  1. I wish all of you guys well. I have served the team faithfully in cities all-around the country proud of my colors. Well I'm not from western NY, but the Adirondacks, and I've never seen the Bills play live. I've watched just about every game since I discovered football in 89'. I even watched the entire Oilers game and I BILLeved.

Why should I treat a team like a wife or a child I love? They don't treat me that way, they treat me as a product they can capitalize on, and if that's true why oh why should I treat the product so lovingly when I cannot love the product they give me? Why should be so hell-bent on the emotions of a team that I don't live there and MAINLY because you treat the customer like garbage?

People can say I'm a bandwagon jumper and to that I say B.S. I always had hope the product would improve and I could enjoy the game even if they lose. I enjoyed watching the Bledsoe years as much as they pained me because we tried to improve the team even though the results weren't great. I got excited about Losman as a 1st rounder even after his 2 games under 80 yards and I was scratching my head how he was in the NFL. I loved the Flutie OR Johnson year, even the Collins years.

Now as a man in my 30's I realize this is a business, and why should I treat this business like my freaking family when it spits in my face? I should be following players and liking those teams they play on. Some team that is exciting and young with a good nucleus I could enjoy for 8-10 years.

The hiring of an old man as GM without any experience and a figure-head to a nerd who knows nothing about football, to an owner who won't hire a guy like Schott, to finally now hiring a guy like Gailey has me relinquish my love for this team.

I wish everyone well and I'm sure all the "don't let the door hit ya" posts will be lost on me as I don't care.

    Thanks Ralph!!!!

If you didn't care you would not have wrote..............

  2. so your client thinks this Gailey thing is a ruse?? or just that the Bills gave up on the Cowher vigil?

    thanks

I do believe that they gave up on Cowher because he was non-commital........I don't think it's a ruse at all - Ralph just got tired of waiting...........I'm sure Bill only did it because he wanted the leverage - never any real intent on coming here...........who knows what happens between now and 2 - a presser by the Bills at 2..........mtf.......

  3. Here's the 411 -

I met with a client that was here on business last night who knows Bill Cowher - very closely (friend of), he said he knew exactly what was going on with Cowher ................I was like do tell...........He said can't do it.............after a few brews and a trip to the local strip club with a few dances he let on.........

Bill has simply told the Bills he will think about the offer and let them know..................He hasn't said anything to them since.................that is why Ralph Wilson came out and said he doesn't know if Bill is interested or not.........there was multiple "short" meetings and an offer.................

Bottom Line - Bill has left the Bills wide open!

take it for what it's worth and no bashing - my source said he had some said to keep it secretly....he doesn't want his name out there..........

  4. I don't remember anyone treading this so here it goes..............

Mike Florio is now a tool too..................take a look at his dumb (ignorant) comments!

    http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...for-bill-cowher

    "4. Buffalo Bills

It's clear the Bills would love to have Cowher. But the thinking is he doesn't want to go there. The presence of a 91-year-old owner and an unsettled succession plan likely are significant factors.

Then there's the money. It would be difficult if not impossible for the team to cough up eight figures per year, at a time when the Bills are languishing in a market that's having a tough time properly supporting an NFL franchise."

Take a look at the Buffalo Faithfuls comments to him..................they rang in hard!

  5. Bill - All the reasons to come to Buffalo:

    1. The Fans and the Team Want you to come (most of us anyway - there's a few clowns in every circus!)

    2. Buffalo Fans are passionate and love their team and city! You are a passionate guy - I still have visions of you stuffing that photo in the Ref's pocket! nuff said!

    3. You would light the city on fire and have 73,000 + at all your games - that's like having an extra player on the field every time you have a home game!

    4. The Fans care enough to take a billboard out in your honor with their hard earned money - that speaks for itself.

    5. You will bring this franchise certainty! Ralph is a founding Father and Hall of Famer - much like yourself! This Franchise has been here for 50 years and it's not going anywhere! it's dyed in the wool!

    6. You will bring this team to the Superbowl!

    7. Your Legend will grow - and you will go down as one of greatest football motivators of all time!

    8. You are a cold weather coach!

    9. Your scowl will appear on T-shirts

    10. You will make $Millions$ and have the satisfaction of turning this entire Franchise around much like when Jim Kelly came to town...............

Bill - from our hearts - we need you and want you here! Please let us wake up and see the dream come true!

  6. Let's say this....................If you watched Adam Schefter on the pregame on Sunday..........he said, "There is as much chance of Bill Cowher (BC) becoming the Bills new head coach as me becoming the Bills next head coach"

Let's say this - Adam Schefter you are a Tool - with a capital "T"

    What is known is this:

    1. The Bills have contacted BC and have had subsequent discusssions.

    2. Bill Cowher has been silent on whether or not he is interested.

    3. Bill Cowher is still under contract (NFL Today) and does not want to discuss this while he is in front of a TV audience doing his job - think of any other person who is moving on to another job or comtemplating it - do they go public with it around the place they work? The answer is 99% No!

    4. If BC definitely does not want to come here he would have clearly said, "I will not be coaching the Bills" or he is not interested or taking himself out of the running - such as Mike Shanahan said that he withdraws from the Bills quest!

    5. The fact that he has been silent to me is a good sign or he simply would have said no.

    6. We are not on his "A" list but we are on his list - Instead of taking it out on BC - we should understand that any of us in this position take our career's seriously and choose the best option with no spite on any particular Organization.

What we have going for us?

The pins are falling for us, Cleveland, Seattle, Dallas is looking good so Wade should be safe, the only wiggling pin is John Fox and Carolina..................

Bill must love that the fans care so much that they take a billboard out in his honor! That might go a long way! Put youself in those shoes and what would you think to see a great big billboard of yourself! You're wanted! Those other Organizations mentioned about can't say the same...............

I know it's a struggle and we are checking daily to see where were at but it's just time to be patient until BC actually makes an announcement! Sorry for the long ramble but I think we are looking more like 50/50 at this point! Better than what the Tool Adam Schefter has to say..................He isn't making friends in WNY - Let's hope Bill comes here and make him look like the Tool he is...................

Buffalo Bill Cowher for Head Coach!

  7. Hey Perry - the best thing you can do right now - and trust me it will win many over!

Cut Josh Reed & Roscoe Parrish - both have clearly lost a step and the ability to hold onto the ball. Neither can get open anywhere on the field and on the rare occassion they do - they drop the ball. Do you think for 1 minute Steve Johnson would have dropped that ball?? Why, why, why do we let great talent like Steve Johnson & James Hardy sit on the bench?

Why, why, why do we keep playing pitiful quarterbacks? I understand the line is no picnic but look at all the injuries there - what you need to neutralize that is have quick drops or shotgun and quick release - Please tell me what the point in in letting Fitz or Trent play anymore this season? Brohm played great in his last preseason game. Not saying that equates to anything other than a change from what we've seen - and that my friends is what we all need! When we blow it up this time let's not use firecrackers - let's go with dynamite! Oh - I guess I have one more rant. Can we draft some big guys for the D-Line? We haven't fixed the pass rush in years - and it is painful to watch! Why not just let Maybin start every game and every down as an Outside Linebacker like an LT - Put the guy in the right position to succeed. Many I was watching Clay Matthews Jr. last night - what a treat! All I can say is KABOOM! I'm out...............

  8. Consider this:

    Jeff Garcia Lifetime:

Career NFL statistics as of 2009

    TD-INT 161-83

    Passing yards 25,537

    QB Rating 87.5

    Trent Edwards Lifetime:

    Pass attempts 796

    Pass completions 487

    Percentage 61.2

    TD-INT 23-24

    Passing yards 5,314

    QB Rating 78.0

    Ryan Fitzpatrick Lifetime:

    Pass attempts 554

    Pass completions 318

    Percentage 57.4

    TD-INT 14-18

    Passing yards 2,921

    QB Rating 66.8

Career NFL statistics as of 2009

    TD-INT 35-30

Live in the NOW! Get what you can - Win whatever game you can and see where it goes - if we even had average QB play we'd be in a prime position right now..........Trying out Patrick Ramsey - that's a joke but statistically better than what we've got! Get the best that's available not the worst! Let's salvage - We spend every year rebuilding - we aren't cutting it as carpenter's!

  9. I think trent's problem is that he was irreversibly broken last year in arizona.

Maybe it will be like that old cartoon - where you are hit one time and don't know who you are then you're hit again and you're back (Arizona last year - Jet this year)

  10. I think that Trent's problem is he doesn't understand when to release a ball into a route.

He definitely does not know how to throw a timing pattern - whether a slant, curl or even the deep route.

He seems to have lost all his confidence and looks completely lost out there

It's maddening to see that he can only seem to throw to a receiver that's wide open (usually the checkdown).

I much like most of you watch avidly and PVR the heck out of the game.....the O-line is not the greatest but on most drop-backs he has 4 - 6 seconds to get rid of the ball........that's enough time........look at A. Rodgers in GB - he's getting clobbered and has less time but he's had quite a few hook-ups and understands when to get rid of the ball into a pattern.......that is an instinct and trent just doesn't have it..........or he did have it but lost it........I think that is the major difference in winning and losing this year.........If you have a QB that get's it you win games........Let's see how Ryan's Hope plays this Sunday and the next couple weeks.......it's not too far fetched to see if this team pulls that aspect of it's game together we can still make the playoff's - you heard it hear first - sit down and look at the schedule that's left.......it's doable! Possibly as good as 11-5..........after all - look at the beggining of the season last year........If we can have a finish like we started last year - maybe we will be back in the playoffs before long!!!
