over.

  9. Also, I think Trump won because voters believed his promises. It is the same reason he could keep starting businesses in spite of repeated bankruptcies. He is tremendous at convincing people.

I'm interested in how he will provide the high paying benefit laden jobs that people are pissed about either losing or never having a chance at, basically he has promised those types of jobs to guys with a high school level of education at least they think he has around here- if they don't come in a year or two I think mass violence is not out of the question.

  10. Everything's on the negotiation table. Isn't it? Just like it is in any takeover of a major corporation or the installation of a new CEO.

Why wouldn't it? It's not like things are going so swimmingly for the country.

Remaining "on course" was soundly rejected yesterday. People want a new direction - upward, instead of the water-treading miasma that B.O. gave us.

There may not be a "mandate" to run roughshod over the progressives, but that didn't stop them in '08 when the shoe was on the other foot, now did it?

I expect him to put an emphasis on enforcing our current laws and to try to change some existing laws that are regressive WRT growing the economy. But that's just me.

    I kinda wanted a yes / no

Should go here for his deepest policy proposals.

    I went here https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions

  11. Which is funny, because no one on the news will admit that at all.

It's all about Trump resonating with non college educated rural Americans (ie... Stupid people). Nothing at all about people not liking Hillary Clinton. I know a lot of people that voted Trump, and almost all of them say it's because they hate Hillary, and will admit they don't really like Trump.

You know why it's because she was the corporate candidate and they are the corporate media not hard to figure out - Morning Joe was speculating whether Joe Biden would have beaten Trump and while I have nothing against Biden how about talking about whether Sanders would have beaten Trump, you know Sanders the guy who was actually running but they can't because Sanders didn't fit in their corporate parameters.

  12.

Trump was always a consummate salesman, and he sold himself to the voting public.

Now comes the much harder job, of which he's never really been good at, being a good executive manager. Let's hope the kids keep him grounded.

Someone should get a fix on what those kids are worth now so we can compare it to what they're worth at the end of Trumps presidency.

  13. Well, I was so very wrong. I didn't think this country would vote for someone with his rhetoric, and indicated lack of intellect.

I hope for the best for our country, fear for the worst. Congratulations to President Elect Trump. And congratulations to my peers here in PPP, I know you all were pulling hard for him. I hope he brings you guys good fortunes.

Look on the bright side (The Wall, rebuilding our infrastructure, hiring 100,000 I.C.E agents, rebuilding our military, and cutting Taxes) that's a hell of a stimulus package. I also think he will reduce income inequality
