Didn't the icy conditions cause the stall?
Lack of airspeed caused the stall, not lack of lift due to ice buildup. Dropping the gear and the flaps put the nail in the coffin.

Do we really want a coach who will only be here if there is enough $$$ thrown his way? Wouldn't things like "the burn deep within to coach again" or the "desire to build a winner" be better motivators in a new HC?

Definetely photoshopped...... Alvin Bowen is still in the photo too

I guess the arm bar on the missed deep ball to Evans was just good clean defense....

McGee is rock solid, you should not be GM

I don't mean to crash the party here, and I'm certainly not trying to rain on the Jairus love-fest parade, but I do want to give my honest opinion here: I realize that the guy has made some plays, but I think we're all getting a little bit too far ahead of ourselves in talking him up.
I'm happy that Byrd has come up with some picks, but does anyone else notice that (with the one notable exception of him out-fighting Braylon Edwards for the football last week--that was an outstanding play) every single one of his picks is a gross overthrow that just kind of lands in his hands? I know, I know, those ones count too, but it's not as though he's making any kind of special play on the ball or showing some great gift for covering the deep ball.
Again, don't get it twisted, I'm very happy to have someone back there that can haul in these kinds of passes--it's always important to capitalize on your opponents' mistakes--but, while I may be among the minority, I think Byrd's best attribute so far is that he doesn't drop the ball when it's thrown directly to him.
That said, I definitely think he has potential to be a very good FS, which I think is really what everyone is excited about. After all, you do have to be in the right place at the right time to make a big play.
I'll say this much, I remain thrilled that we picked him over Never-ette Brown (anyone notice him yesterday?).
The thing is, he is in position to make a play on the ball. If the throws were on the money, he would be there to defend that pass as well. He was reading the overthrow and playing the ball.... the biggest thing is he is putting himself in the correct positions to make a hit or clean up the garbage

If we did that, how would TO catch touchdowns from Rosenfels if he was playing for the Vikings and he was playing for the Bills?
Because we would have turned around and traded Roscoe for TO....it's simple really

It would just be subtitles.......

Burn.
Burn is an understatement.

Maybe Jauron can't win b/c he has bad quarterbacks. Maybe he has bad quarterbacks because he instills such a timid and cautious approach that his qb's cannot develop. And the cycle goes on and on from there....

Penalty or no penalty, everyone has been pining for Edwards to take a seat. Pace did us a favor. I don't like seeing anyone get hurt, but at least now we will have the opportunity to introduce a few variables into the equation and determine where most of the blame should lie.....

Ask anyone who has been at the home games this year and there have been a lot of open receivers down the field
-
Injuries were his knock in Carolina..... guy is a beast when he is on the field, he just isn't there often enough
-
I wonder how his (Wesley's) teammates would even try to stick up for him after that.... that guy should have been buried into the turf by 10 Bucs.

Well, at least we should get a glimpse of Fitpatrick pretty soon...

I was also thinking if Jauron could be a little more animated that he would be a perfect guard outside Buckingham Palace

I vote Mortician, that way he could be amongst his peers

Trent Edwards is the sniper who can't pull the trigger. It doesn't matter how well prepared he may be, how smart he is, or how fast he can diagnose the defense. If he doesn't have the fortitude to chuck it, nothing else matters
